For a fast and affordable food this place is ok. Ask and pay for your food at the front, take a seat and they will take it to your table.

Pei Wei is great! We love that they have gluten-free options — though we wish they had more! Please add more GF entrée options. Ordering over the phone is usually a difficult task if you have lots of customizations — but online ordering works great! Their iced teas are great!

This Pei Wei is one of the best locations I’ve been to for lunch, which says a lot(I stopped going to the Fort Lauderdale ones for various reasons, like lack of cleanliness or tables broken for months – with a sign saying«broken»). The tables are kept clean, which is great as this location serves high volume during lunchtime due to its location just off the Miracle Mile in Coral Gables. The staff are usually pretty friendly and helpful, seeming like they care about their jobs(rare in South Florida). The location is large with a variety of seating: bar area with outlets, booths, tables for 2 – 4 people. Outlets are plentiful. I like that I can stop in for lunch, pull out my laptop and crank out some work for 60 – 90 min between meetings without being hassled or feeling like I’m taking space from other customers. The Dan Dan noodle bowl is one of my fav entrees: tasty flavors with the minced chicken, sauce, cucumber sticks, bean sprouts, and noodles; and a generous quantity even for the small serving. Many of the entrees have too much sauce, not enough vegetables, or are too sweet or spicy for my taste, though that’s an overall Pei Wei issue and not this location. Sushi is an interesting concept for Pei Wei: it’s not typical sushi but a fusion, and seems pre-made. I tried the varieties once and decided to get sushi from an actual sushi place instead. Downsides: The silverware usually seems kind of off with dried water trails: it seems like they take it out of the sanitizer and put it directly into the silverware bins. Not the most pleasing aesthetic before eating. I do appreciate that it is actual silverware instead of plastic. The parking lot is tiny, shared with Chipotle and a perpetually«coming soon» bagel place. It is free parking when you can get it – a nice bonus for Miami when many Downtown/Brickell garages charge $ 6−10/hour.

So I’ve had enough bad experiences here to warrant a solid one-star review. Rest assured, this is not based on «an off-night» experience. The first time El Hub and I came, my chicken was raw. Not a little raw, I mean RAW. When I called a waiter over to inform him, he said«That’s not possible». Seriously? That’s not possible. How about you take a look at this forkful of raw chicken I say. Obviously with one glance, he too saw that it was raw, and whisked my plate away apologizing. Lesson 1 Pei Wei, please do not condescendingly inform your patrons that they do not know what they are talking about. The second time El Hub and I came, our order was incorrect. The dish was to be served on top of noodles instead of rice. When we informed the waiter he took it back to correct it, however we had to witness the grossness of the kitchen scraping the main entrée off of the rice, putting it onto the side to wait under the heat lamps, and then transferring it to the noodles. Lesson 2 Pei Wei, please don’t be transferring food off and on plates. The rice had absorbed like all of the sauce, so when we got the food back, not only was it baking under the heat lamps for additional minutes, but it had become sauce-less and dry. The third time El Hub and I came(at this point I was seriously wondering why we were even giving this place a third shot) some sort of management team was in the dining area pointing out everything the kitchen and house were doing wrong and not-so-obviously writing it down in their memo pads. I don’t know if this was some sort of agency or outside consulting company or what, but it really made us nervous because we started being overly-critical of everything that was going on around us. Lesson 3 Pei Wei, do your improvement training less obviously. It makes your diners nervous to hear«This girl should have dropped those plates off the last time she went through here, another tic-mark for inefficiency» No. Just No.

Absolutely impressed with this place. Décor of a fairly nice restaurant, brick walls, open kitchen, solid tables, focused lighting. Plus the food is fresh, inexpensive, good variety and quite tasty. Second night here in three days.

I’ve officially been waiting 40 minutes on my Togo order. It was supposed to be 10 – 15 minutes. I also came in 2 hours before closing and they were out of sushi. To me, that means a) it’s premade hours in advance or b) whoever does the product ordering is terrible at their job and/or c) the workers are just too lazy to make food. Either way, there’s no excuse. The food he is fairly decent and one step up from regular Chinese takeout. Additionally, when we got here my husband and I stood at the register ready to order for about 3 minutes while the two cashiers had a conversation with one another and didn’t even acknowledge us. Awkwardddd not to mention RUDE. Oh, and did I mention I went grocery shopping before I came here and now I have ice cream melting in the car. Thanks PEIWEI.

First time at Pei Wei. Clean restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Wait time for to go was about 7 minutes which wasn’t too bad due to the amount of customers waiting for their to go as well. Had the honey seared chicken with fried rice. The food was definitely good. I’d go back again.

I gave it 2 stars because the workers are nice Worst Mongolian beef I ever had, worst Won Ton soup I ever had Saltiest sauce I ever had. The beef has a weird consistency. Like cardboard The best part of the meal was the Coke with lime and the Fortune cookie They won’t see me again

After a few weeks of absence from my pei wei I just went back there with my wife. As usual that place is a very good experience when you compare to other more expensive places in the area. The wonderful and very friendly attention given by the staff says a lot about the management and the care they take in selecting good people for the restaurant. Needless to say I opened the place almost inaugurated and hope will continue being a client to it. Keep quality and good work up!

