A great, healthy alternative to fast food. Went to this place last night after an intense workout. Great service, good atmosphere. Definitely going back this week.

There’s nothing particularly healthy abut downing a meatball wrap with hickory BBQ sauce, but if people wanna’ go and call that healthy, then shoot — I’m not hatin’. This is meathead’s paradise, though, and I can see the Jersey origins from the front counter. «Eh, Joey, what time is that Yankee game, moron!?» It was a tough to down the wrap, and I sort of lost my appetite with the pasta salad. I’d recommend going here, but word to the wise, I’d think twice before purchasing a supplement loaded with fermented soy. But yo’, it’s all good, just do you, homie.

Neat concept, interesting menu, no follow through. Staff doesn’t care, food is not very fresh, baked potato was cold with no butter. Eat in or out. For me, Im not eating at all.

Thanks to my co– worker, I obliged and tried this healthy restaurant. I’m usually not the one for restaurants that substitute ingredients in the name of health but hey, I’ll pretty much try anything. I ordered the Tex Mex Fajita wrap with a cucumber salad. The wrap, was a little bland but fulfilling in size and the«cucumber salad» contained just that, lowly cucumbers in, I believe, vinegar with a dash of pepper; so not worth it. My co-worker ordered something a different a wrap, unfortunately I don’t remember what it was with the pasta salad, which he said was pretty tasty. If the mood hits me for a healthy lunch substitute I may consider going back to this place, avoiding of course the cucumber salad.

Nice quiet place. Clean too. Yet, I did not like the food. I wish I had, as I was hungry; but even that did not aid me much to dig in after the first few bites. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Nuggets & Marti Gras Cajun grilled chicken salad. The nuggets were cut like boulders, not«nuggets» as the name would suggest. If they do not serve nuggets they should just rename the thing. The triyaki sauce was at best room temperature. I left two of of the 3 chicken boulders untouched. The salad was not much better. I did not like the barely cooked chicken pieces, and the salsa sauce on top of the salad did not add anything to the bland taste. All and all it was a disappointing experience even for a quick bite. I would give them 1.5 stars at best and not likely to go back.

After hearing raves of this Healthy Fast Food Chain I had to try Muscle Maker Grill. I was in Midtown and saw the name and Had to try it. It does look better than it tastes Ill give it that. They had Guiltless Entrees, Healthy Salads, Muscle Maker Wraps, Power Pasta(Whole Wheat), and they have protein bars and supplements in the store. The Cashier was a pretty girl and she took my order I got the Godfather to go with Steamed Broccoli and my lunch date got the Chicken Cesar to go. We were really in a hurry and I mentioned it a few times to the cashier but it seems they just put the chicken on the Grill and it needed to be cooked. I think we waited 30 mins before it was made. I ate the Chicken outside on the patio table and found the Red Pepper to be watery and not flavorful as with the rest of the dish the Portabella Mushroom and the sauce, reduced fat mozzarella, Gluten and fat-free balsamic vinaigrette all lacking Flavor even after I added Pepper packets to it. I wish it were tastier. Really! I would come back to get a healthy bite but my expectations are way lower now.

#1The AC was broken –it was hotter inside than outside #2. The food was TERRIBLE! My chicken breast platter was not freshly cooked. I asked if it was reheated … He said it was grilled about an hour ago and it was placed in the hot box. He offered to MICROWAVEIT. I feel bad because his intention was good. But in my oppinion… Microwaved chicken breast = RUBBER BF had the Turkey burger and couldn’t eat it. HECANBEHAPPYEATINGROCKS and couldn’t eat this wrap. It came with turkey meatballs. I literally couldn’t eat one of them. The only SOSO item was the grilled Texas chic nugget. They were made from the reheated chicken !! Lol. Except this time they were sautéed in BBQ sauce which made them edible. In conclusion… The staff was really nice and attentive, but the food was awful. I rather get a root canal then to subject myself to that torture ever again. I am asking groupon for a refund

We eat here randomly and seldom. The food is really healthy which usually correlates with bland. This place is always filled with guys. I’ve never really seen girls eat here at all. It’s like«BRO, lets go to muscle maker grill after we hit the gym.» type place. Which is fine, but somewhat weird. The food is good. It’s healthy and not bad. I wouldn’t say I enjoy it a ton, but it does the job. Most of the food they make, I make myself. The service is good and friendly.

