A mom and pop joint that is definitely worth trying out. I live in the neighborhood and have come see couple of times, and each time am greeted with a friendly smile and courteous service. I highly recommend the seafood soup, the tilapia with lemon cream sauce, and ask for a side of quinoa if they have, it is super light and fluffy. Going to have to try the fried chicken wings they have as a special

Do not let the shabby exterior fool you. This place is a diamond in the rough! It’s located in a shabby, run down shopping center in Little Haiti. If you weren’t specifically looking for it you’d probably pass right by. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was made from scratch by the owners. It’s run by a husband and wife and another relative. They’re very friendly and attentive. It’s obvious they take pride in the food they serve and they want to make sure everyone is completely satisfied. The crab and beef empanadas were both delectable and the salmon in white wine sauce basically melts in your mouth. Everyone in Miami should give this place a shot. You will not regret it!

Love is their main ingredient :) the customer service is perfection. Family owned, and they make you feel like you’re part of the family. The food was to die for, especially the seafood soup!

This place really is a hole in the wall! Stumbled across it a couple of years and have loved coming back ever since. Nicholas & co are super friendly. The food is amazing! Wonderful made to order, to your specifications. My 2 faves from here are the salmon in sun dried tomato & white wine sauce and seared sesame with tabouleh. Their flan & seafood rice are also very delish. A must stop!

I’ve seen all the reviews on Unilocal most were good so gave it a shot. I started with the crab empanada it was ok, but nothing to rave about. One of the specials of the day was tilapia. This was very good. The fish melted in my mouth and wasn’t to fishy typical of tilapia. The moros were excellent. They had a good sazon to it, which was on point. The app was ok, the lunch on point. I had some shrimp and rice to go. My mom had it and said it was good. 7 seas is good, not great. 3 out of 5 still ain’t bad. I’d go twice a month.

Love this little place… Please venture into this restaurant. Very humble, food done right… A rare find in Miami… They are not trying to impress you… They want you to eat well, the owner/chef, I believe his Name is Nicolas is always very proud of what he does and he puts lots of love into his food. The menu is very simple, seafood mostly with some daily specials. His wife who os the lady behind the counter is super sweet and caring. She makes sure you are always satisfied. If you can, ask if they have«Fried Fish» it is amazing. As my friend says… «The closest to the way they do it in the Dominican Republic» Yes, forgot to mention. The place is Dominican. The Crab empanadas and their bread is a good way to start your adventure at Seven Seas. If you seat at the counter, you will have a lovely chat with both of them and they will make sure you leave there happy. Try it… You will love to sail the seven seas!

The oweners are great people, very nice and friendly. I went there based on the reviews on Unilocal,I though this place is one of those hidden gems… but I was absolutely disappointed… The fried fish I oredered was cold and soggy. It tasted like it was sitting in cold oil for hours… The side dishes were all bland. Don’t fall for the reviews on Unilocal… If you are a foodie you will be disappointed.

Wow. We ate here at 4PM and were the only ones here. My wife has a special diet and the cook confirmed what ingredients were in each item before we ordered. We got the rice soup as an appetizer and the seared tuna for the meal along with a side of grilled spinach. All of the food was excellent. There are 5 tables with 15 chairs and 4 chairs at the counter. Small but well worth it! The restaurant is in a strip shopping center and a little hard to see. This is highly recommended

Yummmmmmyyyyy! Happen to be down in little Haiti and wanted to get a bite to eat, looked on reliable Unilocal for a good spot and as usual Unilocal reviewers lead us to this great restaurant! It’s a little hidden gem in a dingy strip mall but so worth going to! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! We started with chicken empanadas that were out of this world and followed it with the most delicious seafood soup! They also have decent beer and wine to go with your meal! Finished the meal off with some great Dominican Republic coffee! The service was outstanding that the owners Nicholas & Anna gave us, they were so attentive and nice to talk to. If your ever in the area be sure to stop in! Little Haiti is becoming a nice area to shop & eat!!! Looking forward to seeing & enjoying all the new businesses opening up there!

This Is a great small(5 tables) place, family owned and operated. The family is very personable and really wants to please. The chef himself ask how I wanted the tuna cooked, it was perfect A real find in a plain strip shopping center… next to the laundrymat.

A hidden gem ! Amazing place– a kind of example you give when you say -«don’t judge the book by its cover». The fish tastes great and price is very balanced with the served portions. The owner was very charming and polite and we had a great chat. Highly recommended.

The Unilocalers never let me down. I found the hole in the wall restaurant on Unilocal. It was fabulous! Clearly run by mom-and-pop. Not fancy, but very clean. The owners take great pride in their establishment and in their food. We had the conch chowder it was filled with conch and prepared and white sauce and for the delicious flavor. We also had the whole fried yellowtail snapper. The fish was put to perfection. Well seasoned, crispy on the outside moist on the inside. Served with a side of mashed fried green plantains and some sort of vegetable medley. We ordered some sort of shrimp and rice dish. The portion was huge, the flavor was even bigger. The shrimp was plump, juicy and plentiful. The rice was cooked and seasoned in a way that I couldn’t possibly duplicate at home. To finish off our fantastic meal we had baked coconut. It was light, fresh and reminded me of a very soft macaroon cookie. As a previous Unilocaler mentioned the restaurant is located in a strip mall and the neighborhood is sort of sketchy. I felt perfectly fine and had no problems, but it is something to consider.

Hoooooow have I not gone to this place before being its 2 minutes away from my job??? Absolutely DELICIOUS food at a very reasonable price. I’ve only been once but I had the ceviche which was sooooo good and the crab empanada which was even better. All the food that was being served around me(especially the fish) looked and smelled absolutely AMAZING. My coworker had the paella style rice with shrimp and he couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. My only small complaint would be that there is no menu online and they were all out when I went to pick up as well. I am DEFINITELY going back. Also, this place is in the HOOD. I don’t mind at all, but I know others might.
