Milys Place Laundromat

Its ok if the people working there would keep in mind that this is a laundry that you wash your clothes to get them clean, but it does not help when they start cleaning the air vents right above where you are folding your clothes after you have washed them and all the dirt and dust just falls on you and your clothes. REALLY!!! These people are just clueless. .
But it would help if they would wait until the place is less busy

I was pleasantly surprised with this laundromat… It looks quite small from the outside and because it’s in coral gables, I figured it would be a bit more expensive but it was actually pretty cheap compared to others.
Prices:
small load is $ 2.75
medium load $ 3.75
large is $ 5.25
extra large 6.75
Extra extra large $ 8.25 (they only have one machine)
Dryers are $ 0.25
The machines are all new and very clean… although the place didn’t have air conditioning it wasn’t hot, they have fans throughout the location which keeps the room nice and cool.
Cons: the bathroom had no soap or paper towels. I asked the attendant why they didn’t have soap in the bathroom and she said they just don’t put any. However, she kindly gave me some from behind the counter. If you’re like me, i need to clean my folding station before I start folding and I couldn’t because they didn’t have paper towels:/ I went next door to 711 to get disinfecting wipes. But then again I’m a germaphobe.

Update:10/1/15. I went the other day and I usually don’t look at the washing machine after I put the quarters but i did this time. Anyway, I noticed that the machine wasn’t making bubbles so I added more detergent and nothing. I had to wash the load twice and it’s the machines, I guess they control the amount of water in the machine and it’s wayyyy too little water in the machine to clean your clothes correctly. It’s my last time coming here. I wasn’t the only person complaining about this issue, go somewhere else!

Excellent location very convenient to wash clothes, reasonable prices compared to other places of laundry, since they opened’ve been washing my clothes there, and at first the owners were there, and employees helped you since you were arriving you cleaned the dryer super attentive, those tired stand for what little they pay are gone, and they have now are bitter and greet customers especially young male who collects money from the machines, imagine me not to be there, passes by the side of customers and as if there was no one there and look at you, I stand badly that for business, also high volume radio awful go there.

It’s a good place to do the laundry, it’s clean, it have several machines and wifi. There’s also a parking lot and street parking nearby.
The 7 – 11 next to the laundry is pretty handy.
The only downside that I see is that it can get way too overcrowded sometimes so you have to choose wisely your time to go.
It’s a well kept place, not like other laundries I have been.

If you choose to do your own laundry the place is all right. Although, there are dryers that don’t work at times and they refuse to return your money. Luckily, it’s very cheap. Now on to dropping off your laundry… It actually comes back with stains. Wouldn’t recommend it!
