Cute but Meh! The service was about 3 stars as well. Friendly enough to get by. Tomato basil soup like ketchup watered down. Sandwich grilled with so much butter I had to hold with a napkin. Guess it just wasn’t my day for a good lunch. Cupcakes looked lovely but I didn’t try them. First and last visit.

I found this place on Unilocal when looking for a place to meet my family members ½ way between my home in MO and their home in Tulsa. This will become a stopping place for me whenever we are on the Turnpike going through Miami — well worth the stop. They have a variety of soups and sandwiches and with a group of nine, we tried several selections and they were all delicious. The best selection for us all was the Super Sweet Trio — a whole sandwich, a choice of soup or other side, chips, and a pastry. I had the roast beef, toasted, and the Taco Tortilla soup. The soup was very tasty, lots of flavor depth and I could have had a bowl and been fine with that. The roast beef sandwich was very good and I ended up taking ½ of it home, along with my pastry selection. Now, the pastry selections. All of the cupcakes are beautiful and taste as good as they look. We couldn’t try them all, but the blueberry cheesecake was devine. We brought home some iced sugar cookies and several other cupcakes and can’t wait to try them. Again, get off the turnpike and try this place. It only takes about 5 – 10 minutes to get there once you leave the turnpike, easy off and on. We will make this a regular stop when in the area. I wish we had something like this in our small town!

Came in finally after my wife has told me how good this place was for so many times. I couldn’t go before cause of work but being off for the holidays I met her there for lunch today. All I can say is amazing. The food was delicious the staff so so so sweet. Old downtown building they did really pretty. Wish I worked in Miami so I could eat there more often. God bless you all and MERRYCHRISTMAS

Good spot for lunch. Firebird sandwich is my favorite. Have had their salad as well. It was very good as well. Desserts aren’t quite as good as they look.

This little gem is great. Love having this here in my home town. Great sandwiches, soups, and the baked items are fantastic. If you enjoy sweets this is the place for you. Or if you want a lunch spot that can make a sandwich better than you can at home this is that place. The staff and owners are friendly and the prices aren’t terrible either.

This is quite possibly the world’s girliest restaurant and I love it in spite of that(maybe in part because of that!?) Anyway — if you find yourself in Miami, you need to check it out if you even remotely enjoy sandwiches, soup, and/or cupcakes. It is great. They will tell you the cheapest way to go is «a trio» which includes a pastry and that’s true. I didn’t listen and wound up with less food than I could have had for just another buck or so. Anyway, no problem as the meal was awesome. I had the turkey bacon club and the most divine vanilla cheesecake cupcake. It was ridiculously good. My club came with tomato which I am not particularly a fan of and usually remove, but when I started to do so it was these quite lovely thin slices of Roma and I just kept it on, and it was delicious. I tried my husband’s coleslaw(homemade) and raspberry poppyseed cupcake and gave those two thumbs up also. I will likely come back here any time I happen to be in the area during their hours of operation. This place is also huge with plenty of room for small groups, clean, manages to seem quaint and a bit more«hip» or upscale than you would expect — somehow at the same time. The counter staff was unusually helpful and nice. Very impressed by this place on all counts!

Not a local, but visiting town with a friend and was very impressed with this place. The staff was friendly and didn’t make us feel rushed through even though a line had formed behind us newbies. We both got the trio; sandwich, soup or salad, and side, PLUS a pastry! Only $ 9. It was a ton of food and very tasty. My friend and I definitely could have shared it(next time!). Something about the bread made it so delicious. Don’t know what it was, but I liked it! Had to take my cupcake to go because I couldn’t eat it even without finishing all my food. Only been there once, but would make this a regular spot if I was in town more often!

An oasis in a fast-food wasteland. We are enjoying our road trip down Route 66 but the food is generally abysmal with the occasional bright spot. This is one of them. They have great sandwiches — the BLT was excellent with high quality bacon and sweet toasted bread. Homemade creamy cole slaw. They also have fresh soups and salads. The atmosphere is cozy and clean and fresh-feeling. The people are friendly. We even bought sandwiches for tomorrow’s lunch since at least we’ll be sure to have some good food for the road ahead. There’s also a good coffee shop next door for cappuccinos.

Great restaurant with a nice atmosphere! Everyone is very respectful and always making sure you don’t need anything! I was here during a business trip and enjoyed it a lot! I like how it is connected to Chapters which is a bookstore with a Starbucks inside. Very cozy and comfortable!

I’d give this place 10 stars if I could. My favorite sandwich is the BLT. Unlike any BLT you have ever had. Hard to describe, just get it. Love the bake beans too. I’ve had several items on the menu but always go back to this. Very clean. Cupcakes are scrumptious. I eat here often.

I had the Trio. Jalepeno Chicken Salad on a Croissant with soup, chips and a sweet. Very mild and could not taste any Jalepeno. None the less it was good. The soup I chose was Chicken vegatable– a little too salty and too many carrots but it was still tasty. Ruffles chips. The Strawberry cloud cupcake was moist and delicious! 5 stars for the cupcake. Carrot cake is average. The Coconut tart was awesome too. A variety of different types of cupcakes. Sweet tea was good and not sickeningly sweet. Lunch time was steady with business. Plenty of seating and a lot of To Go orders. Reasonably priced lunch and daily specials. Located on Main St– downtown.

We stopped in for a quick bite of food on our Route 66 trip and found a real gem of a restaurant. I had the BLT and in my opinion it was the best I have ever tasted. Over the course of my fire department career I have tasted several variations of this simple dish, but this was hands down the best. I highly recommend eating at Souper Sweets. Good service, and great food.

Great food but over priced for what you get in my opinion. I believe they price high to cater to a higher class of people and to discourage some of the poorer folk from eating there. Location is nice on Main street but parking can be a problem as there is only street side parking. Friendly staff and always clean on the inside, I would recommend for a business lunch or a 2nd date but its not a daily eatery due to the price for me.

I was pleasantly surprised to find Souper Sweets in Miami. I was passing through town and hoping to grab a quick lunch, but I was determined to avoid fast food chains. This place was a great find. In retrospect the name should have cued me off… but at first I thought it was just a bakery with cupcakes, cookies, and desserts. Luckily, they have the window etchings showing they serve soups, salads, and sandwiches. I ordered the four cheese grilled cheese with a side of tomato soup and a side salad. The grilled cheese was really good. The tomato soup was a little more«brothy» than I like(I like it a little more creamy), but the taste was very good. The salad was the weak link and could be improved with a little effort. They make everything from scratch here and it is quite tasty. A restaurant of this caliber could survive in a big city and here it is in Miami, OK. I would pick this place over and over before I went to some other restaurant for lunch. They close at 4pm so don’t plan on getting an early evening meal. The owners are very nice and take pride in what they are doing. I hope more people will populate Souper Sweets and choose home-made over fast food chains.

Nice bakery with large selection of cupcakes and cookies and pastries, good salads and great BLT’s. The Bacon is very good(thick, sweet and smokey), any dish they serve with bacon is a good choice.
