I have been coming here for years. It’s Downtown Miami’s best kept secret. Its been owned by the same family for easily more than 30 years. The sandwiches are made to order when you order and it is the best prices in that area hands down. If you are ever near Downtown, late at night, and ready to munch out for less than ten bucks, give the place a try. You won’t regrest it

Still the best hole in the wall in downtown and worth the drive from anywhere in the city!!!

I stayed at a nearby hotel for Ultra weekend. This corner store /café was a godsend after a long day of loud music and dancing in Bayfront Park. Not wanting to wander off too far, this place was perfect for picking up a late night snack before heading back to my adjacent hotel. A Gatorade and Cuban ham and cheese sandwich was just under $ 6 bucks. The ham and cheese was pretty basic, but tasty. There quite a few other Cuban pastries in the display window that looked delicious as well. This place is open 24⁄7 and I saw a family camped here awaiting further travel plans. It’s definitely a good late night option if you’re staying somewhere in the immediate vicinity.

I’m not going to sugar coat it, we were pretty wasted and needed food, the bar tender at pub 1 let us know that this place was open till 3am and that right there sold us. This place is literally a counter and grill but the food is yummy. We ordered a cheese burger, Cuban sandwich and veggie sandwich, everything was really good except the Cuban, we could’ve done without it. The cheeseburger was so good we ordered another one to split.

Got their Cuban. It is pretty much just a convenience store sandwich with crappy ham cold cuts, a couple slices of processed cheese, a thin slice of pork, and a white bread roll. There is really nothing special about this sandwich except that at least it’s only $ 5. I’d avoid this place. I’m fairly upset they have the gall to put«Miami’s best Cuban» on the door.

Places like this are one of the reasons I love Miami. Small, on a corner in downtown Miami, is the perfect place to grab a quick bite, midnight craving, or hangover cure. They’re open 24 hours and serve sandwiches and Cuban pastries, as well as shakes, among other things. I had the Swiss cheese grilled cheese, which was huge, served perfectly toasted on Cuban bread, and fries, with a bottle of water. The man at the counter who took my order was friendly, professional, and spoke English(something that I value, as I don’t speak Spanish, but is rare at places like these). The cook was very quick, having my food ready in less than 5 minutes. It was cheap(got all of it for under 10 dollars, and the sandwich was practically the size of a footlong sub!) Yet not overcooked and burned like it often is at places like this. Don’t expect a 5 star restaurant and you will not be dissapointed.

Pretty good for late night cheap eats… papillon steak or fried chicken dinner wasn’t bad after a long day in office… their burger isn’t too bad either considering it’s slightly better than fast food. Cash only… so if u want a late night snack this isn’t a bad place to stop at… not much seating but they do serve alcohol with food purchase for eat in only.

Found the place on Unilocal late night while staying downtown in Miami, so of course I had to check it out. It’s definitely a corner store dive with about 10 pull up seats on a counter. Specials were steak sandwich or cuban sandwich. We both had the steak sandwiches which are thin meat pieces that they put on the grill.(I’ve never seen steak that looks like this, but whatever it’s 3−4am) It only took 5 mins for the food to be ready. We ate in the car so it was HOT! The sandwhich comes with potato chips or thin fries on it.(Not something I liked) Initially it was good, but then seemed to be bitter tasting after the 3rd or 4th bite. Idk what this sour taste was but I ended up swallowing half the sandwhich whole just to get it over with. Lolbs My husband said his was delicious. He loved it. I was indifferent honestly. I’d probably never eat that sandwhich from them again. I would try a different meal. PLEASENOTETHEREAREHOMELESSPEOPLEALLOVERTHEJOINT!!! BEAWARE

Come for the quick service… stay for the wonderful experience that is watching hungover tourists stumble their way through a Cuban sandwich! This is easily the most convenient place to get a quick bite in Downtown Miami. This cafeteria is centrally located in the heart of the CBD and is open 24 hours to meet your round-the-clock munching needs. The super burger is my go-to late night snack and the omelette sandwich on Cuban bread is a suitable hangover cure. Your meal can be paired with anything from a cortadito to a freshly squeezed OJ. Do: Bring cash. Credit not accepted. Don’t: Act surprised when an inebriated homeless person lovingly stares at your croqueta de jamon from the sidewalk.

