I went here because my usual nail place was about a two hour wait. How bad can they be? They’re terrible! They made me bleed during my pedicure and my manicure looks like a two year old did it!!! Don’t even get me started on cleanliness! Ewe! I pray I don’t get an infection from this place.

Why did I not read the reviews before going in. So, I went to GoodYear Auto to get my tire fixed. Saw the Nail Salon and went there out of pure convenance. First thing I noticed was this was an OLDer generation owned nail spa. Nail colors were far and few for Gel options. I did manage to fine a nice color though. Lets begin, It took her forever to get the gel polish that was already on my nails off. She didn’t have much patience for the nail polish remover to do it job when she initially wrapped it.(For those who do gel, you know what I’m talking about. ;D) lol She than busts out with the machine filer. Which I loath because it destroys your nail bed. Anyway, she goes back and forth between the machine and the scrapper. The scrapper hurt since she kept missing and scrapping my skin instead. I excepted the filer machine just because of that. Uhhh… It gets worse! The utensils used, AREUSED! This is a big no no for me. I didn’t see her pull them out of a packet, solution, cleaning machine, or anything!!! Cuticle cutting time… She cute me once, and from that point on she barely touched my cuticles. I didn’t make a stink of it, but I was bleeding so she freaked! (THISISTHEOWNERDOINGMYNAILSFYI) Unusually, once the manicure was done she put lotion on my arms. It’s usually done after nail polish is finished. I washed my hands and was dreading what the nail polish job was going to be like. The UV light machine was out dated. I tried my best to get my nails directly under the light. It was extremely difficult by the way, since it was to shallow. After two coats and the top clear coat was done. She had to redo both my thumbs. They were not dry. After getting a good look my left pinky has a fiber under the polish. The polish is runny on the sides. Very sad since I will be going out of town on vacation. Most likely will get them redone out of state.

HORRIBLEJOB. Got 3 cuts. Sloppy acrylic nails. Disgusting and extremely slow for a bad job! Painful pedicure. They don’t speak or understand English I don’t know how they are in business. My worst nail experience. I got a full set the next day.

This place gave me the most painful manicure of my life. The gentleman that worked with my acrylics had no mercy and even made my nails bleed. When I complained he didn’t seem to care. It almost seemed like I bothered him. When I asked for my acrylics to be taken off, my nails were destroyed, the man all but yanked them off. Definitely stay away from here unless you enjoy pain!

I’m not going to lie… I was NERVOUS! Having read all the reviews, I didn’t know what to expect but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. After two weeks of not seeing my nails done, I HADTO give in. This was closest to the house for me, the price was right $ 20AND they were willing to take walk ins… I get shellac manis because they last longer than the usual and my nails could always use a bit more strengthening. I walked in and waited about 10 mins before Amy started on my pedicure. Their color selection leaves a little to be desired BUT overall it was a good pedicure and outside of a little snip when she cut the side of my toe(eek!), it was an overall good experience. I would go back & that’s saying a lot!

3or 4th time there and still haven’t had the best pedicure of my life!!! Today was horrible! I got the worst pedicure I have ever had!!! She asked if I wanted my nails cut and I said yes– she only cut my 2 big toes! WTH THen she kept turning that damn chair on after I kept turning it off! I chose an orange color that she painted on like a 2 year old!!! I couldn’t believe it, i told her to take it off and I chose another color. Long story short, my feet looked exactly the same as they did when i went in– just a different color polish! I will never patronize that place again!

I went to this place for years, until they spilled acetone on my friends $ 500 Michael Kors purse her mom had bought a few days before. They wouldn’t even pay for the damages, never again.

I have been going to Star Nails for 12 years. Everyone is friendly and the salon is very clean. Lisa and Lil are perfectionist and always take their time and do such an amazing job! My paint usually last 2 weeks until my next appointment.

Most painful pedicure ever. It wasn’t only that the nail tech CUT my cuticle which bled and hurt for hours afterwards(including when I went to bed that night) and only that when she massaged my legs it was SCRATCHY, which was weird and painful, but ALSO that the stupid chair was one of those massage chairs in which the rolly-thing was in the bottom position and had no padding and HURT — so I had to sit leaning forward the whole time, which the tech noticed and did NOTHING about. By the time she was done my pedicure, I knew I was never going back. You shouldn’t even bother giving it a try.
