We were in Miami for a bachelorette party. Of course we needed to have one raunchy show, and we chose this club. We bought tickets online. First of all, when we got there they would not let us in until we paid another 20 $ each for drinks(we felt like there website was misleading on this). Then the worst was our experience with the manager CHRISTIAN. Christian is NOT what a manager should be like. He mistreated us from the beginning. We had a pregnant girl(I know, shes a cool prego) who wanted to sit in an empty chair, and Christian told her she had to get off the chair unless she paid another $ 25. Are you kidding me!!! Then when she took her time to get up he threatened to call security. He then took the chair when she got up and literally shoved one of the girls as he walked away!!! It seemed every move you made, Christian was right there charging you an extra fee and when you didn’t want to do it, he gave you so much attitude. I’m surprised he didn’t charge us for oxygen! We are all so used to managers being friendly, attentive, accomadating and understanding. Christian is NONE of these. Also, venue is not what it appears on the website. Its a dirty small hole in the wall.

Its an awesome place. Was there for Lookas on a Saturday Night and did VIP which for a House Whiskey at $ 190 was super good pricing compared to other places. Security was top notch! Lookas played an amazing set! Of course my people and I said EON at the door. The ladies got in free and us guys paid reduced. I will recommend it on Saturdays for there Madhouse Saturday events.

First off, staff member charge for water which if free. I get chaged 1.00 for tap weater. Later I get chared $ 7.00 for bottle while my husband gets charged $ 6.00 for a bottle. Guess it depends on the mood of the bartender or how you look. Next time? I guess the price depends on the mood of who ever is serving. Music is great. Tickect redemption if accurate. We will definitely return.

1st time here last weekend as an out-of-towner. Did my research on DJ’s spinning in Miami and Sydney Blu @ Steam on Sat night seemed to be most in-line with my music preferences. So I Über’d my way over from SOBE. From the moment I got there, everyone was very welcoming, friendly, and genuinely happy to make sure I was having a good time… from the doorman, to head of security(who gave me his card), bartenders, everyone. All the patrons I talked to were chill, open, and there to have a good time. Sydney Blu rocked it. By the end of the night, made some new friends, danced a bit, and just had a killer time. Seems like a great spot to hear a talented DJ, without any pretentiousness from staff or patrons. Everyone seems to just want to have a good time. Kudos.

It is a very good place. And yes, I loved Vagabond. It has a lot of potential. If it were my place. I would put old school hip hop outside and house music inside. That would make it perfect.

I came to this place to check it out after Vagabond closed… thinking it will still be somewhat of the same vibe… but I was wrong. The bartenders like to chit chat a lot and not pay attention to any customers. I think they care most about their booty shorts looking good than serving a decent beer to a client. But anyways, other than that the music is pretty lame. I went outside to have a smoke and some DJ kept playing this techno tune, oh so repetitive… it was killing me and ultimately killed my vibe so I just left. I don’t think I’d come back anytime soon. Its a shame this place replaced Vagabond. This place is like the same vibe you can get at any Miami club«tech music, booty shorts narcissistic bartenders, and not a lot of interesting people. If you want a semi good time, visit Gramps in Wynwood.

First I gotta say I miss vagabond. Vagabond was awesome cool relax chill place to listen to some music and hang out by the fire place. Steam is a cool place, I didn’t get to experience the outside when I went because they were having a paid event and I was there for a birthday, so we hung out inside. They have house music but not super annoying repetitive house. They have girls dancing with skeletons and on poles(?) it’s entertaining to watch. It is super loud though and there’s a log of fog(?) so it is hard to see and hear the people you are trying to hang out with. I am more of a lounge type of girl than I am a club girl so this place gets 4 stars. The drinks aren’t too expensive and it was easily getting them because the place was relatively empty. Parking is difficult and the area is super shady so take Über if you can.

Emailed Steam twice during the week for bottle service Friday and no one responded. Made two calls to the number listed on the website, mailbox was full. Went Friday 9÷5÷14 and walked in a little after midnight. No one was there. Went back around 1 am a few people outside in the back(maybe 40 people) inside was closed. It’s unfortunate because the venue is very cool, but owners need to invest is some good marketing. Highly doubt I will be returning.

Just previewed this weekend but an interesting experience. Our weird occurrences were on a smaller scale than maybe what was advertised but it was definitely different. Starting out it seems that drink prices($ 10) and dare I say bottle prices($ 350 – 400) seemed downright reasonable? Crowd was eclectic and DJs were danceable. Bartenders were VERY courteous and attentive. Unlike some places downtown who claim to be lounges or bars who try to switch over to the uhntz dance club after midnight & it just doesn’t fit, Steam gets it right by telling you upfront that’s what they’ll be playing from the get go. They’ve got room to grow but it was a solid kickoff!

Very COOL!, Just enough edge. The location of the DJ’s is perfect. And they were too. Love a soft opening, because you get the FEEL if it’s good or not, real fast. We went early to have a look, wanted to watch it build. And it did not disapoint! The performers were working their game, good. The staff friendly, from the door to the hostess, plenty of bartenders, drinks nice size and the right price. PR gal Michelle delightful. The joint is HOT and very COOL. Go there. Music and sound were great, not too loud. Just Right! All they need is Delaplaine Champagne! Anthony Moretti and Russell Bruce know what they are doing! Good for them, they have a HIT!

A new and interesting place, the shows are incredible and ambiance is very chill. I will effeminately be booking a table next time I go, so I can have a nice place to chill with friends and watch the show. A table is not needed, but I would highly recommend it.

I’m really excited for Steam to open. I was lucky enough to see the interior and it’s been completely remodeled with great art direction and vibe… and best of all craft cocktails. Count me in.
