Tried this place to get away from the Los verdes craziness. And I must say, we were blown away. Maicitos and arepa de chocolo were amazing! And we both had quesadillas which were just as great! We will definitely be coming back. I really hope they do well! Telling everyone I know about this place!

Great little spot to pick up some authentic Colombian breakfast. It feels like you’re visiting your friend’s house; they are very laid back and make you feel comfortable. The mandarin juice is delicious and refreshing while you wait.

Found this place by luck I was getting a car wash and saw the place. This is one of the best Colombian restaurants I been too. It’s very clean and the owners are really nice. They have a great selection of things on menu. But I had there lunch special of chicken breast with soup and salad, and it was awesome every thing was fresh. And what can I say more then it was $ 6!!! And it comes with 3 sides. Can’t wait to come back

My favorite Colombian place! I always get the Maicitos de pollo and the Chicken Quesadilla. My wife loves the Sancocho!

I was getting my car washed across the street in the shopping center with Rey’s Pizza(which I totally recommend, by the way. The car wash, not the pizza) and stumbled upon this place while looking for a bite to eat. Upon entering, the place seemed pretty empty, poorly lit, damp, and not at all a contender for America’s Cleanest Restaurant award(which I just made up). The menu, however, looked incredibly appetizing. If you are into the Columbian, «Los Perros» style of food, this place definitely takes the cake. Their menu was extensive, though we ended up settling on a Maicito con Pollo and a Platano con Queso y Pollo. My Maicito was phenomenal. For those of you that aren’t familiar with this kind of food, a maicito is kernal corn, mozzarella cheese, smashed potato chips, pink sauce and pineapple sauce. There are different meat options that you can add in, like chicken, pork, or steak. At $ 5.50, not only was it cheaper than the Maicito at Los Verdes, but the portion was way larger and it had even MORE flavor– something I thought to be impossible as a biiiig fan of the dish at Los Verdes. The Platano was a large, fried plantain, filled with basically everything that came with the Maicito. It was delicious and original. I’m surprised I hadn’t seen this wonderful concoction at any other Columbian restaurants. This dish was $ 6.99. Overall, I am very satisfied with this place as a take-out restaurant. I definitely wouldn’t want to dine in, especially on your typical hot Miami day, due to the humidity and lack of ventilation inside the restaurant, but I will without a doubt order for delivery or take-out in the future. Good mom and pop shops deserve to get recognized for their great food even if they don’t appear to be much.
