MAPS Backlot

I’m a photographer and have done shoots on the backlot. It’s a great location, interesting surroundings, big space, and all the necessary facilities. A small indoor area but a great outdoor lot with places to sit, stand, and dance. A lot of interesting corners and a built in service bar with a second floor observation area. Walled in for your privacy and easily controlled entrances. And the nicest people to work with.

5 stars for MAPS production house! I recently had my wedding at Backlot in Wywnood, what a beautiful and unique space. If you are looking to host an event here I highly recommend anything MAPS! Their team is a breeze to work with and they are willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfection!

The Backlot is a 10,500 square foot studio and event space located in the Wynwood Arts District… fits just perfectly for this all around artsy neighborhood.
What a dope spot to see a show! A venue that lent itself to an amazing night of Kaskade Redux style during this past weekend’s MMW/​Ultra and it was perfection.
The weather was perfect; breezy, and relaxing. The backdrop of the venue felt like a backyard party for just a few of my close friends; intimate yet grand. They set the stage to the left side and the sound was great. There was tons of room to chill on the side and in the back near the bars but I was center of the dance floor all night and the dance floor was sturdy and large, appreciated that. There is a back area where they setup the merch booth and the port-​o-​potties, completely separate from the main event, which I appreciated greatly.
I really hope to check out more shows here! Fabulous venue.

Wynwood is a hip neighborhood in Miami that has many hidden gems and industrial lots. MAPS is no different. I attended a private event at MAPS on a Saturday night and it had a very cool vibe will the outdoor concrete and slopped walls like a halfpike. Though, I should warn you now, they really discourage you from wearing Heelies and riding up the walls, especially when an open bar is involved.

This place was great, went to a Wyclef Jean event and the venue did not fail to disappoint. A lot of space, nice environment, cool bar, and a big stage. Not to mention there is a room on the side that can be filled up for people to chill in. The place is used for private events, photoshoots, and more. Has a wooden gate that gets closed to allow for privacy. Awesome spot!
