If you are as particular as I am about my nails, you definitely need to go to Yari. She did my nails exactly how I wanted them. An acrylic that does not look like you added 10 layers of nails unto your own and she did that in a timely matter. She is also very pleasant. You must try her services yourself. 10 Stars…

If you know me, you know how picky I am about my nails. And if you know me, you also know that I tend bounce from nail salon to nail salon and/or go on a «Nail Strike» because of my pickiness, because once I have ONE lazy/sloppy/half-effort experience with a nail tech, I’m done because, for me, the integrity of the entire shop is now compromised. If they allow one sloppy tech, that tells me that they don’t care about their customers or providing the best service possible, which is KEY. So when I found the Groupon for Covino Beauty Services, I was apprehensive, but excited because I was looking forward to potentially finding someone good to actually do my nails. And did I find someone good? Nope. I found someone AWESOME: YARY! She’s the«Covino» in the«Covino Beauty Services». And she is DABOMB(Yup… I went there!). She’s exact and precise and takes CARE with your fingers & toes. She doesn’t rush through the mani-pedi, just to get the customer in & out. That’s really important because, in today’s society, we tend to rush everything, which is why we tend to settle for mediocre service. I actually went on Sunday and she was the only tech working, but she advised me that she usually didn’t work on Sundays before, but now she was going to start, which was great because there wasn’t as much traffic(only 1 lady ahead of me & she was almost done when I got there), and it was nice & quiet in the shop, so it ended up being a chill, relaxing experience. Yary’s nice, funny, quick witted, and kind, and can be ALL these things without having to stop working on your nails every 5 seconds. You know what I mean, right? You ever had the nail tech(or hairdresser) who talks to you the whole time, but has to stop working to look at you, make hand gestures, get on her cell phone, make coffee, do a few jumping jacks, etc., and while you sit there thinking, «If you don’t hurry the hell up…»? Ok. Doesn’t happen here! We barely even knew each other, but we ended up having a really great time just chatting while she worked. And, brothers and sisters, the end result… well. let’s just say it’s been 3 days and I still can’t stop staring. I mean, it was a simple mani-pedi, but a LOT of places I’ve been still can’t master it; therefore, instead of looking fresh, it looks a week old after only a day or two. Don’t worry, I’ll post a picture so you can actually see the quality of Yary’s work. As for the shop, it’s a small, quiet cute little shop, that’s half-salon, half-mani/pedi stations. It’s a bit difficult to see the plaza from the road, but just so you know, it’s in the plaza right next to Vegetarian Restaurant by Hakin, so you really can’t miss it. You’ll be looking for Luxury Beauty Salon, which is the salon that Yary works out of. Yary handles all nail services, but she advised me that other 2 techs only basically do acrylics. Don’t let that deter you. GOANYWAY! Especially if you’re like me and wears your nails natural. You won’t be sorry. There’s a $ 20 mani-pedi Groupon for now(the link, if you please: ) but the regular price is only $ 40, which is on par with just about every place I’ve been to in the city so far, give or take a dollar or two. Either way, that’s a small price to pay for quality grooming services, don’t you think?
