The waiter brought the steaks before we finished the salads. When the manager asked about our meal, I let her know this. She apologized and offered a free desert. Before we finished our desert, the waiter brought our check. For the amount of money this steakhouse charges, guests should never be rushed. I don’t know if the waiter was being a jerk because I complained, or if he actually lacked the rudimentary intelligence to learn from his first mistake.

Have a little salmon with your butter. Who cooks salmon with an ass load of butter on it? Butter as the main ingredient does not make it for an inventive menu.

Great steaks and wonderful service. Definitely your typical traditional steak house décor. Lots of dark wood and clean colors. Lots of different cuts of meats. Wait staff very familiar with the menu and combinations that work best with pairings.

My husband and I have been faithful Morton customers for over 15 years. Our first date was there, he proposed to me there and we celebrated our anniversary there every year. We notice that the service was diminishing but out of loyalty we continue to patronize them. So my first choice for my birthday dinner with friends was Mortons. We arrived to find that it had under gone a big renovation,(looked like something out the 80’s, yuk) Our drink order took 25 minutes. The pomegranate martin that I was anticipating was small and watered down. Later I learned about a $ 1.00 charge for a sugar rim glass. Lol I can’t stand to be nickeled and dimmed. The 80 + degree inside the restaurant was unbearable. I complained repeatedly to no avail. My husband had to go to the lobby to cool down, The Miami spice menu that you find on line is not the same as the one at the restaurant. Their menu is missing the stuffed shrimp and the crèmebrulee My entrée, the honey chilly glazed salmon was excellent. However, the 6oz filet mignon looked like a 4oz. The ask for $ 10 charge for an upgrade to an 8 oz. None of the other Miami spice participants had that on their menu. Desert, I was looking forward for the crème brulee, but is was not on the menu, so a settled for the keylime pie, which they had run out of. So I ended up with a slice of dry cheese cake. The bill was ridicules, didn’t get the service or the quality of food that would justify the gross amount they charge. No dress code shorts and sandals where abundant among the guest. In conclusion that special feeling that you were in a up scale steakhouse, it is gone! I AMFOREVERBROKENHEART! Will we retune? I don’t know, but I don’t recommend Morton’s to anyone.

Morton’s never disappoints if you’re just looking for a good quality meal. Excellent beef, cooked to perfection and great drinks.

I am a fan of the Landry line of restaurants in general, the Chart House being one of my favorites. So, when I decided to visit Morton’s I had the same high expectations I do of the others and I must say, they did not disappoint. To start I had the Jumbo lump crab cakes and they were just that. Full of big chunks of crab meat and very little filler like most places use. Then I had the Filet Mignon medium and it was perfectly tender and pink with great flavor. Then for dessert was the Key Lime Pie which was also really good, not too tart. I was with four other people who ordered the Baked Five Onion Soup, Lobster Bisque, ½ Dozen Oysters on the Half Shell, Baked Escargot, Cajun Ribeye Steak, Center-Cut Prime Ribeye, Grilled Jumbo Asparagus, Bacon & Onion Macaroni & Cheese(this one was a bit repugnant, I mean it was delicious but not something that I could have more than a couple bites). Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and just to everyone’s liking. Just be prepared for a hefty bill by the end of your meal especially if ordering alcohol.

What can I say? I know exactly what I’m getting when I come to eat here. Excellent food and excellent service. Was recently here for Miami Spice and it couldn’t have been better.

Came here last night and I will say the service here is amazing. It was like«let me have a coca-col» and it was already sitting in front of you. Amazing customer service. Although at first I was a bit skeptical because when I made my reservation the gentleman on the phone was a bit rude and reminded me that we had to be on time otherwise we couldn’t eat because the restaurant would close. But once we got there we were treated great, the food was excellent. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I have eaten better steaks at other high end places but this one was up there with them. The side dishes were by far the best here than any other place! The creamed corn was amazing. And I had one of their drinks«The secret garden» which was a cucumber flavored cocktail and it was delicious. Amazing. Overall I would come back here

I knew this place would be on the pricey side, but my gosh I wasn’t mentally prepared. My father thought the numbers next to the items were order numbers, not prices. But I figured the food must be amazing if they are charging this much. The food was not bad at all, but nothing super impressive. Service was just okay, and the environment was very classy. Took my father for his birthday because I wanted to go somewhere nice that he couldn’t find something to complain about. Once he saw the prices he wouldn’t dare say anything. I didn’t like that the entrees did not come with their own side dishes, but you had to buy sides for the table. That was just odd to me. Even if I wanted to spend as much as I did that day, I wouldn’t go back.

Morton’s has great steaks it’s a very fancy place and very pricy but still worth going to. I’ve had the NY strip and it was pretty amazing. Sometimes the steak would taste a little different but that was because it was a different chef. Overall really nice place!

I can say it’s one of the best restaurants around the area. I’m a red meat lover and I can also say that the portions were enough and cooked exactly for my preference; worth to mention a variety of side dishes which are also good! Btw good customer service, including vallet parking!

