Paradise Nursery

We were down in Homestead to pick out plants to line our driveway and yard. Our first two stops in this area didn’t pan out due to either small selections or high prices. We needed plants ASAP so we checked Craigslist and found Jesus… And he is awesome!
Paradise Nursery is large and they have a huge variety of plants. We called ahead and spoke to Jesus, turns out he is the owner. He speaks English, which helped a lot as our Spanish is lacking. You have to understand that he spent 2 HOURS with us. He drove us around his property on a golf cart. We brought photos to show him the space and how many feet we needed covered. We let him know that everything should be as low maintenance as possible for plants. He showed us many alternatives. Even when we were «done», he showed us something better that he thought we might like.
The price was really good, and the cherry on top for us was that he agreed to deliver to North Miami. He charges a delivery fee but it’s much better for those of us who don’t have pickup trucks.
All in all, a very good experience. Lots of information. Great selection and price.
