The food was good. I got good service at the front but when I was paying the machine asks«how much tip would you like to give?» Ex. $ 10 –Good Service and so on. While I was choosing one the lady that was attending to me was staring at the screen to see what tip I would give her. I gave her good service but I felt pressured. Other than that the food was good and the fried oreos! I wish she would have asked us if we wanted the Oreos now or after we finished eating. They brought them together and we had to put napkins over the Oreos so they wouldn’t get cold. Also, the owners were there sitting in another table and didn’t even ask how everything was. Other than the okay-ish service the food was good.

I wanted something better than Taco Bell. I heard this place was good but of course it was a horrible hot mess. Food was really greasy and that old oil smell that makes you nauseous. The music, food and décor is definitely for someone who is too drunk to notice or care. I’m glad there is a CVS near by!!!

Great food, great price, great service Love that you can cheat or eat healthy with the most delicious choices! Great quality for their prices, you can’t leave without trying their fried Oreos, cheese empanadas and quesadillas they are my favorite and if your looking for a healthy choice definitely try their grilled tilapia avocado salad or their churrasco steak my favorite !

I have no clue how this place is rated so high. Be warned this is overpriced mediocre food. There is literally no reason to eat here. It’s not cheap, the food is whatever, and the atmosphere is ghost like.

I love this place. Their fried Oreos and chicken quesadillas are delicious!!! The food is very similar to Los Verdes but I actually like their quesadillas better. They have so many things on their menu and the best part is that it’s super affordable! Can’t wait to go back.

I literally just came for the fried oreos. They only give you two in an order so that was a bit disappointing but they were AMAZING.

This place is fantastic! If you’re an FIU student or just live in the area, or even enjoy the idea of food in general, you should really give this place your time and money. Not to be confused with Moe’s Mexican Grill at all, this place is a Venezuelan fast food bite. I wanna start with the Free Fried Oreo’s that you can check out above this review. They say you need to print out the coupon, but I decided to show the Coupon through my phone instead. The cashier was nice enough to accept it. Awesome! They were delicious too! I ordered a Frita Burger with Sweet Potato Fries on the side. There’s a refrigerator by the soda machine where you literally have to open up the fridge door and pour your sauces from the fridge. This is a unique and funny idea, and it keeps the condiments fresh! The Pineapple Sauce was a perfect mix with the Sweet Potato Fries, which is tasty on it’s own, and the Frita Burger was excellent. Closer to my house, There was once a food truck at a Westar Gas Station on 8th Street every night, and it’s still there. It serves the best Venezuelan food on the go, and I loved going to it. But Moe’z Express is going to be my backup for whenever that truck is not around. It might even be my primary place instead.

I must say the cashier was pretty careless. Can you believe that the National Geographic channel was on TV, and as my food was served, animals were mating erotically on screen? Gross. I should try food + sex though.

Greasy, fried, fatty, diabetes goodness! Oh geez. I had to try this place. All the FIU folk gotta partake. It’s been years since the ‘fried oreo’ was trendy and I had to admit… I never actually tried one until now. Oh good lord, what else have I been missing out on?! The food at Moe’z is pretty expansive: tacos, hot dogs, quesadillas, salads, steak, fried oreos, french fries, etc. etc. etc. Practically everything you need to gain 10lbs after one meal. There are a few healthy options, but why try? I got the quesadilla and was a little skeptical when I saw the picture of it loaded up with crumbled potatoes chips and three different types of sauces. Then the cashier mentioned one of the sauces was pineapple-based, so I opted to have the sauces on the side since I’m not a fan of pineapple sugar sauce… Needless to say, I’m happy I made this choice. My friends who joined, ordered the same thing as-is and they didn’t seem to be too pleased. The fried oreos were heaven; some kinda crazy merge between a donut and oreo, dipped in condensed milk. How can one go wrong? Loss of stars for this review is primarily due to the oddness in the construction of the food. I left the sauces out of my meal and it seemed to be basic and boring without it — how does a standard chicken quesadilla make sense with crumbled potato chips on top? Had I gotten the sauces, I wouldn’t have been happy because my crispy taco would’ve been drowned and soggy… something’s gotta give. Make sure you mention the free fried oreos on the Unilocal page so they’ll honor the special! Don’t expect the full mother-load of five, fried balls — the freebie order only gives you two!

