My friend and I decided to go here because there was barely a line, only 5 people compared to the other 20 food trucks and the menu looked interesting. I figured it would be quick I was told the wait would be 30 mins if not less after I ordered the food. Little did I know I would wait 1 hour. I ordered the churrasco steak yuca bowl. The steak was flavorful and the yuca bowl was very good. It came with spanish rice and was also good. The food quality was good but definitely not worth the wait. Also they kept telling us that our food was next and we were almost the last people to be served. People got their food before us after ordering after us. I thought food trucks are supposed to quick service street food. Would recommend and give more stars if they were honest about how long their food takes and had better service.

HORRIBLE service. Waited for 2 hours and the food wasn’t even amazing once served. Over priced. Steak sandwich was so/so. Not recommended.

I visited Main Stop Grill when they were parked at Magic City Casino for Burger Beast’s Hot Dog Fest. Since this was a hot dog fest they were offering a few special dogs for the day and I went with the Yuca dog. It was essentially a corn dog, but rather than use corn bread batter they used a yuca batter. It was topped with a spicy cheese sauce and came with garlic cilantro mojito sauce for dipping. It took a little while to get the hot dog, but they are making them fresh and came out piping hot. After letting it cool a little I took a bite. The yuca batter works really well here and has a great taste and texture and is much like getting hot dogs and(yuca) fries in one bite. The cheese sauce had a little kick, but not too much spice(luckily for me, I don’t like a lot of spice) and the buttery garlic mojito sauce was great to dip. I hope I can get this hot dog from them again, but if it was just a special item for the festivals the truck does offer many other intriguing items. They seem to specialize in yuca bowls with a fried yuca bowl filled with whatever meat, veggies, and sauces you desire. II’m pretty new to yuca not having grown up eating it, but I’ve never seen anything quite like this so I will have to try one in the future.
