3.5 Stars. Friendly and respectable workers from Maracay. The menu here is extensive: breakfast menu, fried corn empanadas, cachapas, sandwiches, Venezelan hamburger, arepas rellenas, main dishes(parilla, chicken, fish, pabellon criollo, pork, lasagna), soups, salads, and desserts. Everything is less than $ 10 except for the whole briolled chicken and the parilla. I just ordered the parilla criolla which comes with chicken filet a la plancha, pork chop, churrasco, and chorizo. Churrasco was not a great cut. Chicken a little dry. Pork chops were tasty and the best in the parilla. The chorizo was good too. The platter was more than enough for two, and comes with two sides(I picked tostones and salad in this case). The tostones which were chewy and tasted fresh(many other places fry them until they’re as hard as hockey pucks). And the salad was a simple house salad made with romaine lettuce(a plus in my book). Overall, for the portions and the food, I thought it was decent. For sure, I’ll come back next time to try their arepas. I saw that were huge, handmade, and were stuffed generously.
