I’m not sure why I ever bothered stepping foot into this place with a choice like 1909 across the street, but in those moments of weakness, I have been nothing less than appalled at the quality(or lack thereof) that continues to perpetuate from this shack of mediocre yeasty concoctions with the noticeable lack of protein, veggies and condiments. Basically, you can expect to be shuffled down the line by a moody«SANDWICHARTIST»(Ha!) who feels that offering you a fair amount of black olives would be detrimental to the world’s supply of nutrients. Don’t bother. You’ll only leave hungry and smelling of processed bread.

I don’t know why I keep forgetting how awful this particular Subway is. The food is fine but what kills this location is the employee(s) who are constantly being stingy with the toppings. You ask for black olives on a 6″ sub and they spread THREE slices of olives over the whole sandwich. Pickles? Two slices for you. And if you ask for«more» of anything they add one extra pickle/olive/etc. «A little more»? Congrats, you got another slice! This has been going on for at least a year. Maybe it’s part of their new training manual. Maybe I’m spoiled because I used to eat at the Subway at the UM campus which was great because the food was always fresh and the service was very fast.

I think they should get rid of all the Subways. Great way to start my review. It seems from my experience over the years that they are all trained the same way; pick the veggies with the tip of your fingers and spread over the 6″ of footlong sub. It is the most annoying thing to see how they choose 2 slices of tomatoes to spread over the entire sub and if by mistake they grab 3 slices they will defenitely put the third back in the can. This place on Bird Road is just as bad as the others. The place is clean since it’s pretty new but i will never eat here or in any other Subway ever. The best choice for a sub is to get it from Publix where they give you so many choices and veggies and the meat and cheese is cut fresh. You have to tell them at Publix to stop instead of asking them for a little bit more.
