Oh my gosh, I have gone on and off and forget to post. They really do a good job — I was on a diet and asked for grilled chicken breast(which I actually do NOT like), loved it!!! The portion was more than sufficient, the chicken was perfectly grilled — it was thin and NOT dry and I asked for spinach with garlic, again, perfectly prepared. They offer a $ 10.00 lunch. I was there the other night, had no idea they have ½ price pasta on Monday nights– I had the strozzapreti(the waiter was kind enough to write it down for me), it was simply amazing — it’s a noodle that was thick, like eating a thinner sliced dumpling with a braised ossobuco sauce and green peas was out of sight. If you go on a Monday, during Happy Hour, AND order the ½ price pasta — what a deal! Highly recommend it.

Via Verdi in Miami specializes in rustic Italian cuisine. It has an outdoor bar where you can enjoy different and interesting cocktails that come with sweet bacon. It has good food quality but the place is so spacious that it’s hard to feel the vibe of a good ambience. They offer daily Happy Hours, fixed priced dinners, and they also have a small area for private events. What we liked the most: Risotto with patagonia shrimps, pesto and burrata

Food not good at all. Does not look like fresh. Service too slow. 45 min waiting our food in an empty place.

Went there for Mother’s Day. To say that the service was awful is truly an understatement. I have reviewed several restaurants on Unilocal and have only given a review like this once. That restaurant is now out of business(not because of me). We waited for 90 minutes for our food. On Mother’s Day when they were not crowded. When we recovered the food, everything was cold. We returned it to be heated up and it took another 30 minutes to warm up. The manager did not even come iver to apologize Due to the abysmal service on an important holiday(and mediocre food at best), giving 2 stars is a gift.

We ordered delivery, and the costumer service was great. He told us what meals were best when ordered as delivery and he was right. He got here exactly in 20 minutes and my food was very good. I had the truffle pasta and we also ordered the carbonara. Both were good and unaffected by the fact it was delivery. Next time we’ll go in person.

I have a special place in my heart and stomach for this restaurant. The grilled octopus is always fabulous. I love that the food here is always consistent. Not to mention the great selection of cocktails with home made syrups and fresh ingredients. Don’t forget dessert they have rotating flavours for the panna cotta and the meringa. You can also check them out at the wynwood farmers market.

This little place is just so adorable, with lots of comfort seating and not to mention incredible attentive staff. They greet you from the time you walk in until you leave. Your glass is always full, and they have a good wine selection, a great selection of appetizers that you can get at $ 5 each or 5 for $ 23 and the portions are generous. I of course can’t ever make up my mind when it comes to food with so many choices and great things, so I ordered 5 different appetizers, they were all so yummy, but beware the fried stuffed olives are EXTREMELY hot, like hot lava spewing into your mouth hot. Which unfortunately i experienced, but thankfully had my wine to help cool it off. We also ordered the butternut squash ravioli. So yummy, it was also excellent. This little gem, is cute, fun and just plain adorable. The food is fantastic, service is excellent. You should try it.

I really wanted to love this place. I came for the half off Mondays special with the intention to try a few different plates. My boyfriend and I usually share everything so we can get to know a restaurant so we started with the Mimo salad and it was great. Very light, refreshing, and opened the palate for the whole meal. We had the lasagna, branzino, risotto and ravioli. Out of those 4, the best was the branzino. Very fresh, light and clean and the broccolini and roasted tomatoes gave it a great balance. The lasagna and the risotto were good, not the best or close to the best I’ve had but for the price we weren’t disappointed. We both didn’t like the ravioli though, and it’s supposed to be one of the house specialties.

I ended up here after arriving at my motel nearby and wanting to get a bite to eat. I actually tried Organic Bites first but they refused to seat us so we ended up here. I’m glad we did. The outdoor seating is so nice. We’re enclosed by bushes and a nice breeze. The décor is truly rustic like the restaurant’s name suggests. I was delighted to be told that they were serving brunch!( ) I got the 6900 omelet, which was delicious. All the other egg dishes also sound great to me. My bf got Mr Biscayne, which was a Southern take on Croque Monsieur. You get fried chicken instead of ham and the Swiss cheese is crusted on the outside of the bread. A wee bit dry but it was delicious. The best part was that everything is accompanied by a nice green side salad. I don’t know what kind of bread it was but the bread sticks were so delicious(a bit on the salty side). The juice was a bit pricey($ 8). I ordered the Morning, which was supposed to have strawberry, blueberry and mango. It tasted really sour to me, and didn’t look like it had blueberry, so I inquired the waitress what was in there. Turned out the kitchen ran out of blueberry and substituted raspberry :(When I decided that I didn’t want it, the waitress was quite helpful about not charging me for it. I can only recommend this place for brunch but I think their lunch and dinner would be good as well.

