I have been buying Jag and Benz parts on line and from Tom’s Auto or Land Auto or even DAP in Tampa let alone all of the dealers on Ebay. Every few years we make the mistake of going back to this place, figuring, lets help the local shops
Although they have a mountain of rotting inventory of Jag and Benz parts at Martinito, the owner, Sharon, cant seem to avoid over charging by playing bait and switch. Today was no different. Sure its’ a world of «buyer beware», and in this case, the buyer BETTER BEWARE. I was quoted $ 80 for a part on Saturday because their mechanic said he had to disassemble part of the engine to get to this minor part. I was told to come back today at 330 or 4pm, which I did…, and when I went to get it, of course it was now $ 160. The mechanic told me one thing, and Sharon/​owner, of course took the oppty to jack up the price. The actual part was actually less of a hassle to take out than what the mechanic first thought! No issue for Sharon! When I tried to talk to her, she became rabid, raising her voice and became dismissive and downright abusive.
So if your looking to get hassled, go to Martinito. You wont be disappointed. Ask for Sharon