It’s open 24⁄7 and since Miami seems to be a place where sleep may not be the top priority, this place came in handy for a late night flight when you are hungry and not much is open. They have a open store front, very good service and has a straight forward menu. There was a few people sleeping on the ground across the street to make the scene a little more interesting. The prices are very cheap, can’t beat them! Ingot the Cuban sandwich, it was just okay. Didn’t wow me with a ton of flavor but it was worth the price. Their hot sauce was very good. If you need food at anytime of the day they can hook you up.

I live across the street, so this is a staple. Order the breakfast sandwich(Pan con Tortilla) with everything and thank me later. This place is open 24⁄7 but your only downside is that is a cash only business and the ATM in their store has a high service fee. Go get that sandwich… do it… do it.

This is a convenient 24 hour Cuban café located in downtown. The staff is friendly and the service is great. My first night there I was completely sloshed and most of the night was a blur but I do remember having these amazing chicken wings(they made quite the impression). I went back a few days after that and had the best pan con tortilla I’ve ever had. Their shakes are also amazing, specially if made by Alegria. Everything on their menu is delicious. I haven’t stopped going back since.

I LOVEIT! Its so authentic and cheap! I seriously loved their beef empanadas, guava pastries, fresh OJ and cuban coffee! It was on my mind all day every day of the trip! LOL Tried their omelette sandwich= BOMB Cuban sandwich it was good but my bread was a bit too hard compare to my other friends breads. which i was pretty sad. Definitely a place to try! Totally a hole in the wall but its so good! It’s also cash only and open 24 hours!

I expected Empanadas to be amazing in Miami but, nowhere to be found! Although I was consuming this after too much alcohol at UMF, I judge an empanada by its doughy deliciousness. However, wasn’t achieved in M&R’s Chicken Empanada. The filling was also a little too salty for my liking. However, it was late & cheap + super poppin’…so something must be good here.

Cute little cuban café on the corner block in downtown miami that is open 24/7, perfect for all you cruise travelers who arrive early in miami and wanna grab a quick bit… limited seating and it’s only table top seating with only 8 or 10 chairs… it’s not enclosed so don’t expect A/C Food was pretty cheap like $ 5 for a Cuban sandwich, excellent food and I loved the mamey shake

5-star all the way. I came here around midnight and the place was still packed. Fun nights with fun people come here. Great spot for authentic Cuban food and of course Cortaditos! Once again I had to pick up a couple here so for $ 3.50 I had two. Once again the Cortaditos here are consistent and gave the same flavor from Havana Tea. I def recommend people coming here for Cortaditos too! But make sure to bring cash because it’s cash only

Up late? Up early? On a budget? Lots of stuff here under 10 $ There’s even bites to eat under 5 $. Well to be more frank with you there’s even bites for 1 $ and in downtown that’s scarce. Quality of the food is street café par maybe a little less. What you have to understand what makes this place good is the conveniance of it and that it is 24 hours. What’s great ofcourse is the contrast of the prices here and other places in downtown. Another perk is that they have beer too, 2 dollar domestics and 3 dollar imports too which is nice.

For the love of food. Feel like I am at home in moms kitchen, and that in itself is a great feeling. Good mix of what I would find at home too. Beer with food, shakes, papaya, banana, among the varieties, fresh oj, pastries, hamburgers, steak and other sandwiches of all sorts. International soda brands, fountain drinks. Pretty much anything you need. Not fancy, but pretty perfect taste and price. Small open space café, about 6 bar seating spaces. Places gets crowded but the crew working here hustles when the peeps show up to get their eats on! Less than $ 7 for great café con leche + steak sandwich. Best place to grab food 24 hours in downtown Miami. Tons of Cuban coffee options all less than $ 2 and strong! Cash only. ATM inside though.

I luvvvv this joint Manolo and Rene es mi vida.