The very best in miami. Sorry Coral Gables Location, but, by all means this particular location tops it. I usually get the Ceasar Salad to start off then the six ounce filet mignon(medium), accompanied with the delicious corn bacon side and the garlic mash potatoes, to finish it off, I get the New York Cheese Cake or The Chocolate Lava Cake. I have never gone wrong with anything I have ever ordered, the quality just exudes, the temperature of the food is consistent and the service is truly impeccable. I congratulate you in maintaining such a delicate balance between the quality of the food and the attentive service. I will continue to spend my money happily in this establishment ! See Ya Soon

They have this happy hour deal at the bar for food that is fantastic! You can get mini crab cakes, ahi tuna, steak sliders, wedge salad, etc. for the fraction of the price of the actual restaurant. However, it is not a ton of food. I think each dish is around $ 8 but after 3 if them, I still wasn’t that full. Is worth doing if you want a light, tasty dinner! Call ahead to find out exactly what times they do the food happy hour since it seems to change all of the time.

NPS = 7 I love steaks. If I was on death row, my last meal would definitely include a steak cooked Pittsburgh rare. It would obviously be prime and either a NY strip or ribeye. I was not 100% satisfied with my steak at Morton’s. I would have hated my last meal on Earth(again, if on death row) to have been from Morton’s. I ordered a NY strip and it looked gorgeous. However, there was a lot more of that tough fat on the steak than I would have liked. The service at Morton’s is great. Very attentive and they even walk you to the restroom instead of pointing. You know, the usual white glove treatment. However, when it comes to the actual product itself(I.E. the said steak) I was actually a little disappointed. Particularly because of the price paid, I believe the steak should have been exquisite. But sadly, it was not the best cut of meat that I received. The oysters Rockefeller were great as well as the prawns served as appetizer. For dessert, the chocolate cake is immense and definitely meant to be shared. I would probably be hesitant to return to Morton’s because 1) I really was not 100% satisfied and 2) it’s hard to justify paying such prices if the product does not live up to its name.

Quality in meat Oh my god we cant get enough of the meat! The taste, how tender how juicy! Wow Quality of the dessert Our lava cake was delicious… It’s melting chocolate! What can I say! We haw been coming here for the past 15 years but today was the best just like old times

I really want to give this place 3 ½ stars. I’ve been to plenty of steak houses so it’s going to take a lot to impress me. First off, I must say that the staff is wonderful! My husband and I came here for our anniversary dinner he had planned. It was a sweet gesture when we got our menus it said ‘Happy Anniversary’ up top. The staff was attentive and knowledgable. Although it was a little annoying when one of the staff members came over to take a pick for us while we were in the middle of eating, I was able to by pass it giveth we had no problems with our dinner. Although our food was tasteful I had better. The steak was good but not cooked the way I asked which was medium well and it came out medium. The asparagus was tasteful, but Devon’s Steakhouse is better as well as their crème brûlée. If you’re looking for an overpriced place with«good food», this is not a bad place to visit. If you’re looking for an overpriced place with«great» food, I suggest somewhere else. I don’t think I would visit this place again on my own unless I have another dinner party to go to here.

Parking at Morton’s is $ 10 for Valet, or you can park yourself two blocks down for $ 5. May not sound like much of a difference, but I hate waiting for Valet along with 15 other patrons. At any rate, we ordered the Miami Spice menu, for two. One note on that, no one told us that prix fixe menu was available, we had to ask. I got the Beefsteak Tomato Salad, 8 oz Filet Mignon(paid $ 10 extra for the extra 2 oz) with Mashed Potatoes, and Crème Brûlée. My date got the Caesar Salad, 6 oz Filet Mignon, medium with Broccoli, and the Key Lime pie. All of that, paired with a bottle of 2011 Educated Guess, Cabernet, the bill with 22% tip was 187.00. All that said, the wine was excellent for the price, and it paired nicely with the meal. The steak was absolutely perfect. I don’t know what people are talking about with complaints on the steaks, but those were the best we’ve had all year and we eat steak out at least twice a month. Perfect, medium rare, melted in my mouth. Lastly, don’t go to a place with 4 $$$$ in the description and then complain about the price. The food was great, the service was great, the ambience was ok minus the kids(don’t care for them while eating) — and I’ll definitely be back.

Oh Morton’s, Morton’s, Morton’s… how much I was looking forward to dining with you and how much of a let down you were. We had made reservations for 9:30pm on a Saturday for two. To my surprise, it was not full ATALL. Its a dim-lit, nicely decorated place. I was tempted to tell the host to forget about our table so that I can sit at the bar(I love sitting at bars, don’t know why!). I already know I will be coming back here to sit at the bar for some drinks. I asked for the Miami Spice menu and felt like that made a change as to how the server was treating us. The bread and butter they give you before the meal was good. I ordered the Five Onion Soup– which I was looking forward to and tasted awful. I also ordered the Salmon with Mashed potatoes– salmon was okay, potatoes were good. I ordered the triple chocolate mousse for dessert and it was good but so, so chocolatey to the point that after a few spoons, I felt a bit of nausea. I didn’t really expect it to live up to its name. My friend ordered the Caesar salad– it wasn’t good either. The lettuce leaves tasted bitter and odd. She ordered the 6 oz. filet mignon and mashed potatoes. The filet mignon was good, i wished that I would’ve ordered that. ;-(She ordered for dessert a crème brûlée– it was good, but a bit watery. Throughout the whole night, the server visited us once to take our order and once to give us the food. We were visited more by the guy that was filling up our glasses with water more than anything. We had to ask another server to take a picture of us and she just walked right by instead of maybe saying«No, dont worry, ill take the picture for you.» I doubt i will be coming back here. I even told my friend that the buffalo chicken wings I had aten earlier at Chilis was better than my meal at Morton’s. I think that would say enough. The things that were actually«good» were really nothing out of the ordinary, and I am glad that I ate through the Miami Spice menu and did not pay full price for my meals.
