This year’s Miami Project and its companion Art on Paper showcased some really good works. Rather than writing about it, it is probably best to see what I’m talking about. The standout galleries/artists for me were The Digital Art Gallery’s(Montréal) showcase of Paul-Emile Rioux( ), and the the photography of Mark Hogancamp( ) curated by the Allouche Gallery in New York. Compared to the Art Basel/Design Miami event, this was a «Satellite» event, which is smaller, less«commercial,» and intended to allow for more interactions. While it was still about moving product, one was not made to feel less important for not having flown in on a private jet. Overall, the 2015 event was extremely well-organized, and the quality of the work was solid.

My personal favorite satellite show. More to write once I get home. If there is only one, check Miami Project.