This is my review of my lunch. I ordered the teriyaki chicken over brown rice. Please listen, do NOT go here. My food was so salty that it was inedible. The only good thing about it was that the portion was big, but who cares about the portion when the food was inedible! The sauce tasted like it came straight out of a bottle at a big box store. I had the boneless wings for the starter, and that sauce as well(barbque) taste like it came from out of a bottle. There is a difference between something that taste low fat and something that comes from a bottle… ugh it taste cheap and store bought. This was such a huge disappointment. My friends food was also too salty, and just plain nasty. I could have made a better lunch at home. The chicken in both of our dishes had absolutely no flavor. I do not see how this place got any good reviews. On the bright side, the staff was friendly.

Ever go into a restaurant and want to order healthy, so you take your best guess and the food arrives swimming in oil, or you feel sickly full about 10 minutes after eating? That will NOT happen here! The menu contains great descriptions of what exactly comes with each dish, along with the calorie count. They cater to all types of tastes — low carb, low fat, vegetarian, gluten free — everyone’s quirks can be satisfied here! The BF ate here last week and had the special, which was their featured wrap and a soup. He loved that it was high energy and affordable(daily special is something like $ 6 or $ 7). We returned today — he had the featured salad, which contained fat free cheese and leaned ground beef(I think it was the cheeseburger salad, but not sure if that’s the exact name). I had the veggie wrap which came with choice of side. I picked western potatoes, but other options were broccoli, cucumber salad, pasta salad, etc. Vegetarian items are clearly marked as being totally vegetarian — containing NO chicken or beef stock. The food arrived quickly. You order at the counter but they bring the food to your table, which is nice. We really enjoyed the food — it is flavorful without relying on the typical restaurant trifecta of salt, butter and oil. The potatoes were especially zesty! Only two drawbacks — many of the menu items come with their special sauce, which is low or no fat and had a distinctive«taste» to it. It’s not unpleasant, but you can definitely tell something is lurking in your food that is hard to place. Also, the music inside is very loud and not really conducive to enjoying a relaxing meal. We took our plates outside to eat. Oh, I also thought that veggie wrap, at $ 8, was a little overpriced. OTOH, I ate at 1pm and it’s now nearly 6pm and I’m still pretty full, so maybe it’s not really overpriced.

A-ok. That’s what this place gets. And the thing is that someone might take three stars to mean that this place in and of itself is only average, and that’s not the case. At all. Really, this review is going to seem totally unfair, especially when I recall an earlier review in which I said that I prefer to rate a place in relation to what it’s trying to achieve and not some larger paradigm. But some things you just can’t ignore. You see, the problem with healthy eats is that they tend to be bland. I mean, that’s just fact. Low in fat generally means low in flavor. But that’s not a knock on Muscle Maker Grill. That’s a knock on biology. And nature. And really, the entire freaking universe. Yup, That’s what I’ve started doing. Attacking nature. I guess I’m just that guy. Life really is unfair. The reality is, though, when considering how flavorless healthy eats can sometimes be, Muscle Maker Grill totally knocks it out of the park. This place offers a bevy of wraps filled with myriad proteins offered alongside various goodies, all of which are a nice departure from Jared and his five-dollar footlong fixation. Here, you can get grilled chicken that’s ACTUALLY chicken and not just anonymous chicken parts mashed into a fowl mold.(Get it?!) You can get a tasty sauce(the signature sauce) that succeeds in taste without having been made with a gallon of mayonnaise. You can get meatballs and marinara sauce that probably haven’t been sitting in that coagulating little pool of marinara gelatin. And that’s freaking GREAT. Because the reality is that we can all use a break from marbleized steaks and starchy pasta dishes. And really, if such options didn’t exist, then Muscle Maker Grill might be considered a gourmet-type place. But the reality — oh, pesky reality! — is that, in the shops at Midtown(let alone in all of Miami) there are way too many deliciously unhealthy options readily available, and if you’re going to try and compare a grilled chicken wrap at Muscle Maker Grill with a palomilla steak with a side of moros and fried plantains, then there really is no comparison.

