A man with a plan and a passion for making local artisan products. I have tried their guava marmalade and jelly and their several different types of breads. The minute you taste that guava marmalade you can feel the love and passion that goes into all their products. Goes well on toast, crackers, baking, and stuffed french toast with cream cheese. Also my favorite way to have it is on a saltine crackers with a spread of cream cheese topped off with their guava marmalade. The owner is passionate about his product and is very knowledgeable about the history of the Florida Guavas and other local produce. You can find them at local farmers markets or at Palomila Grill in Miami.

What are you passionate about? PG Bakery is PASSIONATE about FL guavas and making delicious products with these special fruits. I first ran into them at Dessert Wars where their pastelitos won over all the attendees. I tried their products at a few other events around town and finally bought a jar of their guava marmelada at Unilocal’s Big Bite to use at home! Spread that on some toast with cheese, and it’s delicious! It contains no artificial ingredients, food coloring or preservatives which really sets it apart. I’d suggest following them on social media to see where you can hunt them down. Spots like Fireman Derek’s uses it in pie, American Social serves it up with brunch specials, Azucar puts it in ice cream, and more! Can’t wait to see what’s to come!

I love guava and I loved their marmalade. I had the chance of trying their product at a Unilocal Event and it tasted so fresh, sweet and, of course, fruity. It is hard to get your hands on good guava around the area but these folks just found the right spot and the best recipe. DELICIOUS!

By far the best Pastel Guayaba I have every had!!! Your mom brought them in to try and I was just amazed how tasty a pastelio can taste even when made with natural ingredients. In another occasion tried the banana and guayaba really enjoyed the spectacular taste! I would highly recommend the guava pastelio and breads!

We happened upon this wonderful bakery at a «Dessert Wars» event at the University of Miami, and it was certainly our favorite bite of the day! We sampled the guava bread and pastelitos — both baked that morning. The bread was super moist and the guava was so fresh tasting. We also purchased a jar of their homemade guava marmalade, can’t wait to use it! The owners were also extremely friendly and clearly passionate about their business. Highly recommended!
