DO NOT COME HERE –THEY KEEP DELETING MY REVIEW! Was referred by family member who has been going for ten years. Dirty waiting area, staff does not give a s— about you and will take their cash walk-​ins first. We had a problem with our authorization — and WE had to fix it. If your are familiar with insurance– THEY should have asked for it from the company the day before, not the min we walked in. After receiving authorization ourselves– owner basically told us we would have to wait longer– and if we didn’t like it– we could go somewhere else. Muttering to leave her alone. Don’t waste your time here. This is a place with a bad attitude, and no customer help not care. I wouldn’t even give this place a star ⁰⁄₁₀

My family and I have been going to Leslie’s for many many years. They have great prices on their frames and lenses. I always get name brand frames and I usually spend about $ 150-​$ 300, that’s with frames and a special lens (thin lens). They have other frames that are even cheaper, so it just depends on what you like. I love this place because they are all so friendly and willing to help you and you get some GREAT deals on your glasses.
I have to get a special lens b/​c I’m blind as a bat… I’ve tried other places and they want to charge for the lens alone $ 150… Then add the frames and the damage is about $ 300 – 400. Um no thank you!!!
They have an optometrist there and he’s okay. (I go to another one)
If you have an emergency he’s pretty open so you can be seen by him. If you don’t have insurance the exam fee is reasonable. They do take some insurances, just call and ask.
They usually have your glasses ready in less than a week and don’t have to pay it all up front. The owners are very nice, especially Leslie. If you have any problems with your glasses, they work with you.
The parking of that shopping center is a nightmare, especially during peak hours and the spaces are tiny. I just found the parking in the back. Don’t have to deal with the tiny parking spaces.
It’s right across from FIU and next to New Wave. This is a great place especially for college students that need contacts or an eye exam. They are very reasonably priced. unless someone else has found somewhere cheaper… Let me know!
