Stand Up Mri of Miami

Very unprofessional!!! I had a MRI scheduled for 6:30 a.m. on Sunday (the ONLY time they could get me in). I arrived at 5:45 a.m. because they asked me to be there at 6:00 a.m. They even called the day before to confirm and remind me to PLEASE be on time. I arrived to find them not opened. I sat outside in the parking lot until 8:00 a.m. I called every 15 minutes, of course to no answer. Finally, a young man answered about 9:30 a.m. and gave me attitude when I explained what I had been through. He told me, «well, I just got a call about 20 minutes ago to come in. Come back if you want to.» I went right back and there was only one other patient. I don’t understand why 6:30 a.m. was their ONLY available appointment this morning if NOBODY else was waiting for an MRI. No apology, no phone call from the message I left at 8:00 before I left. I guess if I hadn’t called back, I never would have heard from them and would not have gotten my MRI which I needed to take to the surgeon on Monday morning. NEVER again. I at the least expected an apology or explanation. Certainly not the atitiude I was given.

September 5,2015, Approximately 10:20 a.m. I Stacy C. a guess of Michael B. my nephew. Michael and I was waiting in the lobby, at your Miami Office 1661 SW 37^th avenue. We both had to use the restroom. Michael asked Sandra first, if he can use the restroom and was told to wait. We waited 5 minutes. Then I went to asked Sandra, to use the restroom, She told me to wait until she finished registered a patient. I let her know, that I had irritable bowel syndrome (ibs) there no more time to wait. She ignored my medical condition. I had to yell at her because I was second from desecrating on myself infront of a lobby full of people. There is no need to be treated in such a horrible way. I have been living with this condition for more than five years and NEVER had an detestable experience. I was embarrassed because a lobby full of people knows my medical condition which I try to keep private. I will post my experience on Unilocal.And other site. I don’t want my experience to happen to anyone else…

The staff at Standup MRI are very professional and go beyond their duties. I give them 5 stars based on their kindness and compassion. Having mobility issues is harder than you think and they took the time to ensure I got my studies done. Thanks to all the staff from clerical to clinical. Your time and efforts did not go unnoticed.

As a proud card carrying member of the claustrophobic community, I am obviously not a fan of MRIs. Having to lay down in a narrow tube for 15 mins at a time to get a cervical MRI can be a traumatic experience for many of us. Fortunately, there is now an alternative method to taking an MRI. Gone are the days of having to lay down in a tube as there is now a seated, upright MRI which I can sincerely endorse as claustrophobic friendly. They even have a TV that you can watch to make the experience that much more comfortable. The staff at Stand-​Up is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them and will definitely return to their facility if I ever need an MRI in the future.
