I am so happy i stopped the day and time I did. I found two priceless framed old photographs of Madrid here. They are absolutely beautiful. Luckily the lady that runs this place informed me of the second print. Nice staff and great finds!

One of my FAVORITE thrift stores! This is the most«vintage» thrift store I’ve been to in Miami. Stores such as goodwill tend to have more updated items. Salvation Army consists of 90% items from the 80s. Perfect for putting together a piece. You can also find great treasures from today’s age too! Today, I found a harajuku lovers sweatshirt in PERFECF condition for only $ 4! That sweatshirt was worth at LEAST $ 50 or $ 60, knowing that company. For those of you who don’t know, harajuku lovers is a clothing/accessory/perfume company started by Gwen stefani. So yeah, like i said, TREASURES(designer brands) for cheap. Salvation Army also sells housewares like latte machine makers, lamps, and furniture! Their shoe + purse selection is small. Their clothing is organized by color, size, and type(long sleeves, short sleeves, button down, jackets, etc). They have a pretty big selection of diner ware, which is my favorite section because there’s just so many cute random cups and plates! I’ve never had a problem with this place. If I’m ever looking for something particular such as a Cosby sweater(PS I’ve had mine for a year and everyone still compliments me on it), black slacks for work, or even something to use for crafting, I can always count on Salvation Army.

I stopped here one day while stuck in traffic. Over priced for second-hand items. Especially the furniture that looked like it had been picked from the side of the road yet was priced the same as brand new ikea furniture. Come on people. Better deals on craigslist.

One of my favorite thrifts, not THE best, but pretty amazing. I found an AUTHENTIC Chanel vintage bag for $ 1.99. Yes, authentic… serial number and all! One of my best finds ever! I also found a vintage Fendi bag for $ 4, but it was half off(Wednesday everything is half off) so I got it for $ 2! It isn’t often that I find amazing things here, but when I do, I leave with a HUGE smile on my face! You have to search. SEARCH! Be patient, because behind all of the fake Louis Vuitton’s and Anne Klein bags, will be an amazing find!

Gadgets, electronics and furniture: extremely overpriced. Clothing, however… very inexpensive! Every time I’ve gone, I’ve managed to find some pretty amazingly tacky things that I can get a good laugh at, so that’s awesome. If you take the time to really search through everything, there will be some good, clean finds. There’s a $ 5 minimum on using your card, which I unexpectedly did not meet upon finding out that one of my items was actually half-priced that day because of the color of its tag(cool!), but it wasn’t anything that a 99 cent record from The Police couldn’t fix. There’s 2 fitting rooms with curtains that are sure to make you panic about someone seeing your undies since they don’t exactly cover the whole doorway, so bring a friend to your thrift store adventure. The staff doesn’t seem very patient, but it didn’t really bug me. One guy, though… totally macking it to my friend. Pretty hilarious. Overall, worth visiting, if only for the clothes.

Well, what can I say? They have great junk at great prices. The great thing is that when you go to pay the price is half of what it was marked. What a great idea! Makes me want to come back more often. Businesses should use this technique to entice customers to return. I can tell you that this place has saved me more than once for hard to find stuff. They even have some furniture that looks antiquey for close to nothing. I don’t really do clothes here, but have found some great sweaters and such. But I think people are catching on, lately the parking lot is full and the place is packed. My little secret place is no longer. some of the other reviewers claimed that the prices are high; but that is not the case at all for me. I know the goodwill on bird road is overpriced for certain, and there is another on 117th that is also overpriced and not much other than shoes and clothes to offer.

This is the best one. I’ve searched far and wide and, I have to say, I stay true. Come often, make friends, get discounts.
