Port Of Miami Cruise Parking

, so I’m assuming this is the place although the address we got from the website (and where we parked) was 45 SE 2^nd St. We reserved our spot a week or two in advance, and printed our confirmation.
We arrived at the location, which was a covered multi-​story parking garage. You have to get a ticket to get in, which confused me a little, since I didn’t want to pay the posted rates. I asked the attendant about this, and she said all I need is the ticket, and my confirmation when I leave.
At first I was apprehensive about parking here because of the $ 14/​person shuttle. Then I read a couple reviews here that suggested anything but. So I got the Lyft app while still at home. Signing up for Lyft gave me $ 50 in credit, towards 5 rides of $ 10 each. The driver was there within 5 mins, and we were delivered to the port in about 10 – 15 mins. Since we arrived at a non-​peak time, the rate was around $ 6, so the ride was free with our credits. The return trip was a little more pricey, since it was a peak time. $ 11.50 or so, so we paid $ 1.50 for the return trip.
When we returned our car was just as we left it, and checking out was a breeze. Just drove up to the kiosk, the attendant took our ticket and confirmation, and sent us on our way.
Truly a painless, easy process. Not to mention the huge price difference in parking AT the port. We’ll definitely use this lot again when in the Miami area.

I originally gave this parking service 2 stars because they were very affordable even though they ripped me off by surprising me with a fee for their shuttle service which was NOT disclosed when I made my reservation. $ 10, round trip, per person. The taxi ride is just $ 10 and you will not have to wait around, in he heat, for their van to show up. When I got off the ship, I called for the pickup and got a voice message. After waiting 15 minutes, I grabbed a taxi for $ 11 and was at the lot in less than 5 minutes.
Now — the reason for the DECREASE in rating is because when I showed up, they had allowed two people to park me in!!! Find another lot or, at the very least, plan on spending ~$ 20 round trip for a taxi. If there are two or more of you, a taxi is a MUCH better option for coming to or going from this lot. ESPECIALLY coming back!
Also — Check all the reviews they HIDE by paying for a subscription to Unilocal. The link is at the bottom at all of the reviews on the first page.

Don’t waste your money especially if you’re Handicapped at this Florida Rip OFF! I’m a 100% Disabled Vietnam Veteran that can barley walk and use a cane to get around. The parking garage is a good 5 – 10 minute walk to the ship with no shuttle available and by the time I make it to the ship they have to wheelchair me the rest of the way to the cabin. Now this is the good part, when the cruise is over and back in the car and upon exit they tell me I have to pay because I don’t meet their qualifications to be Handicapped! I have Permanent Handicap Veteran Plates on my car due to being hit by a VC Rocket in 1969 and dying from complications of Agent Orange from being sprayed in Vietnam! I will never park in their garage again and think the way they treat Veterans is a shame!

DON’T USE!!! NOT SAFE!!! They have horrible service and the place is not even secured! They will move your call to a different open lot and won’t even tell you where it is. The line is horrific and are not cautious with pedestrians. My sister saw a person get hit by an employee driving a car.

DO NOT PARK HERE! They will illegally park your car. They are deceptive about the price and they make you prepay for transportation and WILL NOT PICK YOU UP!
My car had scratches on it when we finally took a taxi back from the port and looked like the hood was used as a garbage dump. Terrible parking. Terrible service.

Our quoted price for 5 day parking and shuttle service was $ 43 (much cheaper than parking at the port. tough to beat that price). We paid online from the website. License plate number was not requested.
The parking lot is not heavily guarded. Homeless are sleeping and hanging around the fence. The fence could easily be jumped over. The attendant was waiting at the gate upon arriving. He checked our email reservation ticket and asked us to do straight parking. I forgot to print a copy of the reservation ticket to leave on the dash. It was not needed. The attendant did not give us a ticket number or anything to place on the dashboard. There really is no way for them to verify how long a car has been parked there.
We waited about 20 – 25 minutes for the shuttle to arrive and take us to the port. The shuttle was clean and the driver was kind. The driver gave us green stickers to show upon returning in order to ride the shuttle back to the lot.
When we returned from the cruise, we called the shuttle number (954– 854‑3091). Someone promptly answered and we were told that the shuttle would arrive in 5 – 10 minutes. The shuttle arrived about 20 minutes later (to be expected in Miami… after all everybody’s always late here). The shuttle dropped us off right in front of the parking fence, and the driver took our luggage out from the small u-​haul trailer in the back. Tips were «appreciated.»
My car appeared just as I left it. The sign in the front says we could come and go as we pleased so we placed our luggage in the trunk, and left the car in the lot while we went to eat lunch. When returning from lunch, the parking lot fence was closed. We had a small panic attack, but we called the number listed in the front, and the attendant was sitting nearby to open the gate.
I would recommend Port of Miami Cruise Parking. Served its purpose for a good price.

