Worse experience ever…

Oh so friendly and helpful. I had the chicken with rice and fries. I don’t know what the chicken was seasoned in, but I enjoyed it. Would I return — yes!

Hidden gem off 8th street, the ceviche is really great along with their tacu tacu, they are even open late. The inside is beautiful and clean and the chef is really talented.

Really great service, I didn’t want to leave because our waitress was so awesome !! The food was yummy and we got lucky to get free sushi for a tasting they were preparing for the next day. The food was decent and as random as it sounds, the grilled chicken was delicious. Flavorful and juicy… Not really a Peruvian delicacy LOL but something to consider if you being a picky eater. But the food is close by and the service again is absolutely wonderful. Will absolutely be coming back :)

I had high hopes for Pekadito, however, it did even come close to meeting average expectations. The service was barely ok. The octopus in the ceviche tasted somewhat rotten but the taste of the opinion masked the awful taste. I ordered the grilled octopus and found that it was completely rotten. The whole matter was made worse by the kitchen staff blaming the rotten taste to a sauce they used in the anticuchos. I can’t say that this experience makes me want to ever return to Pekadito.

As usual EXCELLENT meal and service. However, today there was no dessert!!! How is it possible for a restaurant to run out of all its desserts

My wife and I chose this place for lunch by chance and felt we discovered this Peruvian treasure and sort of knew how Horgan Bingham must have felt when he found Machu Pichu. Immediately served conchitis roasted pieces of corn seeds that will become our snack of choice on the road of we figure out how to make them. We were in a bit of a hurry and had the tasty and seafood laden Peruvian bouillabaisse that was nice And spicy and came with perfect fluffed white rice. Service was quick and efficient we made it out in time and very full. Hope to come back again to try other treats. We thought we had found an unknown treasure but when we Unilocaled it this evening found a 5 rating which seems to be rare in Miami town.

good service and pretty good ceviches! On the other hand, the main dishes were average, non memorable, the hubby and I shared a tacutacu seafood and hmm well I didn’t care for it, it was missing some flavor. The lomo pekaditos was ok, my sis in law liked it, but for me it was too creamy like a stroganoff, and my friend’s parihuela(I didn’t taste it) he says it was ok, but wont come back for it. Hopefully the chef will take this under consideration to improve his main dishes. If I ever come back it would be for the ceviches and the service.

This was my first Peruvian experience. I can’t wait to come back… hopefully tomorrow! New flavors and simply sublime food. Starting with the little snacky Canchita(corn snack)… everything was a home run. My friend and I shared the Pecado Mixto Ceviche. It was perfect. My main was Grilled Octopus with Chimichurri sauce and roasted potato. Octopus is one of my go to dishes in Greek and Puerto Rican restaurants… this was as good as I ever had, a great crunchy texture from the charred suckers and then a creamy goodness on the inside… WOW! Adding the chimichurri made it even better. My friend Bobby had Paraihuela… a sort of Seafood Bouillabaisse. It was STUNNINGLYGOOD and so unique! I can’t wait to go home and experiment with recreating this sumptuous dish… creamy with a subtle smokiness… roux? cumin? paprika? coconut milk? The language barrier did not allow for in depth discussion. All of the seafood in it was perfectly cooked. We hit the place after the lunch rush so service was quick and very personal. I love finding places like this in a little strip mall… thanks Unilocal for the recommendation!

Excellent place. Friday night karaōke and it was a nice family atmosphere. It’s mostly Spanish music but they also have English and while we were there someone sang karaōke in Portuguese. Very awesome! Food was great! It’s open till 2:30AM on Kareoke night.

Absolute gem! I have been to Peruvian restaurants around the country and Pekaditos is absolutely exquisite. The menu is loaded with options from the ceviche all the way down to their coffee it is all a sweet symphony of intricate flavors. I feel like I should have a cigarette and I don’t smoke.

Came here friday night with friends for dinner… service was great and food was incredible. We started out with the classic ceviche, cheese bites and ceviche trio. Mu hubby and I had the mixed chaufa and chicharron de pescado, our friends had the sopon marinero, the riosotto of shrimp and the grilled ceviche. Everything was great and for dessert the crème brûlée of quinoa(amazeballs) cant wait to go back.

Wow!!! What an amazing restaurant! The food has been the most DELICIOUS meal we’ve had in a Peruvian restaurant in south florida. Everything was fresh and presented elegantly. The service was EXCELLENT and the Chef came out and took his time to go around the tables to make sure everything was good and customers were satisfied. If you are looking for high end Peruvian cuisine, this is the place! Can’t wait to go again! ;)

Coming to this restaurant is a parade of exotic flavors on my taste buds. Premium ingredients, overpowering sauces, and creative ideas piled one on top of the other until the recipes simply collapse into an unreal dish! Chef German hands down is one of the best chefs around!

Hands down, Pekaditos is one of the best tasting peruvian food in south florida, have you hear of the Grill Ceviche? or what about fried Ceviche? well, both are amazing taste, just mind blowing, they take peruvian cooking to the next level, and their prices are very good for such great flavors… 100% recomended

Love this place! Best Peruvian food ever. It’s a little bit of a wait but it’s probably because the food is so fresh and it’s definitely worth the wait.
