Ok, so I’m updating my review after receiving a call from their CEO. Perhaps my original review was somewhat harsh due to my frustration towards a particular employee. I have to say I give Tim major credit for reaching out, offering an apology and making sure we were on the same page.

Warning !, Buyer beware!!! My husband and I moved down to Florida 2 years ago and were excited to start over furnishing and decorating our new home. We purchased several pieces of furniture from MH2Go. One of them was a new leather bed, which is actually vinyl. Which was not a problem. It was delivered set up and looked beautiful. Fast forward to now two years later the corners of the foot board are totally pealing and disintegrating. We went back to the store in Ft. Lauderdale with photos. They said the bed was discontinued, and is no longer under their 1 year warranty, however they thought they still had one in their warehouse. They got back to me and said they would give me the new bed, but I would have to pay approximately $ 400.00. Which was ½ of what the original cost of $ 800.00. We have no pets and children are grown do not live with us. It is obviously an inferior product. How could they not stand by their products.

Buyer beware. I have never posted a review on Unilocal before, however, after my experience at this store, I had to post. My wife and I purchased several thousands of dollars worth of furniture including artwork for our living room. After paying for the furniture, I was called that night by the salesman explaining that the painting we purchased would have to be ordered, that they did not have it in stock as I was told at the time of purchase. No big deal. He told me it would take 3 – 4 weeks to be delivered. 5 weeks later we still had not heard anything. My wife followed up with the salesman who stated it was on the truck and should be in that week. He stated he would call later that day to give her an update. No call back so my wife called the next day. He promised he would again call her right back and never responded. I called a week later and he told me the same thing — let me check on it and I will get back to you today. He never returned my call. Finally, I tried calling the next 2 days to speak with a manager and every time I called I was told that they were not available. I finally got so fed up that I cancelled my order for the painting. Finally I even went on their website to complain about the horrible customer service. I received an automated email that someone would respond and 3 weeks later still have not heard a response. Even though their prices are reasonable, I would never shop here and want others to be wary when dealing with this business. While I understand that there are delays in shipping that salespeople have no control over, lying several times to a customer is unacceptable and not the way to do business.

OK, I’m updating my review after receiving the dresser. One of the owners contacted me and was very nice explaining the issues they had at the time with my delivery. The dresser arrived(after a long time) and the quality is very good, it’s a very nice piece of furniture and looks great in my room — — — — I purchased a dresser online after seeing the display at the store, as it was not in stock at the time, and the item was supposed to arrived within 5 weeks. The dresser arrived in customs late generating a total expected delay of more than 2 weeks(which could be understandable) but the customer service and answers provided were very disappointing. The company never reach out to let me know about the delay and after I call them to track the status of the order they called me back argumentation that orders created online get lost frequently but«the good news is that they still have one dresser reserved for me» like having an item reserved after paying in full is not common. I hope the dresses will arrive soon but I remain cautious as they also mentioned they have been very busy with sales and deliveries lately when I believe this order should be treated with priority as it was issued many days ago This in not the first item I buy from them as their products are usually of good quality but after this experience is unlikely I will go back

I’ve bought furniture from them in two(separate) occasions, and the quality is superb. It’s pretty difficult in Miami to find a furniture store with a great variety that has good price and not super expensive. I bought an small patio set almost two years ago, and I still get compliments about it. A couple of month ago I bought some tables for living room, they look amazing. The best part is I don’t see my furniture all over the place, and everything looks new, like if I just got it.

Ok, I’m updating my first review! After posting the first review(below), the owner of MH2G reached out and apologized for the lack of customer service. Tim offered to refund the cost of the patio umbrella, explaining that other customers had the same issue and the product is no longer in their inventory. I received a full refund in the mail a few days later. Thank you, Tim, for taking the time to make the situation right and regain my confidence in MH2G. I will definitely give this company a 2nd chance now knowing they stand behind their products. … previous review as follows… ALSOVERYDISAPPOINTED! Last year I spent thousands of dollars on patio furniture from this company. I have also referred several clients and friends to this company. One year later, the umbrella I purchased from MH2Go would not open. I had only used it a handful of times. I called the company and was told it was out of warranty(really, exactly one year later??) and they no longer carried that product. Know that if you purchase items from this company the risk is all yours. I will be sending my referrals elsewhere.

VERYDISAPPOINTING. I had just finished buying a dining room table, 4 chairs, and 2 lamps with Modern Home 2 Go and requested a return on just one of the lamps because it didn’t work for my space. Not only would the owner not issue me a refund, but she also refused to issue me a store credit. When I asked the reasoning, the sales associate(who had the owner on the phone), stated that because the lamp was special ordered, they would have to pay for shipping. This was not a giant lamp; in fact, the size of the package was about 11×11 and light. I doubt the shipping would have exceeded $ 30. I had just finished spending over $ 1800 and was preparing to furnish the rest of my home with them! I then offered to pay for the shipping and have it deducted from my credit, the associate shook her head no and grinned. I’m in luxury sales in Miami Beach and have never treated a client with such little regard. I will never shop at Modern Home 2 Go again and will inform as many people as possible of my negative experience.
