This place is excellent … I love love it. The food is fresh and the staff is even nicer! I would definitely recommend this place. Get the honey mustard chicken wrap or the avocado salad mmmmm …

My favorite is the sarussi churrasco sandwich! The butter they use on top of the bread is to die for! It tastes as good as it smells. Also the people there are very nice and very efficient. The food is served as soon as it is done.

Place is extremely clean. Service impeccable. Had the churrasco and it was pretty good. You must have the yuca fries! They are amazing with the cilantro sauce it comes with. I ended my meal with a cortadito, and I was in heaven. High five, Sarussi

Asked for a churrasco bowl and they owner openly went to the Chinese restaurant that’s next door and got the rice there. Such an idiot that did not even ask for a brown bag to put the rice in. After I had my meal and he gave me my check, I gave him a little nice suggestion in a very nice manner. He said he had experience and blah blah blah! After the conversation, I asked for an espresso and he went and added the espresso to my check! LMAO! Really??? Do you charge an espresso to someone who caught you serving chinese white rice in your own restaurant? And then say you know costumer service and have experience? Good luck to you and your girlfriend kissing and cuddling in the middle of the restaurant. Very unprofessional!

Best sub I’ve ever had– the Churrasco sub. But next time I want to try the one with chorizo! The shoestring fries were also amazing. Skinny and crispy in all the right places! Also had the queso frito and will get it again. So excited to have discovered this place.

Food was your average breakfast, nothing out of this world. Waitress was rude, in a rush and didnt take the time to listen to our order fully. She didnt even offer us drinks. There was another waitress that ate out of someone else’s plate. Who does that ?!! The establishment was clean and modern.

This place is less than a block away from my house and I have eaten there in person a couple of times but what has prompted this review is the online ordering via Eat24 every single time o have ordered from their online service I have received a call saying one thing or a other from my order is out of stock. In addition they made my sub wrong every single time. The store menu has the sub prepared with onions and such. But the online menu asks what you would like on it. So they throw the stuff from the in-house menu on their anyways even though its not what was asked for

Wow is all I can say! I ordered the Sarussi Churrasco sandwich and I can’t get over how tender the steak was. This one is definitely a winner. I ordered the Green plantains and Yuca fries and they were delicious. Not greasy at all and the orders are huge. I also ordered the guava and cheese Tequenos because my husband loves them. They too were so very good that I know where I will be buying them from now on. This was a delivery order and the order came very quickly. I definitely recommend Sarussi Café Subs.

Came here because I had an Amazon Local coupon and read that this place was featured on TV and was on the top rankings of best subs in Miami. It turns out I mixed this place up with the 8th Street one because they both have the same name. Regardless, this place turned out to be above my expectations. It’s kind of a small place, and the word«café» suits the name. There’s a row of about three tables in the middle and about five«bench» tables against the far wall. I came here with a friend two months ago on a rainy Saturday afternoon around 2:30PM. Three or four of the bench tables were taken up, so the place was kinda buzzing with business. There are two overhead TVs hanging on the front and back wall with the sports channel on. The waiter spoke perfect English and was knowledgeable and friendly. I asked him what was popular since it was my first time there and he pointed out the Sarussi Original Sandwich, but his personal favorite is the Sarussi Churrasco Sandwich. I went with the Original. The food came out freshly cooked in about 10 to 15 minutes. You know this because the bun is hot! The ingredients tasted fresh and good and the bun was crispy with each bite. I would definitely come back for subs. It also felt clean. They have two restrooms, one for males and one for females, in the back corridor. The female one is a one-room/stall and is clean. This place is located close to the edge of a plaza and parking wasn’t a problem for us.

Don’t go out of your way for this sandwich! We’re from Las Vegas and saw this place featured on Man vs. Food and we were going to be in the area so we put Sarussi on our itinerary. HUGE disappointment! We ordered the Churassco and Chorizo sub as well as the man vs. food sub. Both were just so-so. It was a huge let down. I feel like I was cheated by Adam Richmond!

Visited today for dinner. I went with my twin boys. I had a Groupon of course, which indicated that I can spend $ 40 towards my food. The server was tripping because it was only three of us. I advised the server that I was gojng to spend well over the $ 40 dollars. I ordered a man vs. Food sandwich, both of my kids had a steak sandwich. The sandwiches were huge, juicy, and delicious. I can’t complain, we had a side order of mariquitas with fried cheese and cilantro sauce. I also had a mamey shake. I would come agsin, but I will try the Hialeah location, since it’s closer to me. If you haven’t had them, you should give them a try.

A little gem. Short staffed, but worth the wait. The fried cheese curds were very yummy and the sandwich was just as I had ordered. No frills, just good sandwiches.

Had the 16″ Original Sub. The meat and cheese and sauce were great… but what stood out to me was the bread. The garlic roll was toasted in a pizza oven right upon order, and was UNBELIEVABLE. Friend ordered the Honey Mustard Chicken sub which I had a taste of. I honestly liked his sub more because the honey mustard added a lot of flavor. Will definitely be back, and definitely want to try all the other subs they have to offer!

Quick summary: Food pretty good, fries were excellent, overall a very clean and friendly environment, service could have been a little quicker. Unlike most small hole-in-the-wall Latin based Miami restaurants this one was very modern and also extremely clean. All of the furniture looks relatively new and well kept. It is a sandwich shop though so keep that in mind when you go. The wait time for my girlfriend and I(who were the only people there besides one other couple) after ordering the food took about 15 minutes which doesn’t seem that long, but considering that it is advertised as a «sub shop»(which are expected to be very fast) service could have been a little quicker. I would definitely recommend the chorizo and churrasco sub that I had; this is personally the first time that I’ve had either chorizo or churrasco, and the bar was set pretty high with this restaurant’s take on it. The fries however were probably the best part, definitely some wizard enchantments going on in the kitchen to prepare those fried potatoes. Overall it was a pretty good experience; definitely order some fries when you go, you won’t be disappointed.

Immediately upon check-in my pop-up of free fries showed up which was awwwwesome! Love places that recognize their Unilocalers right away… LOL Settled for a mamey shake and a tuna melt sandwich as well as the Sarussi original. Tried both sandwiches along with their ever so famous secret sauce. Maybe it’s a matter of taste, but none of it really stood out spectacular to me. The bread had grease or some kind of oil sheen on the top that made it all shiny and the sandwich itself although good was not enough to really lure me in and make this a regular lunch spot. I think I’ll give it another shot and try out some other items on my future visits. Mamey shake was delish, but then again how can you go wrong on making a shake? Overall, a nice lunch experience with great service.
