Best Idea EVER!!! I am literally at a participating restaurant now (Red the Steakhouse). One of my favorite restaurants in Miami!
Miami Spice allows people to eat the higher end restaurants in Miami for a reasonable price in order to drum up more business in the slower season. For $ 35-​$ 45 per person you get an apatizer, entrée, and desert at the best restaurants around! At Red the Steakhouse, I literally ran into Dwayne Wade (I was tipsy and walking to our table from the bar… bumped into him and almost said something.. But noticed who I ran into), these are high end places. Definitely recommend people keep an eye out and look up Miami Spice participating restaurants during August and September each year. Enjoy !

I look forward to this every year! Ok, I’ve only been living in Miami for almost 3 years but this deal is something you shouldn’t miss! During August and September, they have a 3-​course lunch or dinner at Miami’s top fine and luxury dining restaurants and for lunches it is $ 19 or $ 23, and Dinners $ 33 or $ 39.

Grab a friend and your appetite for another one of South Florida’s mouth-​watering restaurant promotion events but this year, foodies all over South Florida will have to choose from a new double dining deal for the annual Miami Spice Restaurant Program.
In its 11^th year, the Miami Spice program is getting a new look with two levels of fixed-​price menus. Restaurants fall into either a luxury or fine-​dining category designed to offer Miami Spice fans with more diverse and wide-​ranging dining options.
Luxury restaurants are offering three-​course prix-​fixe lunches for $ 23 per person and dinner runs $ 39 per person which is up slightly over last year.
Fine dining restaurants feature lunch menus at $ 19 and $ 33 for dinner.
Last year more than 140 restaurants participated; with the new price category, that total is expected to reach closer to 180 or 200 restaurants.
Miami Spice begins August 1^st and runs for two months until September 30^th.

AS a Miami Local I have the privledge to take part in this amazing event.
All of the $$$$ restaurants have a $ 25 for lunch or $ 35 for dinner pre fixed menu.
Pros:
This gives you the abilitiy to try upscale place without the upscale prices.
Comes with appetizer, main course and dessert. I defineltly think it is worth trying out new places and new types of food.
The prices are probaly more than half off so If you want to save money come!
Some places even have wine pairing deals with your food.
Cons:
Wait staff might give worse service because of the discounted menu.
Limited menu options (but def worth trying a new place!)
