Nail Trap No 7

So I wanted to update my review since my 1^st review 3 years ago. I’m happy to report that they still do an awesome job with my hands and feet! My nails look beautiful and they always do my nails exactly how I like them. Oh and they also did some interior remodeling so the place looks nicer :) I highly recommend maylynn for hands and mimi for feet.

I had a great experience!!. I had some gel nails done by an idiot at another salon and the lady at this salon did wonders. My eyebrows came out perfect also. VERY HAPPY! !

The worst, had to leave before they completely ruined the nails! Avoid this place & $ 25, haha what a joke!

If you’re looking for a fancy pampering you’ve come to the wrong place. But if you need your nails done well and cheap, this is your spot. People are yelling, the employees are rudely yelling at each other in another language, but it’s kind of a family once you go a few times. It’s not a fancy place by any means but the employees are funny and after they get to know you and vice versa they’re like a funny, welcoming family. If you’re short on cash or time go here. Also — great acrylics of any style. If not doing acrylic ask for Mimi — she takes her time and is super sweet and does a high quality job (as well as being able to do designs). She’s on leave for the next 7 weeks I believe, as she has just become a mommy! But it’s a great little place if you’re not a snob or looking for a true spa treatment, once you become a reg.

After having such a good initial experience I’m disappointed in writing this update. Unfortunately, the quality and cleanliness of their service has decreased over time. I’ve gone for multiple pedicures and each time the nail polish pools at the bottom of my nails and people ask why I do not get them done professionally. Then, not even a day later, they usually end up missing polish. A sure sign of low quality polish. This includes gel polish that is supposed to last longer than a regular polish. I’m not sure why, but it would end up peeling after a day or 2. I’ve tried coming back multiple times thinking maybe it was just a bad batch or even my fault, but after trying another place — my nails have lasted.
I also noticed they aren’t scrubbing their materials how they used to. There was one time a woman left the pedicure seat and they immediately ushered me into the tub soak — without cleaning it. Just a drain and refill. It made me uncomfortable to ask them to clean it better with the woman sitting right there, but everyone knows dead skin sloughs off during the foot scrub! I didn’t want to soak in someone else’s.

CAn’t believe the good reviews for this place. I was scared to let them do my manicure. The place is dirty, technician barely spoke english, polish selection was awful – they had cheap (no name) polish, which they diluted with remover. Gross place and awful experience.

ReAlly great at stilletos. I went to another nail trap and they messed up my stilleto nails, they were too long and round and it took an hour and a half. So when I decided to go to nail trap #7 the girl who sits next to the desk fixed them in 10 minutes and I was out the door totally happy
