I never thought I would leave a negative review on Unilocal but boy am I disappointed. I bought a $ 160 facial package from Jonathan after being treated great the first time I went (which was with a Groupon). Once I left and my credit card was charged, I was unable to book any more facials! Every time I would confirm an appointment, Jonathan would cancel it and reschedule. After attempting 3 times to book an appointment online to no avail, I called and texted him. I even tried to get a hold of the business through social media. It’s like he picked up the money and disappeared. I’m demanding my money back before I get a lawyer to sort this out. I truly thought I had found my ideal place but he’s completely unprofessional and a SCAM.

after a wonderful experience, I trusted in the company and booked and paid for a series of facials, I have yet to receive any services. I made an appointment which i received a cancellation email the day of the appointment. As I found this odd, I passed by to find a note on the door stating a family emergency. I understand things happen. In good faith, I scheduled another appointment, this time over 2 months later. Same thing, the day of the appointment I receive an email cancellation. No reason, just an email stating my appointment is cancelled. I called and the mailbox is full. Before filing a dispute with my credit card I looked on Unilocal to find out i am not the only one.

This is the first negative review that I leave on Unilocal…
After a successful facial that I purchased on Groupon, I purchased a package for 13 facials from Jonathan. I went to my first facial about a month and a half ago. Everything went well, and I was satisfied with the service. I scheduled my 2^nd facial for two weeks ago at 3:00 PM. I arrived 10 minutes early to my appointment, but the front door was locked. I knocked, I called every phone number that I could find for The Body Bar online, and I even sent an email. The phone number said that the voice mailbox was full. I waited for 35 minutes outside the door, and no one ever opened or responded to my calls. I finally left a note on a piece of paper, and slipped it though the mail drop box that was at the front door. Two weeks have passed, and I have not received any response from them. I paid for 13 facials and only received 1!!! I am extremely upset about this, as he stole my money. I don’t understand what is gong on, and I want my money back!!! I can’t believe that I trusted this place enough to buy the package…

Giving this place a 1 star because that’s the minimum I can rate them in order to write the review.
I scheduled my appointment for today (10÷27÷15) at 11:10am. I arrived 10 mins earlier. The door was locked which I found strange. I called both numbers on the door. The first # was disconnected and the 2^nd # was their corporate office which directed me to the appointment hotline. I called that number and no respond, the voicemail was full. As I peaked through the window, I notice that no one was in there and the spot where I’m assuming will be the place for the facial was filled with things on top.
That’s very poor service and disrespectful to of my time.

I wish I could give this place a negative 1. I booked my appointment online for a facial session I purchased through Groupon. They make you fill out some info and need a credit card in case there is a cancellation and to charge the tip.
The day before my scheduled appointment, they charged my debit card $ 13.50 for the tip. The day of, I received a text message stating «THE BODY BAR: Emergency cancelation: Electrical Components of Machine are being repaired. We will contact you to re-​schedule. Thank you, have a great day.»
I’ve left 3 messages within 3 days and NO ONE has called me back. I emailed groupon to ask for my money back. I’ll be contacting my credit card company to dispute their $ 13.50 charge since no service was provided.

He was rude when I called to schedule an appointment for a facial I bought on Groupon. Kept telling me I would be charged $ 25 if I cancelled or arrived more than 10 minutes late. I made sure to leave for my appointment extra early. While I am driving to the appointment, I receive a text message canceling it! This was just 39 minutes prior to my appointment. I want a $ 25 credit for the late cancellation!

my experience at the body bar was phenomenal! Jonathan is extra knowledgable, has a great attitude, and is very professional. He does everything fast and efficient, satisfying my every need. He explained step by step everything he was doing providing me with an exceptional facial. I’ve already booked my next appointment

I’ve had a couple of facial blackhead extractions done, but the one here offered by Jonathan at The Body Bar is by far the best one. He uses professional tools and techniques that result in a clean and minimally red face. His suggestions and knowledge on the subject matter were very impressive, and he gave me a ton of samples that will help my skin type! Will definitely recommend this place and I’ll be coming back soon. Thanks, Jonathan!
