I took an out of town colleague to this place for lunch. I have visited before and once again it made me look good. Service is always courteous and they are helpful with recommendations. As with almost every peruvian restaurant, portions are big and food quality is very good. My only criticism is that there’s no lunch menu and this makes for bit expensive meal(typical on most peruvian places). I had the pescado a lo macho and my friend had the lomo saltado. They were both nicely cooked, presented and very tasty. Don’t miss the jalea mixta if you like fried seafood. It is also great. They can accommodate vegetarian needs also.

Went with the family a couple of weeks ago, and it’s also been a place for my wife and I on our date nights. The Lomo Saltado — which is what I judge all Peruvian places by – is always satisfactory here. Good ceviche and papa a la huancaina as well.

Mucho cuidado, fui a comerme un ceviche y me lo prepararon con pescado descompuesto, el olor a podrido se podia sentir sin tener que probarlo. Yo no me lo comi pero mi novia se trago un poco y se enfermó.

I think these people changed owners, the service is not good anymore. I wish I could rate the food this time, but had to walk out as the waitress was unaccommodating. My husband tried asking for lomo with chaufa, she looked at him like he was from Mars and tried to make up some crazy plate. They seemed to be charging ‘extra’ for everything. Annoying… the final straw was when my husband discovered black things floating in his water and when he asked the waitress to bring a clean one she offered him sparkling water as his only option??? Weird. We payed for our drinks and left. Will never be back. Buyer be aware!

First try out. Always passed by this restaurant but never had a chance to walk in. I’m so glad we tried out. Unlike the look of the whole shopping center, the place is cozy nice setting with good taste decorations. The server was well trained and very kindly educated us. Food was awesome!!! I went with my friend and kids. Next time, I want to bring more friends so we get to try more menu.

This is a small little restaurant with a lot of flavor. The service could be better but the food is pretty good. For appetizers I recommend the causa de pollo, the jalea mixta(if you like seafood), and my favorite the parmesan scallops which are a delight and I have never had any like this before so to me it’s a very unique dish at this restaurant. The scallops have a hint of lemony flavor and lots of yummy delicious cheese, definitely a must try. My favorite dishes are the Lomo Saltado, the fried rice(I get it with beef instead of seafood) and the churrasco with pesto fettucini. I also tried their purple drink made in house… which I forgot the name and when I first sipped it, it was ok. Then after a few more sips it was better and better. It’s made of corn and it tastes fermented. I get it now everytime I go. I would skip the dessert. I tried the suspiro and something else I can’t remember but they come pre-packaged so they don’t make them in house and they are very sweet… too sweet for me and it feels like something I could get at a store. I prefer desserts made in house. Anyhow really enjoy this restaurant.

Awesome food! Great service. Just wish they can change the tables for the outside, I come once a year when I’m around the area and they still have the same old tables, they are broken and unstable, not even a piece of cardboard can’t help, other then that all good!

Great service and great food. Had ceviche mixto and a lomo saltado, both good. Others at my table had filete a lo macho and it came out looking better than I’ve seen elsewhere.

Service was 5 star, food was 3.5 star, might be that I wasn’t crazy about what my girlfriend and I ordered.

The food was very nicely presented and flavorful. I got the presidential platter and split it with my mom and it was the perfect amount. Definitely recommend the ceviche and the slow cooked beef in the white bean sauce. Will definitely be going back.

The last time we ate here was 2 years ago and it wasn’t memorable. Since one of our favorite Peruvian restaurants have expanded their quality has taken a dive. We are looking to replace them so we decided to give this place a try, after all it’s been over 2 years. Well I’m sorry to report that they will not be replacing our former favorite restaurant. The food is mediocre, from the taste to the presentation. Our server was very professional and friendly, the young man was very attentive. Our lunch with dessert and two traditional Peruvian non alcoholic drinks came out to over 50 $ tip included. I had the Tallarin Verde with grilled chicken which was very dry. She had the grilled pork chop, also very dry. I am pretty positive I won’t be coming back and I wouldn’t recommend you come here either. Ps. Our Suspiro Limeño dessert was horrible! It was 5 $ each and we threw them both away. Watery, Gritty, and just yucky

After reading the reviews I was excited to eat at this establishment, but and I insert a very large but, it was a huge disappointment. The ceviche mixto was OK, my wife’s Chupe de Camaron was less than not good and my Corvina Saltado was downright the very worst I have ever had. I felt that I was eating Chicken Nuggets(they would probably have been better) sautéed with onions and tomatoes. The only good item was their rocoto hot sauce which was very good; otherwise… let’s just say we are never going back to keep it G rated. The service was good otherwise they would have gotten only one or no stars.

Nice and cozy spot. Good food. The ceviche is amazing — you have to try it. Good choices for kids, tried the fish and it was a hit. The service is good, but the staff lacks some knowledge. I would visit again, they have a great menu.

I am obsessed with ceviche and this has to be one of the best in town! The service is attentive and friendly. The octopus and fish ceviche were my favorite! Everything tasted very fresh and was plated beautifully. My boyfriend had the lomo saltado and it was very well seasoned. Way better prices and quality than anything in the area. Have already been back twice since!

Great Peruvian breakfast! I look forward to returning and trying them out for Dinner. We order the Machupicchu breakfast and the Lucina breakfast, both amazing!

Left work late and I have been dying for some ceviche! Great service, took my order and got my food fast. But disappointed that it’s not as good as I had hoped based on the reviews.

This place has good Peruvian food. Some what expensive but I think it goes hand in hand with the seafood dishes. The food is tasty, when ever I go to a peruvian restaurant I end up ordering Tacu Tacu, and this place makes good. Service is ok, I think it could be a little better but its nothing I can’t work with. The other issue I found is that the place is kind of small so a little crowded. If you go with a big group be prepared as you might be a little crowded.

So here’s my take on Machu Pichu: –deliciously different real ceviche that tastes like Peruvian home ceviche –pulpito al olivo is hard to find and theirs is a secret menu item worth investigating if you enjoy Botija olives or octopus. –their huancaina sauce isn’t bland at all –BESTANTICUCHOS, well marinated –sweet service –tiny, dark and cozy

When I visit my family in MIami, we have dinner at Machu Picchu. They know my cousin here since she comes in with her family every week. We are seafood lovers and love ceviche, so we look forward to it each time. We usually let my cousin order for the table and split the dishes. We were very impressed by the Ceviche de Langosta y Pulpo ordered by another table, so we got that. It’s an award winner and for good reason. They serve an entire lobster and octopus in a wonderful ceviche marinade sauce. We ordered the Carafe of Sangria, which was very good with the ceviches. My guy likes to order the different Peruvian beers and ordered a Cristal and Cusquena during dinner. We also had the Jalta Mixta, Lomo Saltado and Leche de Tigre Ceviche. The whole table was happy and sharing all of the plates, family style. The dinners are always worth the cost and so very delicious, especially if you love seafood. Please build a Machu Piccu in California, preferably in my neighborhood. You would see me here every week too.
