Natalie’s Cafe lounge

Great atmosphere to come with friends and family! The best part is their service! It feels like if you were at home! Everything is home made! The owner’s are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. The price is great! I came with friends because we were looking to hang around a chill place, my friend recommended it and I do not regret coming at all! I recommend this to anyone who likes to smoke hookah and be in a relaxing environment! The food, service and music is the best! It’s like a home away from home. Love it!

I came to Natalie’s with a group of friends last weekend. We saw five star reviews and it was in the area, so we thought we would give it a try.
Upon first glance it’s at a very odd location near a tattoo parlor and hidden behind a stair case. As we went to open the door you could hear loud music as if it was a club (it was 11 am on a Sunday). When we walked in it was tiny literally the size of a small office. The staff was friendly and sat us right away. The furniture was tacky and looked sort of cheap. The menu looked good but I think we were all still unsure about whether we wanted to stay or not bc it was not even close to what we expected.
I asked for cafè con leche they said they didn’t have it (what restaurant in Miami doesn’t). So the waiter offered hot chocolate so I agreed. He came back five minutes later stating they didn’t have hot chocolate. My boyfriend ordered a cappuccino and just as he went to take a sip there were 15 dead ants stuck on the inside of the styrofoam cup. It was disgusting. Definitely killed my boyfriends appetite.
We ordered the Parmesan scrambled eggs with guacamole and it was really tasty actually! Our friends food was good too. Oh forgot to mention they ran out of their plastic forks so we had to eat with plastic spoons. The owner gave us an extra round of mimosas bc of that. It’s a shame bc the food was really good. If the vibe of the place was better along with better preparation and no ants I would come back. Unfortunately we won’t be back. I have a feeling the other two reviews are friends of the owners or employees. Don’t be fooled it is not five stares. Maybe with some major improvements they could get there. The food was pretty good.

So we were looking for a new local place and were intrigued by Natalie’s trough their Facebook page. We decided to give it a try and visited the place for Sunday brunch. It is definitely loungy and it is a bit small but the service is fantastic. The music is great! We got to meet Natalie and her partner and you couldn’t ask for warmer, more welcoming people. They make you feel very comfortable and their story is quite endearing. We both had steak dishes and were pleased with the seasoning. They are a very casual beer and wine establishment with reasonable prices. I will definitely come back and check out the night scene. Support your local neighborhood businesses!

I wasn’t sure about this café but decided to give it a chance. I went in for brunch. Walking in I noticed the atmosphere felt very alive. Very upbeat with the music playing. I decided on the egg, mushroom, spinach and cheese on a bagel with home fries. The bagel was so fresh and soft. It was delicious. The people working there were very friendly and attentive making sure I was satisfied with my meal.
