Stay away from this place. Ripa has no people skills and will try to scare you into a deep cleaning that you don’t need. On top of that, they jack up prices to the point that a deep cleaning that just cost me $ 460 with a dentist who my insurance doesn’t even cover, would’ve cost me $ 1500 at this office WITH INSURANCE! Mr Ripa seemed upset when I decided to just do the regular cleaning for now, and abruptly walked away when he heard me say that.
I knew my teeth were in bad shape before visiting, so I didn’t need to watch the stupid videos as a means to scare me into getting the work done. I also wouldn’t have paid $ 30 for a «cancer screening» if I had known that all he was going to do was shine a black light in my mouth for 2 – 3 seconds. When he «finished» I said «that’s it?!». I should’ve walked out right there.
Lastly, my wife came for her appointment a few days later, even though I told her not to, and they conned her out of $ 580 for a deep cleaning with freak’n antibiotics and all despite her having perfect teeth! They even sold her a medicated wash for $ 15(charged me $ 35 for the same stupid bottle). Later, I told her to see my preferred dentist and while he didn’t want to bash these crooks, he did say that my wife had some of the best teeth he’d ever seen.
Very long story short, Google advanced aesthetics to see his reviews for the now closed Hallandale office. STAY AWAY!!!

It’s been a great experience so far at this location. Very satisfied with the staff everyone is nice and friendly. I couldn’t thank them enough not only are they professional they are great individuals.

Dr. Rippa spoke to me for about 10 minutes. However, her hygienist Christopher Blandon made my experience a very enjoyable one. I’m used to doctors offices rushing me to get to the next patient and trying to make a quick buck selling things I don’t need. However, this hygenist took his time with my cleaning, answered all my questions and educated me with different options without any hint of being pushy.
The parking situation was horrendous at this Kendall regional medical plaza, especially for a Tuesday morning. After spending over 15 minutes looking for a spot, I thought I was going to have a bad experience. Thankfully I left pleased.
