Located in The D gates of American Airlines, the food was ok, nothing great about it, not too pricy. The costumer service was not good, the guy that took my order then forgot he had taken my order and wanted to start the process again, what kind of costumer service is that? Here are probably better food establishments here but I had a craving for Italian.

Airport pizza it was the closes thing to my gate that didn’t have a long line so i could get something in a hurry. After i decided what type of pizza i wanted and got back to my gate it was cold, the sauce taste just not good at all. I went back to see if they could heat it up but the line was long at that time. Just make sure you test the pizza before you leave sucks walking all the way back and it’s nasty

Tried to tell the manager that I had an issue. He walked away. I cancelled my order. Don’t go here. Rude customer service. Overpriced. Watch what you order.

Villa Pizza is not a bad place to grab a quick bite to eat before boarding a plane. The service is friendly and the food is not too bad. The portion sizes are actually generous for the low prices.

The only thing good about this place is that it’s located in the airport terminal. Other than that the prices are quite expensive for the taste your getting. Nothing is fresh and they literally use the microwave for the bread and other stuff. The pizza is mediocre and the lasagna is just meh. I’d suggest you don’t come here. There are far better places to eat in the terminal. Something positive would have to be the service is quick.

Way to the end of terminal D for American Airlines, the food choices start to get more and more sparse. That is where you will find Villa pizza. I ended up ordering a combo meal(#4) containing a Stromboli and a side of two meatballs covered in marinara sauce and a drink for $ 10 or so. The food came out item by item and although I was dining in, it would have been nice to have some trays located near where the food is delivered. I asked the guy handing out food and he pointed me to the garbage can where previous guests had dropped their old dirty trays. That was disappointing but I located the clean trays at the other end of the counter and grabbed one myself. A little weak on the service side. The meatballs and marinara were steamy, well made and tasted fresh. I was later glad I asked for the extra sauce for the meatballs as I needed it to soften up the hard stale breading on the Stromboli just to eat it. The Stromboli I was really looking forward too the most and saved it for the end of the meal. After biting into it, it was clear that it had been sitting, waiting for a customer for quite awhile. The last bit of the Stromboli was not even edible. I couldn’t even bite into the stale breading. I visited at a busy time for the airport, 7 pm prime time. I couldn’t imagine coming here when it is slow. If I come back again, I will just order the pizza.

This place was delicious. They give you the options of a slice or a whole pizza. The crust is thin & the toppings are your usual. It’s not fancy pizza but it’ll do the trick when your starving & want something quick to eat. Enjoy!

At 8am in a Miami airport terminal, there aren’t exactly many options, but there are better options than this establishment. The slogan here is «fresh Italian kitchen»… However, I swear this place is all leftovers! When my husband asked for a slice of the meat pizza,(which is the thickest crust I’ve ever seen), she took it off the table with tongs, and put in the conveyor oven without a pan or anything… Just the one slice. If it was fresh, there would not be a need to «reheat» and it still look like this(see picture below). My husband isn’t a complainer– but if this was my pizza… I wouldn’t eat it so I could sit in regret in an airplane bathroom the whole flight.

With few choices I picked this place. Pizza was dry, overcooked and lacking flavor. Find a different option.

I wish I can give this place a negative star rating. Absolutely the worst pizza I’ve ever had & I’ve had some really bad pizza. Not only is the pizza pricy but it’s not eatable even after putting on a lot of salt & asking for extra sauce. Save your money & your stomach from pain; find another place to eat. Wish I had.

I fly internationally on a frequent basis, about once every two or three months. Usually, my travels take me through the very large Miami International Airport where I always connect to another flight to reach my destination. Since I have been to this airport numerous times, I have eaten at most of the restaurants. At most of the restaurants, I found the food to be questionable at best. This was the case until I happened to buy a slice a pizza from Villa Pizza, which is located near American Airlines Gate D44. If you go through my past reviews, you will see that I love pizza and I really appreciate GOOD pizza. Villa Pizza, in my book, is one of those places with GOOD pizza. They sell by the slice. Their slices are nice crispy. They are not rubbery. The toppings do not fall off in a runny mess like pizza from subpar spots. I enjoyed my slice of pizza from Villa Pizza, an airport joint. Yes it is possible. I have several upcoming international trips that will take me through MIA. Trust me, if I have the time, I will make a beeline for Villa Pizza and enjoy a slice before a connecting flight. It is well worth it.

Ugh, save your money. I did not have high hopes for this airport pizza but my food was nearly inedible. A slice of pepperoni was nearly $ 6.00 and tasted burned. It didn’t look burned so I’d bet the taste is from an oven not cleaned since 1989. Yuck! I find Wendy’s to be the best bet in terminal D. Their salads are really fresh.

Stopped here and got a slice of pizza before getting on our flight back home. Smelled good while in line, and the pizzas looked fairly good. That’s where the good part of this experience ended. My husband chose two deep dish ‘everything’ slices. Not sure how much he paid for them, but whatever it was it was too much. Although the crust was slightly crispy, the toppings were not even hot. The cheese seemed only partially melted. Gross. Will never come here again, I don’t care how hungry I am.

My $ 8 lasagna was not as bad as I expected. Definitely tastes frozen but beats other airport premade sandwich options. It came with a pretty big garlic roll so I ate half of the lasagna and the roll and was already full. Other options such as the pizza didn’t look as good. Container wasnt very easy to open and a bit messy after taking it on the plane. Wish I had more time to eat as they do have tables.

OMG as if terminal food could be any worse. I ask for a slice of peperoni thin slice and am told we only have Thick. The Monster thick with an ounce of sauce and laser cut peperoni despite my looking at a freshly cooked thin peperoni pie. When I asked and pointed to the more appealing offering its explained that thas was a special order by a flight crew. Just a thought… The general public might like and be willing to pay for a better product than the day old loaf you tried to push on me.
