Siati Express

DO NOT USE SIATI EXPRESS IF YOU HAVE ANY ALTERNATIVE.
I have had a very bad experience with Siati Express and I could not recommend them. You should use a different company, based on my experience.
I shipped a package there for a customer, and it was scanned by the postal service as delivered, but the customer then called and told me the package was not delivered and had been sent to the wrong address. The package WAS sent to the correct address (Siati) and the post office scanned it upon delivery. However no one at Siati can find the package. So instead of taking responsibility, someone at Siati tried to convince the customer that we had sent it to the wrong place. When shown proof that it was sent to the correct address and had been scanned on delivery, they said they would «investigate» and then stopped returning my emails asking for the status of their investigation. As a result of their losing the package I then had to send a second item to the customer at my expense. I cannot claim insurance because the post office insists it was delivered to Siati. So is this just incompetence or outright fraud? I do not know… but I would not recommend doing business with them if you have any other options. For sure, they have refused to take any responsibility and have apparently actively tried to mislead the customer into thinking it was not their fault.
UPDATE: just got a reply from Susana at Siati with the results of their «investigation»: «Sorry but the Mailman told us that he haven’t received anything either Saludos Cordiales»
«OH SUSANA.». SORRY… THE PACKAGE WAS SCANNED ON DELIVERY, TO SIATI’S CORRECT ADDRESS. I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE THINK IF THEY JUST KEEP REPEATING SOMETHING OVER AND OVER IT WILL BECOME THE TRUTH SOMEHOW.
