Ate chicken Frances! Delicious great food. I have been coming here on and off for years since high school! Food overall is amazing and the atmosphere inside is great! Fantastic restaurant! Décor is nice! Oh! Ordered a pizza to go! I’m sure that it will be delicious as always!

This place rocks it’s been here for 25 years and there is a reason for that… I used to come here in the early 2000’s and it was great. I just recently moved to the areas and figured I’d check them out so I had them cater Mother’s Day. The service was great and the food phenomenal!!! Every one loved the food and kept asking where it was from. The garlic rolls are insane!!! Keep up the great work guys.

I’ve been to Mike’s several times over the years, today I visited after a chiropractic appointment next door.
I opted for a personal pizza from lunch special, a Cesar salad and a small Pepsi. The pizza was ok, just a bit undercooked for my taste, this was large enough to feed me, four year old and have three slices left over. The garlic rolls that came with pizza were extremely overpowering. Cesar salad was pretty good.
Service was outstanding… wish I could remember her name but between hungry toddler and crying newborn it is all a blur. Server was very sweet and quick.

This is my favorite pizza, I get tomatoe and basil. I love that the sauce is NOT sweet. I’ve also had the spinach salad with chicken and the chicken parm. Both very good as well. As for deserts my husband love ms the lemon cake and I love the tiramisu. If you plan to order keep in mind it will take about an hour. If you pick up they are very nice and friendly.

Even though I love coming here on a weekly basis this last time we ordered from here there was a little wire my coworker almost ate. She got a little worried but she still finished her food.

I love this place!!! Awesome rolls and pizza but the last two times I have gone the service has been terrible. I just had a cold pizza and I was waiting for a good 30 mins before they even took my order. I complained when I saw they served the table next to me and I was there way before!!! I love the food but it will be the last time I eat there at least for now in the dining room.

For sure this place lives up to the NY style of pizza joints it is modeled after. While I may be partial to pizza from Southern New England this place is the real deal. Slices are great, menu is all that you would expect. Service is efficient and NY style! Prices are totally reasonable. Check it out. Mangia, mangia …

Good New York style pizza at a reasonable price. My girlfriend had pepperoni pizza which was tasty and i had the chicken francese. It was good but a little too lemony for my taste, they’re garlic rolls were amazing though. The service was very good ave the staff was very attentive.
I will be back if im craving pizza in this area.

Friday night I decided to take my wife to a place we have not gone to being a new resident in Kendal area, we go to Mikes for dinner. Expecting great service and a great meal, great experience all around from Mikes. We order drinks, bread, and a slice of pizza to share as we wait for our meal. I see the waiter from the table next to us give the lady the wrong plate as her family gets there dinner. She decides to start cutting into my chicken parm, as she is few bites into it she gets her chicken parm that she had ordered. My chicken goes back to the kitchen and I was told it’ll be few mins as the chef cooks my dinner, so I thought. Few mins later I get my meal and notice how small it is and I move the melted cheese from the chicken and realize that the meal that the person right next to me was eating was being served to me just on a new plate and re-​heated with cheese to cover up what was cut. I WAS SO UPSET YOU HAVE NO IDEA!!! the bs I’m sorries and we take it off your bill let us redo it (still charged it). My wife lost her appetite, I was upset, terrible dinner experience. I told the waiter FIRST AND LAST TIME I GO TO MIKES.
Who knows where your meal has been before it makes it out to your table.

They overcharged me $ 1.87 on my order, and I pointed out the fact. I was refunded $ 0.75 for my trouble instead of the full amount. Well, the tip would have been 4 times what they got out of me, so in the end I came out ahead. To be fair, their pizzas are rather good, but… Not nearly as good as to justify such behavior. Congratulations, you lost a customer forever over a buck and change.
A little update is due…
When I went to pick up my order they had not even started making the pizzas. So I asked for my money back, which is reasonable I think. The person that handled the transaction told me «to never come back.» What, did he think I wanted to?

