Great variety of oddities. We stumbled across this place on Saturday morning. If you’re adventurous and have some spare cash to spend take a look!

This place freaking rocks. I would never have found it despite that i used to live a few blocks away. It appears there are 3 stores grouped into one(MARKYs, Russian Store, and La Cave Gourmand. If im not mistaken, Markys is the Caviar and deli, the Russian store is, well, the Russian store, and the La Cave is the Gourmet cheese/food store you first see when you walk in. The russian store is directly to your left, same front door though. ONTOTHEGOODS: My Bosnian girlfriend heard it from a friend that this had all of her«Euro Favorites». They have seasonings, home made cakes, homemade perogies, meats, cheeses, you name it. I was like a kid in a candy store(there is a ton of candy/chocolate as well). Nothing is overpriced, and its worth a look in the store whether you have ever heard of anything russian or not. I will definitely be going back! Their tiramisu was to die for!

This place is nondescript on the outside but inside it is absolutely amazing. You would never ever know. It’s not inviting at all and the guard who opens the door for you makes the experience off putting at first but continue in as the store opens up to one of the most amazing delights — fine wines, cheese, meats, caviar, duck, lamb anything you could possible want. Also many many Russian foods that i’m not familiar with.
