My initial consultation with Dr. Razack was positive. He’s clearly a great surgeon and listened to my concerns. I would say the same for his P.A. However, his staff(specifically those who answer the phones) are over-worked. They never returned any of my phone calls or replied to my fax and they’re borderline rude(because they’re understaffed). I asked to have the office manager call me back, so I could complain about being on hold multiple times, and not having calls returned, but she didn’t even call me back! In fairness to the front office staff, while I was waiting in the patient area, I noticed how hard and focused they were, doing multiple tasks. So, I’m really blaming management here… not the staff. Of the 4 other surgeons I interviewed with, this surgeon’s front office staff was, by far, the worst in phone etiquette. And, I was forewarned by my referring doctor about this problem at Dr. Razack’s office.
