Really enjoy stopping by for something sweet! They have a few gelato options and very nice macaroons. The coffee isn’t that great and since it’s more of a kiosk, the macaroon come fresh from Sarasota. They’re really good but certainly not the best I’ve had! I’ll check out the store fronts in The Falls and Coco Walk to see if there are more options.

I have sampled almost every flavor they offer and I still have mixed feelings about this place. I don’t know if it’s the atmosphere or the products but I’m still not convinced 100%. Some of the flavors are great like the lychee rose and basil white chocolate but I wished their lavender was smoother and overall not so sweet. This is a good place to satisfy that sweet craving, yet still have some work to do.

I came here excited to try their macarons(because I love macarons with a passion). I also came here recently spoiled from a San Francisco trip where every block I turned had amazing macarons(of which I stuffed my face with; hi, Diabetes, my name is Liane — lol). Anyway, I called ahead before I went by Dadeland to find out pricing. These are the prices IF you are placing them in their white box. They have separate(slightly higher) pricing if you choose to box your macarons in their«signature» box(which I suppose is just a nicer box for gifts etc.) 6 macarons — $ 13.80 or $ 2.30 ea 12 macarons — $ 26.40 or $ 2.20 ea 24 — $ 50.40 or $ 2.10 ea 36 — $ 72 or… You guessed it! $ 2 each This is the pricing PRIOR to tax. Now, with regards to one of the other reviewers remarking about the $ 2.50 pricing and the«25% markup» over just a month… There hasn’t been a «markup». The pricing is simply dependent on «the more you buy, the lower the price per piece». Also, none of the above pricing designated a 2.50 price per macaron(tho perhaps she’d meant post-tax? Or perhaps that’s the pricing if you purchase less than 6). I ordered a box of 12: 4 coffee 2 salted caramel 2 lavender white chocolate 2 Madagascar black vanilla bean 1 Belgian chocolate 1 basil white chocolate Personally, they were all on point in terms of how soft they were. I LOVED the salted caramel. Both the boy and I liked that best, followed by the coffee. The lavender was too floral for me — felt a little like I was eating perfume lol(but the gentleman waiting on us did mention that rose would be «softer» when I asked about the 2). The vanilla was also yummy. The basil was a little weird to me(was trying it out haha, but I didn’t taste much of the white chocolate. Just came off a little strangely herbal). The boy said the chocolate was too sweet for him. I don’t remember what my half of that one tasted like because I was too busy thinking of how I could steal the 2nd salted caramel from him before he could eat it… Haha! :) Overall, I’d come here again when I want a macaron fix. :) also! I love that I can practice my French with the gentleman helping us. :) good to see 5 years of French classes going somewhere lol. Oh! And their gelato was über too. :) From the sample I tried. Will try their chocolates next time: D

For a place that has Macaron in their name– you would think their signature product would be on point. Except it was the exact opposite. I am a huge fan of macarons and I was excited to find another macaron place in Miami. For $ 2.50 a macaron– this is on the pricer end for a macaron. I usually see the price range from $ 1.75 — $ 2.25, It is only $ 0.30 cheaper than the famous Parisian Laduree– so I had pretty high expectations. I also like how there is a review from June where the macaron’s were only priced at $ 2 but just a month later there’s a 25% price increase. There was a good selection offered and I chose Rose and Madagascar Black Vanilla. I did not like it. When you take a look at the macaron– the outer shells are very thick and too puffy(for lack of better words). With every bite– the proportion of the outer shells dominated the filling. The consistency felt like a chewy cookie. Not a fan. Hopefully their chocolates are better. I don’t get how there are so many locations for this store. Make the trek over to Lincoln Mall for Laduree or to Mary Brickell Village for Ganache Chocolate where their macarons are 20x better.

The worker was very friendly. I came here with my brother because we’ve never tried a macaron before. We asked how much a macaron was and it was $ 2 and change. We were a little hesitant to buy because of how expensive it was for a little pastry. But we ended up buying a dozen macarons and that came out to be $ 28. I won’t give this place 5 stars because of how expensive it was. As for the actual macaron they were delicious. I especially liked the rose and coconut flavors but wasn’t a fan of the cassis. Overall it was a nice one time thing but it was too expensive for my taste.

So, my experience at this new Le Macaron location was about 50⁄50. The customer service, which was the owner’s son, was excellent and its rather cute to have the whole family working there. They had a variety of flavors, chocolates and gelato. The macaron is shipped from Tallahassee, the gelato was from France, and I am not 100% sure about the chocolate. The display for the macarons were a little hard to view, since you had to bend down to look at all the flavors, which I didn’t mind too much but might be more difficult for other people However, the macarons were a whole different story. A box of six was $ 13.80 before tax. I picked casis, columbian coffee, walnut, lavender, pistachio, & coconut(which was the one they recommended). Now, the flavors were great and the Columbian coffee was my favorite. However, I would say only 3 of them tasted fresh, two of them were on the verge of being old, and the coconut was definitely old and crumbled completely the moment I took a bite. So I figured they just recommended that one to move product. If this wasn’t the case I probably would have given them a solid 4 stars. I don’t think you should just move product, rather it is better to cut from your profit to get more loyal customers. I don’t think I will come here again, but the customer service was a very redeeming factor in this review.
