Two years ago, after lifting my daughters heavy luggage I zigged when I should’ve zagged.
For the next five days, I was literally immobilized with back pain. Although I was initially skeptical about chiropractors, on advice of a coworker I found Dr. Fernandez. After an interview and consultation I was set up with thrice-​weekly treatments which rapidly alleviated the severe pain. Since then, I have gone to monthly maintenance sessions and have not had a repeat of severe back pain. The office staff is always friendly and attentive. Even though they go through attrition, each new employee is as friendly as the last. The massage therapists properly apply electrostimulation and are adept at therapeutic message. Dr. Fernandez keeps computerized records of each patient which keeps track of a patient’s progress. He has a great «table side» manner and is friendly and conversant. He also offers advice and exercises for other aches and pains which I’ve had such as shoulder and leg pain, as well as a painful case of plantar fasciitis in my heel. His office coordinates with my insurance so I only incur a small co-​pay each month. The only critique I have is the office waiting area is kind of small. If you decide to go, try to pick an off-​peak time to be seen. All in all, I would recommend Dr. Fernandez to anyone desiring good chiropractic care.
