Terrible deli department. I have come back several times and this is the last time. I ordered my food ahead of time and it wasn’t ready when I got in. Everyone including the manager were joking around in the back. They were more interested in socializing then the customer and at one point, an associate told another associate to shut up. Even though this store is extremely convenient for me, I will be going to whole foods instead.

Last time I ordered from the deli was about two weeks ago for the turkey cranberry holiday sub and with all the amazing ingredients they used a dry probably more than 1 day old. I was upset but didn’t think leaving a review was necessary. Today I ordered the same foot long sub with all the fixings and again the bread was so dry and flaking that it cut the roof of my mouth! Why would someone waste bacon, turkey, smoked Gruyère cheese plus all the veggies on something that clearly is no longer edible! Bread is a perishable, hope this review helps fix the quality of subs served at this Publix!

The worst customer service all around. The Deli department is like a small Board’s Head mafia. Example, I get there and there’s one customer being served, however I noticed 2 guys were slicing his orders. When one of them finished I asked him if he could take my order, the slimy, sweaty scumbag said, «no. I have to finish his order first». so I ask the other guy if he could, said the same thing. — I walked away and went to speak with the manager. This guy reacted like he was afraid of the deli mafia crew. Obviously not cut up for the job. All Publix suck donkey balls but this is the worst.

When I have gone at lunch time to pick up something to eat during my break the lines to pay are long. there is only one express lane open and it is packed with people. During the noon to about 3 pm it is a high traffic time in the store and there are just not enough check out lanes open.

I dont know why Florida does not have normal grocery stores! It is crazy, everywhere just Publix(horrible) and Winn Dixie(little better). So little options, expensive prices and lazy people working there! I wish Florida had huge, nice grocery stores like Meijer or Kruger.

Ah its not so bad. Suits me because it is close to work and on the way home. It’s not huge but its got the basics I always seem to need. The parking system there is confusing and its always full of cranky old NY retirees with some homeless people parked outside for good measure to remind you of the NY subways, but that’s OK cos it should really inspire you to do something good for them, like buy them some food.

It’s like they took every nasty, rude person in Aventura and mixed them with a bunch of dirt bags. This place should be nuked. Try any of the other 5 markets within 1 mile. One amusing element to this Publix is the people eating in the produce area, I believe they are confusing the market with a restaurant, or maybe they think it isn’t stealing if you ingest the evidence. BONUSTIME, check out will take 2 to 3 times longer than usual due to coupon abuse. Unless of course you are behind someone that feels a coupon is the start of a negotiation, at which point it will take 5 times longer to get out. Unfortunately for Publix this place is a dud because of the patrons.
