I tried their buffet today and it was delicious and it was worth the drive. I live all the way in Deerfield beach and my classmate told me that this place belongs to his mother and she is the cook and her good is delicious. Well, the food was delicious, the koobideh kabab was soft and delicious and the stews were wonderful. The also had bastani sonati which they made it. The bastani sonati was really delicious. It tasted like home made.

Came on a Sunday evening and place was empty. Lentil soup was really good! We also ordered the hummus which we thought was very bland, it could use some garlic. The beef & chicken kebab meal was shared and was very tasty with the homemade cucumber yogurt.

I tried the buffet here recently. It’s $ 16.95 and all you can eat. The buffet consisted of a curry type chicken with potatoes, chicken kabobs, sirloin kabobs, a beef and macaroni dish, 2 types of rice, a spinach dish, salad, cut up fruit, and pita bread. Most of the food was just okay. The kabobs could have used a bit more seasoning. The curry chicken and the beef and macaroni were the only 2 things I really enjoyed. And the rice pudding with rose water(the only dessert served) was also good. I mentioned the 20% off the«entire menu» that popped up when I checked in on Unilocal, but they wouldn’t honor it because it was Ramadam. So what? I honestly don’t think I would return as the food was just ordinary and bland! There are better Middle Eastern restaurants around.

Good food! Just had the jojeh lunch special and enjoyed every bite, however it did need a little salt.

This place is wonderful! I work quite close to this place & my husband & I are seriously impressed. Authentic Mediterranean cuisine for decent prices. The place is small & homey with a small market inside. Spend the extra bucks & get the green rice with your meal. It’s AMAZING.

I tried Kabab Barg. It was my first time in Shiraz restaurant. The food was great. The lady who is the owner brought us free Baghlava. Welcoming place! I enjoyed the food. I highly recommend Shiraz restaurant!

My family and I have been coming here for years. The food is so delicious. I am never disappointed when I come to eat here. Most definitely the best spot for Persian food in Miami.

In the area visiting and« Unilocaled» all the persian restaurants in the area and this one was supposedly«the best». We got there around 8:30 and not a soul was there except for the owners/waitress.(Shoulda gotten the hint, no?) our food came in a reasonable time and our waitress was very sweet. We got the hummus appetizer and the ta’adig to start. The ta’adig didn’t taste fresh but the hummus was yummy as well as the yogurt dip… for dinner I got the ghormeh sabzi and my boyfriend got the kebab plate. While waiting for that to arrive, I definitely heard a microwave go off. My sabzi was good, not great, And the kebabs were really mushy on the inside. It was weird. Maybe that was the part that was microwaved, not crispy like they should be when grilled. Each meal was missing something. Will never come back here again.

If you are Iranian and come from areas with large Persian communities such as Washington D.C./Northern Virginia, or Southern California … the unfortunate reality of south Florida is that there is a lack of good/authentic Persian cuisine, and all the options(or lack thereof) in Miami will leave you disappointed. Nonetheless, the food at this restaurant comes the closest to what Persian cuisine should be, and is definitely MUCHBETTER than the other options for Persian in Miami. Pros: The staff and owners are very nice and polite, and the restaurant is clean.

Just got back from 9 days in Istanbul and needed some excellent kabobs. Found them here. Restaurant parking can be difficult and the physical plant is unremarkable. The Iranian soap opera playing gave it some authenticity. It was late so we split a hummus plate that was good but unremarkable. We also split the special kabob plate and it was excellent. Persian flavoring is subtle but delicious. $ 29 for a plate of kabobs is not inexpensive but worth it. I enjoyed it and will be back.

Excellent Persian food. We had The Shiraz special and Ghemeh with rice. Then we had Persian tea. Everything was fresh and out of oven. However, portions are a bit small:(( I will definitely come back whenever in Miami.

I went for their sunday lunch buffet and it was disappointing. Maybe if i had ordered from their menu it would have been a different experience but their buffet was not good at all. Food was cold and lacked flavor.

The food here was so good. I didn’t even know this place existed because it’s in a weird small strip off 77th ave. My chiropractor actually recommended that my mom and I try this place for lunch and I’m happy we did. I was so happy about it, I actually decided to write a review about it on my website. :) My mom had the Greek Salad Borge witch is filet mignon, the meat was moist and soft that it literally melted in your mouth. The flavors were perfect and I would definitely recommend this for a low carb meal. I had the vegetarian soup which I was a little disappointed with. I feel the flavors could have been a bit better. The description states: spices made from scratch and honestly I felt it could have used a bit more of the spices. The soup was still good, but I don’t think I would get it again when I come back. I also got a Greek Salad, which was very fresh. I can’t wait to go back and try something else.

I went this Sunday with my husband for a late lunch. They had a buffet, but we opted to order a la carte. We started off with a hummus. For entrees, I ordered the mix of chicken kabob with rice, my husband just the kubideh with rice. The food was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. It had been a long time since we had indulged in Persian food. Good service and wonderful food. Will be back.

Went there a few times for their Sunday buffet which runs from 1 – 5 pm. I am not familiar with Persian food so I can’t name the selection, but they are all quite delicious. It’s a bit like Indian food without the spiciness. There are lamb and chicken kebab, and the lamb is very tender and tasty. We have also tried a chicken and potato stew, some stewed okra and stewed beans. There is a lentil beans side dish cooked with dried lemon, giving them a very interesting sourness I haven’t tried before. Similarly I saw a dish with chopped up spinach and beans which looks very similarly to the Indian saag. Except that it’s citrusy instead of creamy spiciness. So, things look familiar but the flavor is exotic. We also had two lentil-based soups, salad and rice. We didn’t see the green rice mentioned by other Unilocalers but there was a pilaf with lentil and beef. There was also a dessert, so fragrant with rose water I felt like eating my grandma’s soap and expected myself to pop bubbles should I burp. The two waitresses are also very nice in explaining about the food, and keeping eyes on the food to see what runs low. If someone takes all the tomato out of the salad, they will even bring out extra tomato… real nice as most places won’t refill till the whole tray runs low. Not a whole lot of varieties, but the buffet was well maintained and the dishes prepared with care. Will definitely come back.

Great little market and friendly service… great family place with delicious Persian food! My default is the fish kabab with the green rice(made with dill)…because the fish is always fresh and meaty, you won’t regret trying it! I bought a box of the date cookies from the market area for home… delicious!