I liked it! After seeing that the Midtown exhibits were closed I needed some sustenance to check out other Wynwood galleries. The techno music — couple of good Benny Benassi tracks — drew me in and provided a good dining track. Throw in NFL network on the TV showing some of the classic games, and a friendly staff(even though I showed up close to closing time!) and yeah I’m a fan! I munched on their Teriyaki Chicken stir fry, which was generously portioned on my plate, with a good chicken-to brown rice– to fresh crisp veggie ratio. For a fifth star, maybe they could also provide a sweeter rather than savory teriyaki sauce. Still and all, I like, and this place is close enough to home that I can see myself becoming a regular for healthy fast food.

After yoga on Sunday the hubby and I were looking for somewhere to eat. Protein only diet… Muscle Maker Grill it is! The idea is great. Healthy food that doesn’t taste bland. I like it. We get there and the place is completely empty. Being that it is suppose to be «healthy» they really didn’t have much of a carb free menu. Yet, not everyone is as crazy as me to give up carbs completely so I will not hold this against them. I ask for the only thing on their low carb menu that looked appetizing. The girl turns around and asks the cook«do you know how to make this?» I am in complete shock! Shouldn’t the cook know how to make everything on their menu??? Then I ask for the chicken nuggets and the girl said they ran out. Again Shocked. My food was not bad but it wasn’t great either. The hubby had the burger and said it was good. The whole time we were there they did not get 1 customer. Muscle Maker grill your name is a little deceiving.

I was very excited about trying Muscle Maker Grill because it offers healthy food. I’m always on the look out for low fat options so I thought this would be a great place for me to try. I arrived with my friend a bit after noon and after looking at the menu for a while we decided on getting the Texas Chicken Nuggets to start out with. These we actually pretty good. The chicken was good white meat and the sauce was good. I just wish it would have a been a bit spicier. For our entrees I got the Godfather and my friend got the MMG Signature Wrap. I liked my Godfather but it hardly had any cheese or mushrooms on it. My friend even asked me where was the cheese that was supposed to be on my chicken. I had to actually look for it. It definitely didn’t look like how it does in the picture on the menu. My friend was actually really disappointed with her wrap. She kept saying how she wish she would have gotten something else. I had heard the cheesecake here was good so for dessert we got a cheesecake. This was by far the biggest disappointment of the meal. I went into the freezer to get the cheesecake and all the cheesecakes were ruined. Turned upside down and just everywhere. I had to really dig into the freezer to get one that looked decent enough. Then we tried it and were really disappointed. It hardly had any taste. We ended up wishing we wouldn’t have gotten it and would have gone to Yogurbella instead. Overall, I think the food was good, but I’m definitely not running back again to try something else. My friend and I kept saying how our meal was good but it was just missing something that made it great. I recommend MMG if you are in the mood for something healthy and light and don’t want to cook dinner for yourself.

Healthy and Delicious! Thanks to Unilocal reviewers, my bff and I were able to check this place out on a Saturday afternoon and experience honestly healthy casual dining. With sooo many healthful options, each looking better than the next, I decided on the Santa Fe Wrap which they gladly added tomatoes and onions to sans charge! My bff chose the Rocky Balboa wrap and she said the meatballs were pretty good. Who says eating healthy has to be bland!!!

I was contacted by the owner after writing my review, who clarified that MSG is only found in dishes containing rice, so I thought I would do everyone a favor and disclose that, as well as going ahead and giving them another try. I ordered the Godfather that same night and wow! The chicken breast portion was HUGE and covered with broccoli underneath. It was delicious, and for less than $ 10, now THAT is what I am talking about! Healthy food at an affordable price for all! The turkey meatballs I got as a side were HUGE and full of flavor, but careful! They are addictive. Speaking of addictive, I was pretty full, but still saved room for dessert, their signature chocolate cheesecake. I couldn’t believe that this was a dessert that contained no sugar, the only thing I regretted was not the calories or the damage done to my waistline, but not having ordered some more for the next day!

After a bad restaurant experience nearby, I was more than happy to stumble upon Muscle Maker Grill. Amazing, healthy, and lots of choices. I had the turkey chili which was huge and served over brown rice, fat free sour cream, and reduced fat cheddar. The fact that this food tasted sinfully delicious yet was not sinful at all and rather healthy is enough to keep me coming back for more. I also tasted the turkey meatballs, mmm! Gluten free and vegan choices add points along with the fact that this place looks nice and was obviously designed. In a wasteland of unhealthy food, Muscle Maker Grill is a healthy, tasty, convenient spot with a friendly, eager to please atmosphere and staff. I wish they would open more of these around Miami!