This is easy to find, but had no shuttle for over an hour on our return and had to take a taxi cab, so it cost an additional $ 20, plus our $ 2 for shuttle service already paid. There is no help or direction at this outside lot, only a man who sits in his chair and plays with his phone. He does get up to collect for parking, but there is no help with luggage, etc. We notice the sign is torn down and nobody bothered to put it back up. Because there is no assistance, people park crooked and it is very difficult to fit into a space. I’m giving it a one star instead of none because it was cheap – only $ 56 for a week.

At first I was skeptical with all these reviews saying «warning stay away» but I would definitely Park here again without a doubt. For the price we paid compared to the port of Miami and the service we got I don’t see how they’re not charging a little more than what we paid. The van was super clean, it seems to be new and the bus was also very clean. They dropped us off and when we came back we gave them a call to pick us up and within 20 – 25 min they were there. We came back to the car exactly as how we left it. I recommend them to whoever needs their service.

The only reason I am giving them a 3-​star rating is because the parking was definitely close and the car was in tact when we arrived home.
1. Getting there on the day the cruise was to leave, the employee was unprofessional. He needed an assistant or someone to help him park the cars. Especially with all the questions people had and the line continued to grow, but didn’t move. His English wasn’t great. He was impersonal and acted as though he didn’t want to be there.
2. Shuttle — DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A SHUTTLE!
They only have one shuttle van/​bus and only a handful of people and their luggage can fit. Once they get all they can on the shuttle, the driver told us he’d be 20 minutes and he’d be back. So as people lined up in the hot sun, we waited. After 30 minutes had passed and still no sign of the shuttle, my husband and I opened up our Lyft App and requested a Lyft. Our Lyft ride was there within 5 minutes. And still no shuttle. The Lyft ride cost us $ 6 to get to the port. When we returned, we wanted to give the shuttle the benefit of the doubt, so we waited around. No shuttle. We called. No answer. We decided to try Lyft again to see if they would get there faster. With traffic, the Lyft was there in 10 minutes and we never saw the shuttle, nor could we get them to answer their phone. The Lyft back to the lot where our car was, was again only $ 6. Do not waste your money on the shuttle here. Request a Lyft instead (download the app and use coupon code KissMyStache for $ 25 free to use Lyft).
If you’re looking for a close place to park your car, this might be the lot for you. At $ 6 something per day, isn’t bad. Much better than parking garages. But don’t take the shuttle. Waste of time and money. It will start your vacation off to a hot, sweaty, upsetting start. Don’t do that to yourself.

I’ve been waiting more than an hour for their shuttle to pick us up from the port. They are a no show. Horrible service. Park somewhere else. I’ve called five times already and they said 5 minutes 40 minutes ago. Very disappointed.

Parking is easy, we waited almost 45 minutes for the transportation to take us to the Port. Took a cab back, I tried contacting the owners of the lot about transportation, there was no answer. I did not find the $ 6 a day parking that reasonable. You pay an additional $ 14 for transportation. With no answer and no bus waiting we had to take a taxi pay $ 9 total paid $ 53 plus gratuity $ 5, at $ 58 there are more options for parking at that price.
I will not use Port Of Miami Cruise Parking again.

We just got infested with bugs in our vehicle after parking in this lot for a 4 day Mexican cruise. Right when we return to the vehicle we spotted them but when we got back home there were thousands and thousands of them. We also had problems with the shuttle and major attitude came with the package too.

I parked there this weekend. It is not a 10 minute walk to the cruise ship. I couldn’t find a cab and so I ended up walking 40 minutes — 1.8 miles to get to my ship. I had to drag my luggage up over the port bridge. I was soaking wet by the time I arrived at the port. When I got off the ship, I took a cab back… it was $ 11 plus tip ($ 15). There was no attendant at the parking lot. It’s not a nice area, lots of homeless in the area. Fortunately my car was fine. If you’re going on a ship for 5 or more days it’s probably a good financial deal. But for a three or four day cruise you are much better off paying the $ 15 or $ 20 a day and your car is in a safe garage right in front of your ship.

NEVER again, my car was broken into, my window was broken and trunk was open which caused my car battery to die. There was no one on the lot when we returned to back to our car after a week of cruising. Luckily there was a good samaritan who worked across the street and jumped our car for us. Next time, we will use a limo service.

It was an average of $ 6 a day, we were going on a 7 day cruise and did not want to spend $ 140 on parking. It was less than $ 10 for a cab one way, just over the bridge. It is a sketchy lot, with lots of pot holes, right behind a strip club. But our truck was in the same shape as we left it in. We showed our e-​mail on the phone and parked with no issues. We would use this lot again.

