This liquor store is at a shopping center where you won’t expect good wines. I was impress by the variety of several high end wines like Caymus, Opus One, Overture, Nickel & Nickel, Joseph Phelps, among others. I found 2 old great wines: Stag’s Leap Cask 23 of 2003 Robert Mondavi Reserve 2007 I already drank the Cask 23 on 12⁄24. Unfortunately the wine wasn’t great, not because the quality of the wine but the way it was stored for a long period of time. The cork was super dried, it broke in several pieces and I had to filter the wine on its way to the decanter. Tomorrow 12⁄31 I’ll be drinking the Robert Mondavi ’07… Since they don’t have a temperature controlled wine cellar where the temperature and humidity can be set around 55 °F to 60 °F&70−80% old wines may not be a good choice here. Prices are good, so I’ll be coming back for younger vintages…

A great selection of liquor at very reasonable prices. They run specials every week that beats most major liquor stores in the area. A respectable wine selection rounds out their inventory. Spanish, Italian, and several California wines both red and white at really good prices can be seen on display right as you enter the store. Pantry Liquors carries most of the major brands and is considered one of the best stocked neighborhood liquor stores in West-Tami-Kendall. …today, I’m just picking up a bottle of bourbon. Tomorrow, I may need help remembering my name…
