This place has the best Middle East food that I have eaten in my life even though the place is pretty small it has awesome food, their meat and chicken are seasoned with a very good combination of spices, also the desserts are very good they have a pretty good variety of them and the owner is very friendly. I really recommend this place.

Delish and a good value we had falafel, baba ghanouj, and shawarma. This joint is a finders keepers local place with no viable dine in option but the owner is sweet and navigates this packed to the brim place with a smile as he serves up authentic and relish options. Vegetarian friendly!!!

Good food at a slightly higher than it’s worth price. Granted, I went on a Sunday afternoon and that’s no time to judge the food. There was a long line. Surprisingly the chicken was overcooked and dry but everything else was top notch. I really like schwarma and this was ok not awesome.

Great chicken shawarma with 6 different flavors of Baklava. I had the almond and the hazelnut and both were fantastic. Also for $ 10 the shawarma was more than a full meal so you definetelt get your moneys worth of a portion.

Ali the owner is awesome. He’s a world traveled chef with great taste and really cool stories. This is my go to spot for spinach pies, babaganoush, hummus, falafal, lamb sandwiches, and feta cheeses. Feta plural? Yes! French, Bulgarian, and more. If you like desserts. … you have to come try all his. Everything is made fresh in house. Sunday is whole wheat day, my favorite!

Awesome service. They have been in business for 27 yrs, falafel was amazing as well as the kibbeh. Definitely coming back for more.

This place is a little gem. Don’t go here expecting a swanky place, or even a bright modern store. This place is a hole in the wall. But the food is fresh, one of the few places in the area where you can find lunch options for a vegetarian. The two men who helped me(one behind the counter, manning the single aisle store; the other handling the cooking in the back) were both very pleasant and attentive. A previous reviewer summed it up right; like your grandfather looking over you to make sure you’re eating well. Minimum credit card purchase is now $ 12, but that wasn’t hard when I added a small order of tabbouleh(he put the olive oil and lemon in for my lunch) to my falafel sandwich(two small pita-wrapped sandwiches… so good). I had also gotten one spinach pie; a bit too acidic for my taste, but an interesting blend of flavors, I think there might have been fennel in there, too. I also couldn’t resist getting their packaged falafel mix and coconut macaroon mix from the store shelves to take home. If I can make these same falafels at home, then double win! 4 stars for the food quality and service. I didn’t give it 5 stars only because the space is very small and packed, so I wanted to be fair for those expecting a «Five Star» restaurant.

Like the food here very refreshing when you only have Italian and American restaurants around. Will always come back

Come here for lamb gyros! They are so deliciously home made and tender! You will find many exotic grocery needs from here for an excellent price. Also, Ali, the owner, is the sweetest. If the food won’t do it, Ali will keep you coming back.

Stopped in on a lark. I was in the area, I was hungry, and I wanted it a gyro. Only thing missing from this perfect storm was George Clooney’s beard. It’s more shop than restaurant, and the walls are lined with products from Israel, Jordan, Palenstine(their labeling; don’t you dare start a geopolitical argument on my review), Turkey, and so on and so on. Two-to-three tables sit at the entrance, and the counter sits on the far end of the restaurant. Above the counter are pictures of about nine items. I ordered the gyro, and while I waited, I walked up and down the quaint(read: cramped) store, looking for a few items that might get me to the twelve buck debit card minimum(the gyro and soda only came out to like eight). Once, I’d picked out a few cans of hummus and a box of cous cous, I sat down to two wonderful gyros. (Side note: cornichons abound. I don’t like them, and you shouldn’t either.) The gyros — fairly traditional: tzatziki, tomatoes, and meat wrapped in light pitas — were very good, and I would undoubtedly order them again, but what makes this place is that it’s a market. The kind of place you picture you might stumble upon somewhere far away. The owner was short(in response) but very attentive, and he was almost like your grandfather begrudgingly fixing you a plate and watching to make sure that you loved it.

Great shawarma, and baklava. The home made spicy dip for the shawarma was deliciousness. The walnut baklava was super yummy. The meat pies were okay

Baklava is amazing, sweet and not too nutty. Meat(schwarma) is really flavorful and has the right spices they really are authentic here.

I’ve been eating at this place almost religiously at least once a week since it’s close to where I work. Hands down BEST shawarma, hummus, kibbe, pita falafel, and pretty much anything Syrian/Palestinian you will ever have in South Florida. The owner and his sons are the nicest people you will ever meet(heck, they won’t even let you tip them for the great food and service they just provided to you, that’s unheard of in this country), and despite being Middle Eastern, speak Spanish almost like a native Cuban. I love this place and am happy to have taken the plunge that one time a few years ago despite people telling me it was NOT a restaurant, only a Middle Eastern mini-market. Like others have said already, you cannot go wrong with this place if you love Middle Eastern food.

Why got to Whole foods or Fresh market, When you can get freshly made pita bread, hummus, babaganoush Or tabuleh? Even olives, yogurt and philo. This is a no miss. The appearance its not The Best. it’s more of a small market than a restaurant. But the owner/cook it’s extremely friendly speaks English, Spanish &2 more language and will be more than glad to advise you On what to try and what to buy. Best kept secret!!!

I’m writing this review for the kebab shop that’s in the back of this grocery store. The kebab’s are excellent. Strengths: 1) Lots of choices — gyro, shwarma, adana kebab, shish kebab, etc. Also you can choose between 2 different types of pita — greek bread which is what typically you have with gyro in the US, and traditional pita which is the type you fill instead of roll. Also they have lots of toppings 2) Tastes great 3) Good selection of middle eastern desserts. Baklava is great. 3) Quick and Inexpensive What could be better: One time the guy who prepares the food had a severe cold. I thought he should have stayed home instead of engaging in food preparation.