Meh. I did no like the food here at all. I love Asian Cuisine but with more seasoning. The food was too simple and service slow. They brought our food separate instead of bringing all the items together. We ordered egg rolls and they brought the sauce after we ate them. I think for a restaurant that has not enough customers they should be a little faster. The only reason I ate here, was because the restaurant next-door was full. Tables were dirty. I will consider giving them two star and a half but Unilocal doesn’t have that option. I’m not coming here unless I’m starving. The teriyaki chicken was ok.

This Pei Wei is really conveniently located for me, so I’ve stopped in a few times. I’m not a huge fast food eater, but this is an OK option for fast-casual food that has some healthy-ish options. I typically order the lettuce wraps, which are tasty but never come with enough lettuce. Luckily, you can get more pieces just by asking. My husband usually opts for something a little heartier, like pad thai, which is fine but definitely not up there with some of the best. We just tried the kung pao shrimp roll, which is a California roll topped with fried shrimp, and we enjoyed it. Along with the lettuce wraps, it is an offering on the«lighter» options menu. :) The cookies are fine for 99 cents. I didn’t love it but I didn’t hate myself for eating it afterward either! Service is good. The employees typically seem pretty cheerful and are very helpful for a fast-casual restaurant. They come around to clean up the tables and even offer a smile. In Miami, that’s pretty rare — I’ll take it. Overall, a place fine for stopping in to grab a cheap lunch or dinner.

Save your money and go to Panda Express. Seriously. I visited the Pei Wei in Pembroke Pines for the second time in the last year and found the experience to be something like fast-casual pseudo-Asian food beaten down to the level of service you’d expect from a public school cafeteria. The«spicy» orange peel chicken was bland and the Mongolian beef was charred to the point that it gave you the impression you were eating saucy pork rinds. The Ginger Broccoli Chicken was the only thing we ordered that approximated edible. The unappetizing food was bad enough but the indifferent order taker, who offered no assistance and glared as my children decided on their meals added a certain charm I could have lived without. Then of course, there was lousy kitchen service. My wife and I received our dishes and it was nearly ten minutes before they decided my kids should be fed. Your expediting process is broken. Perhaps because it was a Sunday visit, the«B» Squad was on to give the pros a break, but surely, we can do better. Perhaps I have only myself to blame. Pei Wei is, after all, a ½ star chain restaurant. Maybe lower expectations would have elevated the experience. But how hard is it to bring the food out all at once? How hard is it to smile? How hard is it to get it right when there is no true creativity required of your kitchen staff? Not very, which is why I was not very impressed.

Their lettuce wraps! Seriously… that’s the only thing I ever order cause they are always so damn good. I actually tried their new sushi rolls and they were very good, I wish they have the options for brown rice though! I’ve also had a bite of my mom’s broccoli chicken and it’s delicious, a bit too much ginger but very good nonetheless.

I come here almost 3x per week cause its close by work. I also take my staff here for lunch once in while and eat-in when we get an hour break. Service is always pretty swift and the prices are very reasonable. Often times we opt for extra meat when we order the original size entrees. Its $ 1.99 more but its worth it… dining in. However, take-out orders tend to be inconsistent. Several times when I picked up our take-out order w/extra meat, the portions were way smaller compared to when we dine in. I know this because I take pictures of almost any food we eat on a daily basis(for review purposes of course :) On my last visit, I decided it was time to speak to the manager about this issue cause its really disappointing to come back to work excited and finding out the food portions were way smaller than what we paid for. We don’t mind paying extra for either food or service… all we ask for is consistency. The manager was kind enough to explain to me that there’s a glitch in their process because each cook tend to size the entrée differently… I guess it depends whoever is scheduled that day? I told the manager about our food experience when we eat-in compared to when we get take-out. Hopefully he would investigate further and find a resolution. He also took my take-out back and had them re-done…now the portions looked correct. There were about 4 of us who regularly ordered food at this place 3x a week. We stopped getting lunch here because we were afraid of another disappointment. We will give it another shot someday.

Their crab wontons are probably some of the best I’ve had! Their fried rice is phenomenal, sweet and sour chicken is superb! You HAVE to try their red chili sauce that’s near where they keep the soy sauce!!! Fantastic!!!

What started out as love has turned to complete disinterest. The service is so slow and the food orders constantly come out wrong. The only saving grace this place has is the fun soda fountains where you can get all kinds of flavors. Get it together, Pei Wei!

I was in the area last week and this preggo was craving some chicken lettuce wraps and crab wontons(2 of my fav things from this place). My toddler hadn’t been feeling well so I called in and ordered pick up. There were plenty of tables open as there weren’t many people dining in. However they were quite busy with pick up orders. Long story short I waited at least 10 mins for my order but, since I was in a hurry, I didn’t bother to check. I was sadly disappointed to later find out my chicken lettuce wraps had no lettuce(no way I can eat all that chicken alone) and the crab wontons didn’t have dipping sauce(which definitely makes a difference for me). Had it not been for traffic hour I would have gone back, but that was out of the question. Therefore I decided to call and complaint. They were apologetic and offered a free chicken lettuce wrap on my next visit. That definitely made me feel better because, quite honestly, I was pretty bothered. Giving this 4 stars because I do like their food and this establishment is new and well kept. And although this particular experience wasn’t what I expected, they at least made up for it. Now to cross my fingers and hope there won’t be an issue to actually get the offered item for free.
