Never, EVER again. My sister and I were staying in Miami for a night and got this menu slid underneath our hotel room door. We thought we’d give it a try. We ordered a chicken sandwich($ 6.95), fries($ 2.50) and a medium cheese pizza($ 7.95). Even when the man on the other end of the phone was extremely rude and yelled at my sister to «hold on» when we called to place our order. It took an hour and fifteen minutes for our food to arrive and our bill mysteriously added a $ 10 for no reason, which we were unaware of. The pizza was less than subpar, the fries were greasy and soggy and the chicken sandwich ended up being a ham and cheese sandwich, which they also used the heel of the bread. It was almost like someone was trying to run a restaurant out of their home kitchen. Extremely unhappy.

This place used to be great but had gone downhill really fast. The old cheese pizza is no longer the same as it used to be. Service is meh.

There’s a great Cuban place across the street in which we usually eat, but we said«let’s give this place a chance». For a place that doesn’t have that many items on the menu I would expect them to have better food. It’s pretty much what you expect. Except for the meat lasagna, it’s was pretty good. The salad and pasta passed as edible and the pizza was average at best. They had good service but it’s nite worthy to say that we were the only ones there. Nevertheless they were friendly and welcoming and checked on us during the meal. The prices are decent for the portions they offer but we didn’t appreciate that they had the tip already included in the check. So I don’t think we will return to this place anytime soon but if we do it’s going to be for some lasagna.

Pizza was decent, Service is slow! Watch out when the check comes, they added two extra sodas and the tip is already included!

Waited 20 minutes for 2 slices to go and Ate one in the parking lot immediately. The toppings were ice cold(mushrooms and sausage) along with the slice. Second slice was the same. Pretty terrible overall. Never again.

Very poor quality of food. I ordered a pizza and a spaghetti and meatballs dinner. It had ONE meatball… ONE. The pasta was also overcooked and it seemed like there was a shortage of tomato sauce because I barely got any. To top my visit off I was accidentally charged $ 160.00 instead of $ 16.00. Yep not going back there again.

Mehhh… The service, first and foremost, was not great. We sat outside and were pretty much forgotten. We had to place our order inside because no-one cared to take our order. The pizza: ok. Nothing left to be desired. And the caesar salad with grilled chicken, although good, was hot. Hot lettuce is not acceptable!

Pizza place open after hours during a week-day? Yes, please. Got the special of 2 slices of mozarella pizza with a soda, pretty good deal. Flavor is meh, though. Could use more sauce or more cheese. Crust was too dry itself. Made me wonder if they’ve had the pizza out all day because it definitely did not taste fresh. My friend ordered a beer and it took forever to get it. Giving it props just for the hours.

We’ve been here many times before. Great pizza. Tonight, though, they inexplicably aren’t serving pizza. Or calzone. Or Stromboli. Only salads and pasta. «Because the guy isn’t here» was the explanation. Fail.

Excellent Calzones and garlic rolls. Service was also excellent. Probably the best Pizza shop I’ve been to in Miami. Almost as good at the Pizza shops back home in New York… almost. :)

The place is ok… tried a slice on the go and though it seems like its New York style, it really isn’t. If you are craving New York style pizza there are better places to go.

Absolutely horrible! We waited forever to get our lunch… salad and turkey sandwich. Salad arrived at least 10 min. before sandwich. Asked for wheat bread, got white.

This place is OK. They have some lunch specials which is good. The pasta dishes are decent but nothing special. My only problem Is I got the pizza special one time and they reheated nasty pizza which had been sitting around for probably hours so the texture was terrible. Needs better quality control

One day while on a trip to Target/Michaels in the dadeland area we stumbled upon $ 1.00(or 99c?) slices of pizza at Maco’s. The roomie and I were starving and opted to take a gamble, with not much to lose! The pizza this day was decent, the atmosphere nothing spectacular. I think they’ve got some big screen tvs but there are only a handful of tables. I thought it was going to be a self serve pizza place(advertising pizza by the slice?), but we had to take a table and be served. We decided to go back tonight on the search for some good/inexpensive pasta dishes. We were the only diners for most of our stay so are service was very attentive. I had a garlic/oil pasta(7.50) with a side salad(.95 add) that also included a garlic roll. Unfortunately the roll came out first, then the pasta, THEN the salad. The salad was VERY mediocre(I guess something to expect for the price) with iceburg lettuce, slices of tomato and cucumber — no croutons or cheese or anything fancy:(I originally thought the pasta portions were small but I ended up not being able to eat even half. The garlic roll was the saving grace of the meal — JUST the right amount of oil and garlic on top. mmm! I PROBABLY won’t go here again unless I have the pizza urge while at dadeland. Even then, I’d opt for pizza hut express at target:) pros: table service, price, convenience cons: food service, food quality

Open for only six months, and located in Dadeland Station, Mamalukes has quickly become the number one pizza spot on our speed dial. My wife stumbled on to this place while shopping and we have ordered delivery a few times and have not been disappointed. The pizza has the freshest meats and veggies and since it has recently opened whenever you order a pizza they give you a second one free! The wings are excellent, not cooked to crispy, and I recommend them served with the hot sauce. Not too hot and yet full of flavor. I have also tried the meatball sandwich which was incredibly light considering the ingredients and I was informed by the owner that she personally makes the meatballs and sauce fresh from scratch every day. Catering to mostly delivery or take out you can dine in but be patient because, although they are incredibly friendly, when we dined in there was only one person for the diners and she still had to handle all of the the take out orders.
