Miro’s Watch Repair

Carlos @ Miro’s fixed my Brera Watch in about 5 minutes. While he was working he gave a little history of the watch and tips and how to keep it looking good and working well for years to come.
His rates were much more reasonable than other repair shops in the neighborhood.
I was so impressed I am going to bring him my Tissot for a minor repair this week.

I couldn’t figure out how to change the date and time on my diver’s watch, so I went back to Miro’s Watch Repair for assistance. Once again, Señor Miro was gracious, friendly, and extremely helpful. I tried to pay for his services, but he said it was minor and he would not charge for it. I have taken several antique watches to this shop and Mr. Miro always gets them just right. He has cleaned them, removed scratches, and fixed watches that other places couldn’t fix. This is the place to go.

My Hermes watch stopped working out of the blue, and it’s unfortunately out of warranty, so I could either ship it to Paris to get fixed (it would take months) or get it fixed in Miami. I nervously took it to Miro’s watch repair to see if he could quickly identify what was wrong with it and to determine if this was an easy fix, or if I should maybe just send it to Paris. When I walked in, Miro stopped what he was doing, and came over to help me. After diagnosing my watch, he identified that the electrical board had gone bad, and mentioned it probably needed to get cleaned (the watch is 4 years old and had never been cleaned before). Overall, he was really nice, great customer service!
He quoted me $ 200, which I know is a bit pricey, but at the same time, I was more than willing to pay more and know my watch was in good hands! He said the watch would be ready in 5 – 10 business days. I dropped it off on a Tuesday morning, and that Friday morning I got the call from him indicating that it was ready for pick up. I’m really happy with the service and will definitely come back if I have any other issues with any of my other watches!
Things to note: Parking is a pain downtown, I took the metro mover and got off at Govt Center which is only 3 blocks away
He only takes cash — no checks or credit cards!

Superior Job, excellent service and a level of craftsmanship that really impress.

My Rolex looks better that new, and a 1904 pocket wash given by my father has now a better performance than ever, after more that 20 years of now working.