Do not order delivery from Mike’s Pizza. It has always been slow and the pizza cold, but tonight was an all time low. Ordered a pie at 7:15 and at 9:30 it still has not arrived. When called about the arrival delay they laugh. Great customer service. If there were negative stars, I would choose them.

A word to the wise: Save yourself from overspending for bad quality, and go someplace else.
We ordered food for takeout, since we live just down the street. I should’ve been more cautious when I saw their 3.5 stars, but I decided to give them a chance anyways. We ordered penne pasta with vodka sauce and grilled chicken, chicken Marsala with spaghetti, and a side of Caesar salad and minestrone soup. I think it came out to 38 $. We didn’t even make a dent in our plates, because the food was so disappointing.
One thing I can say positively about this place is that their portion sizes seem to be fairly large. (Although, on second thought, is that really a positive thing when the food is bad?)
Both pasta dishes tasted very ‘off’. The vodka sauce was bland, and a lot of the penne was hard, almost as if it wasn’t fully cooked. The grilled chicken seemed to be mediocre quality too, since I kept biting into veiny pieces (yuck!). The chicken Marsala didn’t even taste like Marsala! It was bland beyond belief, and the spaghetti was very firm, but slimy at the same time…
The only thing that we actually ate was their minestrone soup that came as a side. (I could’ve saved 40 $ and just warmed up a can of Progresso from the pantry.)
The girl at the take out counter was taking a personal call while we picked up the food, which I guess should’ve been a warning sign to us.
Looks like we’re still on the hunt for a good local pasta place!

One of my favorite pepperoni pizza in Miami. Love the taste and the cheese. So good once it hits your lips. Would recommend to anyone. Only second behind Amicis in Miami.

Great garlic rolls. Homey atmosphere. Place is always busy. Great family restaurant. Devoured my chicken franchise. Teen friend devoured his veal parmigiana. Daughter’s baked ziti was so hot it was dangerous to eat. Had to plate it in a larger plate to cool. Otherwise, our service was good. Very attentive & quick.

My wife and I had a fantastic dinner. Chicken Parmegiana and Veal Parmegiana both were excellent. The service was great and very friendly, too.
Good thing we went on a Wednesday because we were told that it gets very crowded on the weekends.

This is the go to place when you are in the mood for traditional Italian food. This restaurant is close to my job and every time we are in the mood for Italian. Their pizza it’s amazing and they are very generous with the meat portions. My absolute favorite is the Baked Chicken Alfredo pasta. My favorite dessert is their chocolate cake.
They are usually really busy for lunch so I advise you call in advance to make your order. They have delivery options or you can also pass by to pick up your order.

Pizza is good BUT their service SUCK!

I do not recommend this restaurant to parties of more than 6 people. The service is very slow, it took 50 minutes to get a slice of pizza and some pasta.
We arrived at the restaurant right before the 6 o’clock rush. Most of the tables were empty or finishing their food. The waitresses were conjugated in the back area. We waited 10 minutes for menus and another 10 minutes for drinks.
As I was waiting for our food, I decided to review the Unilocal comments and found that in the past couple of weeks there were several complaints about the service and wait time.

I didn’t expect to have to wait to be seated at this place; however, we ended up waiting about 25 minutes. I wanted to try a mama n papas type of restaurant instead of going to a franchise. We started with the pasta n Fagoli soup, I know that all restaurants have their own recipe but I wasn’t crazy about this one, sad to say. The fried calamari was ok, it lacked a little bit of salt for my taste. I ordered the chicken picatta which the size proportion was good but again I have had better. My husband ordered the lasagna and it looked good. My kids had personal pizzas which they enjoyed the taste. The service was good too.
I found the meal to be on the pricey side. We had no wine and no desserts and yet almost $ 100.00 which I don’t mind paying if I had been completely satisfied.
Obviously it’s a restaurant that is visited often by locals as I saw the waiters interact with their patrons as if they known each other for a while.
I would recommend checking it out for yourselves. I am just very picky.
