Come here! The owner is super friendly. Come here over deli lane and novecento nearby — you will get better food and service, plus you can pretty much order whatever you want.

What makes this place so wonderful is the attentive owner — He will make sure he gets your order exactly the way you want it and will even change it post-serving if you are not satisfied with it. He’s super friendly and smiley and yes, he’s actually French! The food is great brunch food. I got to try the Caprese sandwich with a side salad and got a croissant with an omelet and spinach inside it(I was hungry). I had some of my friend’s fruit bowl with honey and sugar on top and it was perfect as well as all of our groups’ orders. The pink decorations might throw you off, but really the food is excellent café food. Would come here again, thanks Jerome!

First of all I must say this place is hard to find, and I live a couple of blocks away, so I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to just find it by accident. BUT, once you find it, it’s all good. Why don’t we start off by saying that Jerome, the owner, is the nicest guy you’ll find? He greets you with a big smile, and with a heavy french accent he says«whatever you want, I make for you». Isn’t that great? Now, on with the food. We ordered a pair of cortaditos, and they were ok. Then we tried a couple of fresh baked butter croissants, and these, let me tell you, are the real deal. But the highlight of our breakfast were our crepes, my wife had a Prosciutto, Mozzarella, Tomato, Fresh Basil and Pesto crêpe, which was simply delicious. I had one that had Turkey Breast, Brie, Veggies, etc., and was tasty as well. Key comments: 1) My crêpe was supposed to have some chorizo, but since he was out of chorizo, Jerome offered to replace it with another topping, I said it was ok. So to make up for it, he did not charge me for the butter croissants. 2) The credit card machine was not working, so I took a few steps outside to the ATM, no big deal. When I came in, my daughter had picked up a bag of chips, and once again Jerome wouldn’t charge me, just to make up for me having to walk for the ATM. Now this is service my friends. All in all, great food, great prices and excellent service. I wish Jerome the best of luck, I know I’ll be coming back.

This place was pretty good. It was a great value. I thought the crêpe was good but the breakfast croissant was not that great.

Excellent place. Great food and very inexpensive. The owner is very friendly. Very important fact that I let him know about. The website says open Monday through Saturday. This is not true. He is open every day. I went today(Sunday)

Make sure you try this place for breakfast and lunch it is cheap, amazingly fresh, creative and delicious!!! My husband and I went here for breakfast every morning we were in Miami and were never disappointed! The owner serves the best crepes that we have ever had and runs it 7 days a week without a break and his hard work definitely pays off because everything is delicious!!! Give one of the omelet’s a try as well because I have never enjoyed a breakfast this good for under $ 8/person and everything was made right in front of us!

This place was awesome! Jerome is a sweetheart who wants to make his customers happy – by being flexible with orders, making recommendations, and occasionally giving away a bit of dessert :-) The crepes were delicious and filling. We’ll be back!

Okay, so I’m not the first reviewer of this place, I was a couple of weeks too late in posting and I’ve already been beat on saying things like«hidden jewel» «delicious food» «awesome place» «Jerome […] is the nicest, hospitable people…» but aside from the fact that the staff is incredibly kind, the owner loves what he does and the place is straight out of a page in a magazine, everyone who goes to Maje leaves with a huge smile on their face and a full tummy. My friend’s bother brought us here for a pre-beach bite, he later revealed he was an addict for their chocolate chip cookies and didn’t really care what we ordered as long as he had the chance to bite into this warm, crumbly chocolaty goodness. As we sat and saw him scarf down his feast, we were promptly given our orders and I am happy to report that the bread was just the right balance of crispiness and chewiness, the prosciutto was not heated with the rest of the sandwich and the tomatoes were divine. All in all, Maje is a great breakfast or lunch alternative to the crazy-expensive restaurants that flood Brickell without having to sacrifice convenience and ambiance. I do have to say this, tho, a star was lost because the mushrooms they used for my friend’s crêpe were canned, I did not like that, but then again, I did not order the crêpe. He seemed happy enough with it.

I would never have believed that you could find this place in Brickell, where everything is practically expensive. We randomly walked into this place b/c it was Labor Day, and all restaurants for Miami Spice(or most) were closed for lunch. We found signs for this café on Brickell so we ventured in for lunch. It’s actually really hard to find b/c it’s not located near the street but really on the side of a building facing a parking lot. Service: 5STARS~ Jerome was really sweet to us, even though his English wasn’t that great. However, my friend, who’s been in Paris the past year, was able to use her French and it was so cool seeing them talking French to each other in the heart of Miami. lol Anyway, Jerome is the most enthusiastic owner I’ve ever met, and he was so awesome in that he gave us free macarons at the end of our meal, all which were delicious. Price: 5 stars. Food: 4 stars. We each had our own crêpe($ 7.50) with mozarella, prosciutto, pesto, and tomato. It was really good and filling. My only complaint was the tomatoes were a bit sour and the prosciutto for some odd reason tasted like fish. We also had the nutella, strawberry, banana crêpe which was also delicious. I will definitely be coming back here again.

Delicious! I concur with the previous reviewer. Tucked in the back corner of an office building, this café is a little jewel hiding out! The owner is so personable, really wants to please, and is really great at making delicious food. I have a Parfait, which came with coffee and a viennoiserie, my husband had am omelette that was cooked like a crêpe, stuffed with prosciutto and mozzarella, with a side salad. My 2 yr old happily picked off both our plates. I encourage you to try it out! Merci bien!!!

This place is AWESOME! My wife and I have been wanting to try i for sometime, and it was usually on Sunday’s when we always decide we want to go, despite that they did not open on Sundays. well… this has changed! We finally made it today(on a Sunday), and could not be happier. What it lacks in size, it more than make sup for in charm and food quality. Great ambiance and chic décor only add to the experience. But the true gem, is Jerome, the owner. He is one of the nicest, and hospitable people I have met in a while. When he told my wife and I(in broken English with a heavy French accent) «whatever you want, I make it for you», I instantly knew I would make this place one of my local favorites. We talked about him making us one of our favorite deserts, mille crêpe, and I will take him up on his offer soon! A MUSTTRY!