$ 6.00 a day cannot be beat! I parked my car here for 8 days while on a cruise on the NCL Getaway and I saved a lot of money. This is an open parking lot which may seem a bit run down but it does the job. After 8 days, I found my car in perfect condition with the exception of a few bird droppings that can’t be helped.
I booked my reservation online about 1 month prior to our sail date and all I had to do was show up and self park. You don’t have to leave your keys with anyone so don’t worry about others driving your precious vehicle. I took the Metro Mover from here to the Hampton Inn and it took less than 20 minutes and most important it was free. On our return, we took a cab from the Port to the lot and it cost me $ 9.00.
My suggestion is to turn in the car one day before you depart on your cruise, that way you don’t have that worry the day you sail. There were plenty of spaces available so don’t read too much into the negative reviews. We will be parking here again in December when we sail on the Epic.

It’s okay to park here. However, do NOT take their shuttle to the port. It cost us about 20 dollars to get a ROUND TRIP. We waited for more than half an hour and there is NO shuttle. There is another couple who had been waiting for another 30 min before us and they did not see any shuttle coming either. So we had to take a cab to get back to the parking lot. Do NOT take their shuttle.

Not really wanting to spend $ 20 per day for parking, I checked here on Unilocal to see what options there where. After reading the reviews here, I decided to give it a try. On line, however, I backed out on actually reserving on line due to the fact that the web site was not secure and I really wasn’t comfortable giving all my credit card info.
On the way to the Port of Miami, I passed a street and saw the lot that I recognized from the pictures posted here on Unilocal by a fellow Unilocal-​er. Turning around and going back I saw the homeless on the side walk and the chain link fence and the less than perfect parking lot. Yep, this is the place. I pulled into the lot and asked the guy if it was the Cruise off side parking. Yes, it is. I don’t have a reservation, can I pay cash and park here today? Yes, I can, $ 30.
The first lot was full so the attendant said to follow him. Across the street we go to another lot that looked just like the first one, only much larger. After about 10 minutes of him figuring out where to park me and the other 6 or 8 cars now behind me he directed me to my parking spot and guided me in. So far so good.
Putting everything in my trunk (GPS, coats, a shopping bag, etc) I walk back across the street to find out about a shuttle. There they were, about 3 or 4 super sized vans. How much? $ 14 for 2 people, round trip. Here, when you get back put this big yellow sticker on your shirt and we will see you and pick you up when you return. OK, $ 44 dollars so far, saving $ 56 so far.
We and 8 others get into the van and off we go. OK, the van was not the nicest ride I’ve had. The driver made the ride go fast. Actually, very fast with lots of fast take offs, wheel squealing turns and hard brakes. 5 minutes of amusement park ride quality, we are at the cruise drop off. I tip $ 2, and we are in the building. Phew.
5 days later, we are back in the Port of Miami. We drag our luggage to the passenger pick up island and find others with a big yellow sticker on their shirt. After about a 15 or 20 minute wait, a guy walks up and said he was there to pick us up follow him. He said they (vans) had to park over there, pointing to a parking lot with about 10 vans parked there.
We follow, load the luggage and the 10 of us load into the van. A quick 5 minute ride that was much less exciting as the first one, and we are at my parking lot. A $ 4 tip, $ 48 dollars now total for 5 days, and we are in our car and driving home. My car was just as I had left it. I had $ 42 more in my pocket than if I had parked at the Port and the world is a happy place.
Would I use it again? Absolutely. Was it a nice, evenly paved lot? No. Was it safe? It had a fence around it with a gate and my car was just as I left it. You decide. As I said, I didn’t like the look of the web site reservation, so I gambled and paid when I got there. You decide.

We went on a 4 night cruise with Carnival and I used this company and lot for parking services. The online reservation was quick and easy and there were no issues when I got to the lot. The lot itself is very basic; old paved area with a fence around it in the middle of downtown, industrial Miami. There are a lot of homeless but I was never bothered by any of them (I parked by myself). After having read reviews about vandalism and safety I was hesitant to book with this company but my SUV was untouched and while I was walking through the lot to my vehicle the other cars looked fine too. I used the shuttle ($ 7 roundtrip) and had no issues — I waited maybe 10 minutes for the shuttle once getting off the boat. I would use this lot again if I ever cruise out of Miami — the price of $ 24 I paid was much better than the port charge of $ 100 to park!

I saw their advertisement on google for $ 4.50 a day and was skeptical, i asked on trip advisor and got mixed reviews, some were great and other were not so great. i decided to give them a try being that it was ½ the price of any other lot in the area. I called the phone and talked to a customer service rep named chris who was extremely helpful and accommodating, i then booked online, the site was clean and straight forward, it texted me my confirmation number, when i arrived at the lot i found a gated lot with an attendant, i showed him the text message and he let me in, it was that simple. i then waited a few minutes for the shuttle, which i had to pay $ 5 for but still overall much cheeper then any other lot even ones with free shuttles.
Upon my return, i took a $ 4 cab to the lot and picked up my car, she was safe and the exact same condition as i had left her.
Overall a great experience, i will use them again for my next cruise parking.