Started off on the wrong foot with being forced to buy a bottle of water/soda since they don’t give cups of water. Very very very poor restaurant practice in my eyes. It almost broke the deal for me but I decided to try the food anyway. Urgh! I was having a hard time picking something to get because the prices were a bit higher than I expected. $ 15 for churrasco at a fast food joint? You’re kidding me. I got the chicken maicitos. They were ok, really not too good. Two free fried Oreos were good, that’s why I added a star. All four TVs were playing a very graphic show about animals mating. Yes, I had to watch every possible animal on the planet — Dolphins, monkeys, wolves, snakes, bees, bugs — mate while I ate. We pointed it out to the employee but they didn’t bother to change the channel. Gross!!! FIUID gives you 10% off. Still, not going back.

I came in Saturday night with my best friend to pick up carry out. Let’s just say the girl at register wasn’t at all nice to her coworker handling to-gos and that left an impression on me. She was not all that friendly, still I understand that it was towards the end of the night, it was my first time there and a smile would’ve been comforting. The food is amazing!!! The churrasco was perfectly seasoned, the fried Oreos are insane, and the queso frito burger that my bestie and I shared was flavorful, crunchy and the fried cheese, although really greasy, is a great change to our everyday burgers. This place also has an extensive menu with great options to choose from. I highly recommend this place for the food alone! If by any reason it doesn’t change my star rating to 4, I’ve edited this thing three times. :/

I go to this restaurant ALOT. This is actually the second location and when I found out they opened up right next to my work I was stoked. I’ve been going to the other location for nearly 2 years. I have a big family and when I order I order for everyone. The reason I’m giving this place 5 stars is because the food is good, the prices are reasonable, and the boss really won me over. As with any new business(opening of the second location) you gotta hire some wet behind the ears employees and train them. Well the guys messed up my orders pretty good at first, I spoke to the boss and it was obvious a good reputation was important to him so he immediately corrected the situation, offered to comp my meal, and even gave me his phone number should any future concerns should arise. That’s how customer service should be done! I feel when I go to Moez now it will be money well spent.

After hearing so much rave about Moe’z Express I had to come check it out for myself. & I was definitely happy I finally tried this little gem. I had a chop with carnitas, brown rice, black beans, maduros & Queso frito. The sauce for the Queso frito was so good. It had a nice fire kick to it. The boyfriend had the churrasco with moro and tostones. Super yumm as well. The location is easy to find and it’s fairly big inside. The cashier Jenn was nice and patient with us since we weren’t sure what we wanted. Another plus was that the restaurant was clean! I can’t wait to come back and try other menu items.

Fried Oreos !! I might feel like a fatass once I order it but once I take a bite into these delicious fried Oreos I’m in heaven !!! Definitely my preferred cheat meal any day. Been coming to this place for a while after I came in with some friends having finished an intense workout. Since that day it’s been my go to place when I haven’t been able to prepare a healthy meal at home. My boyfriend and I really enjoy their chop chops and I consider them to be well priced. It’s a large portion and overall a healthy choice from a business that is open at extremely convenient hours. I really love this since I’m a late worker and when I leave work there’s barely any viable options for me to get a healthy meal. On a side rant, their avocados are always fresh and somehow perfectly cut. Above all, the owner is a great guy and have had the chance to get great service from him first hand. He is considerate of his regular customers and their opinion. This matters to me greatly because an owner that cares about his customers is the kind of restaurant I want to return to. Great food, great people.

This place is just across from FIU and has good junk food. They also deliver to FIU which is convenient. I ordered a Moe’z Hot Dog and deep fried Oreos. The hot dog was pretty good. The pink sauce and pineapple sauce are of course delicious. The deep fried Oreos are yummy. Greasy which is expected and the leche condensada is a nice touch. The only thing that bugged me was they do not give you a cup of water. They try to have you buy a water bottle. Not that big of a deal but this is why I gave it four stars.

I love this spot! I was a fan of their original location so when they opened a second location right next to my office I was beyond excited! Great fast casual spot with a little bit of everything. burgers, chicken chops, churrasco plates, wings, Colombian style hot dogs, fried Oreos! I never get bored of their menu. My personal favorite is the Maicito Quesadilla. It’s a Colombian style quesadilla with your choice of meat and corn in it. Oh, and it’s open late!