Went here on a Wednesday night without a reservation for a party of 6– there was no wait and we got a great table outside. I will say that with outdoor seating it is quite noisy from the street, but we enjoyed the food and service so much! They also have reasonably priced bottles of wine-we got the rose and it was great! My meal, the mushroom pasta, was delicious, but it was so hard choosing what to order!(Too many delicious sounding items!). They also are handicapped accessible, which was helpful with my grandparents

Decided on this place for a friendly date night & immediately loved the ambience. We sat outside towards the back & I loved that our waiter was extremely helpful with helping us decide what to choose from the menu. We picked a sweet white wine that tasted delicious & was served chilled. For food we did the 5 for 25 appetizers, & I deff suggest you try the little mini calzones! They were the absolute best we had two of those because we couldn’t get enough. For a dessert the Nutella flan was the perfect ending to a good night. I’m not a dessert kind of person, but this is my kind of dessert. I will be coming back here very soon.

We only had the opportunity to try the appetizers, because we walked in not hungry, only looking for a bar to have a couple of drinks after a long day at work. We usually like to sit at the bar, and when we saw two empty seats we knew we were meant to stay there. The ambiance was really nice, and the bar is well stocked although small. When we got a little hungry we ordered two appetizers, which were small in size, but packed with flavor, we decided to get three more(you can choose 5 for $ 23). We loved the prosciutto, and the ricotta was to die for! We’re definitely returning for a full meal soon! — I deducted one star because our bartender, although friendly, seemed to have been tasked with TOOMANY things like phone orders, coffee orders and taking the food/drinks orders of people who were sitting at tables near the bar. So, be ready to wait…

Love the atmosphere of this restaurant! Great outdoor seating for a wonderful lunch. We enjoyed a company lunch and were easily accommodated with a large table to fit us all. My favorite option is the Assagi special where you can chose 5 different small dishes for $ 25. Its great when everyone can order something different and try all of the different options. The Polenta and Aracini are must have dishes! Didn’t give Via Verdi all five stars as the wait staff could be a little better trained in their hospitality.

I was craving Italian food and I just happened to find this location while driving down Biscayne Blvd., basically went in blind. As a mother I look for family friendly restaurants so my first question was if they had high chairs for my 18 month old(weird question?). I saw they were participating in Miami Spice Month so I went with their Lunch deal($ 23 can’t beat that!) and some Italian white wine he suggested($ 13 a glass; I had 2), can’t remember the name though. On to the food: App: Gamberi– the shrimp was a little too«grilled» for my liking, but man that gazpacho was to dieeeeee for. Entrée: Ravioli– description says it’s a mixture of Parma ham & ricotta. I think they skimped on the ricotta on some of the Raviolis. Some of the Raviolis were bit chewy, but the sauce was good. Dessert: Bunet– this best Flan I’ve ever had!!! Words can’t describe the foodgasm I had while devouring it. Service: I rate my service on how patient they are with kiddos. My daughter is a messy eater, she gets pretty rowdy and enjoys a bit of flirtation with the staff. The waiter was very attentive to both of us and as the restaurant got more busy he still kept his eye on us(mostly my daughter, who at some point started waiving at the patrons and staff as she ran around). He picked up toys, flirted back and had a bit of a convo with my daughter. They exceeded my expectations. Overall I had a great lunch date with my toddler. Very family friendly, which is of course important!

Another wonderful Mimo restaurant. I love so many things about via verde. Here are a few: the setting, the restaurant is almost entirely outdoors but in a covered patio so you get the best of both worlds. The service — it’s run by the Caro brothers and their friend and business partner and it feels like a real family owned restaurant. The owners are always out front(except the chef) and they are welcoming, friendly, fun, and love to chat with the guests Truffles! Are you a fan like me? Well as they come from Piemonte and this restaurant focuses on piemontese cuisine, they are in everything! Ah the smell alone is intoxicating let alone the fresh shaved truffle Specials — Monday all small plates are half off and Thursday all wine is half off. Brunch — bottomless mimosas for $ 19 with some original flavors, don’t miss the kiwi concoction. Wine dinners — their wine selection and special occasion wine dinners are well thought out with some new flavors and surprises. The wine dinners are in a charming private room. In can’t always tell where this restaurant physically begins and ends and I think it’s intentionally done to blend into the scenery like your favorite Italian trattoria.

NPS = 6 Thank God we were here for 50% off Monday’s. I would’ve lost it if they had charged us double of what we paid for what we had. I feel like the 50% off is more of a gimmick than anything because you end up paying the same amount you would at any restaurant for the same food. It’s not a SPECTACULAR savings like they announce, but the price ends up being fair for what you get. The food was good. But definitely order pasta. I ordered the branzino($ 26 by the way for regular price) and I was served a small filet with two(yes, two) broccolinis. I still feel like I overpaid for what I had at $ 13. It left me hungry. The pasta my girlfriend had was fantastic. Stick to pasta, you can’t go wrong. The service, now, could definitely use some work: *I had to get up to get my own olive oil since no one was around. *I had to waive down another waitress for balsamic vinegar. *We ran out of water and had to wait for a couple of minutes for someone to pass by to ask for a refill. Overall, the people were nice but I just wish they would have been more attentive. And this review is definitely based on the 50% off Monday’s because had I paid double what I paid for what I got, I would’ve been rather upset. If the portions remain the same at the full price, this restaurant definitely has to revise its menu/prices or risk losing business with so many other restaurants on Biscayne.
