French onion soup, at $ 13, had onion peel in my first spoonful. Onion peel shows a lack of concern to quality. Worse, when I tried to tell a manager, he told me he was on break. The nerve! This review won’t change a hungry consumer from taking one’s chances, but here’s hoping the Shula corporation takes a hard look at this mediocrity.

Try to realize anything in an airport especially Miami International Airport is subpar. Think about it, the likelihood of you coming back are slim so they don’t really have to serve you quality food. ALL of the employees in the airport barely speak English so you won’t get anyone to understand what you want. My advice is go to Starbucks get a muffin and jump on your flight. The food here sucks!!! I know I work here.

Food was devoid of taste. Seared tuna steak is about the easiest thing in the world to make, but if you forget salt, it’s just not very good. The wasabi sauce lacked any depth except horseradish(again, underseasoned) and the seaweed salad couldn’t save it. Terrible beer list and barely mediocre(yet pleasant) service. Bad even for an airport.

Service was ok, they were able to get us food to-go so we could take it on our flight. Prices were incredibly high and the burger was not that great. They would only cook it medium well which is not what I wanted. Oh well, don;t need to go back…

Wow, I was really surprised by my experience at a Shula’s Restaurant. I ordered a Shula burger well done; I actually repeated the request to my server twice, once in Spanish and once in English. After a few bites into the burger I noticed that the burger was cooked to a bloody medium-rare. I brought this to the attention of the server and he apologized and took the burger away. I was shocked when he returned a few minutes later with the same exact burger only cooked a little longer. I was shocked that he brought back the same burger and I was even more shocked that he still charged me for a burger that was still not well done. Well I would like to write more, but I have to run to the bathroom to deposit my $ 15 burger where it belongs.
