Vmc Towing Recovery

This tow service was contacted through BMW roadside assist. They very quickly sent a driver out. I thought that the driver was repositioning the tow truck but simply drove off without informing me that he either didn’t want or could not perform the requested job. After waiting for an additional 30 minutes I contacted BMW roadside assist again they were unaware that the driver had left. I’m without words.

Was told 20 more minutes three times before I called another company. Awful and rude service, wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy

I have to say, the below reviews could not be more accurate! Horrible & rude service, lying about their location… I waited for over two hours until road rangers arrived! I also got the «we’re in traffic» and «twenty more minutes» each time I called. DO NOT USE!

When people give 1-​star reviews for this place, they’re not lying! DO NOT TRUST these people.
If no stars were an option I’d be racing to give this place what it deserves. I know Miami isn’t known for their customer service, but this place has got to be the worst. I mean you really have to try hard to have such low standards when it comes to running a business. I’ve encountered thus far in my life. I waited nearly 4.5 hrs for a driver to come. It takes a lot for me to get worked up, but waiting 4.5 hrs in the hot Miami humidity will be enough to send anyone over the edge.
While trying to politely call & ask what was going on, they guy who answered the phone basically gave me a line of crap. «Oh, I’m sorry he’s stuck in traffic» or «Oh he’s 20 minutes away» I’m sorry, but it’s completely unprofessional to not hold yourselves accountable for your actions. Irregardless of the excuses they threw out, all I asked for was for them to keep me informed.

All the reviews are true. called roadside, they said 55 minutes wait time. I gave them 65 before I called. They said 20 more. Nothing. Called GM again to get their number and supervisor suggested to just wait as another dispatch would take longer. Called the man myself because they never called me to apologize or say anything. He said they didn’t know when they’d be there, blaming traffic. Traffic in Miami on a Sunday is inexistent. Poor excuse of a towing company, they are terrible. Do NOT use. I cannot believe GM would subcontract with these unprofessional, unreliable, and rude people. This is why GM is bankrupt. DO NOT USE THESE SERVICES.

Not prompt, all of these terrible reviews are true. You can call Kim the supervisor who is also taking care of a baby while she finds a reason to get you off the phone and not resolve the issue. Twice as long as far as the time promised later and she just says, «this is Miami,“in her broken English. What a poor excuse for customer service. call another crook, Miami is full of them.

DO NOT TRUST these people. The only reason I’m giving them one star is because Unilocal won’t let give them zero or negative stars.
I’ve been waiting over 4 ½ hours for them to show up to tow my car!!! They haven’t even bothered to call me. My roadside assistance had called them on my behalf. I’m required to stay with my car. Good thing my breakdown happened at my parents’ house and not on the side of the road somewhere.
Finally convinced the Roadside Assistance to cancel the call and call another company. This is absolutely unacceptable. Their yard is 15 minutes from my location, why can’t they arrive in the 70 minutes I was originally promised? Or the additional 20 I was later promised? Or the additional 30? Can’t they call and at least excuse themselves. Really how do they stay in business. At least I know my Roadside Assistance company is dropping them.

I had a fantastic, easy, and safe experience with VMC. I got a flat tire on a Monday night at 2am. VMC arrived within 20 minutes and towed my car to my home (my car is too small to have a spare tire). My car needed to be lifted a certain way that would be a huge mission for the tow-​driver, but he agreed to help me despite it putting him at danger from on-​coming traffic on the Turnpike. I am a young lady, I was alone — this experience could have gone a million different awful ways, but it’s was as great of an experience as I could have had after having a flat tire. Thank you!

I’ve been waiting for over 3 hours and when the tow truck arrived, it was not a flat bed. A flat bed was specifically requested by my road side assistance service. When I called the company directly, they argued with me that they did send the right kind of truck. Very rude! When I tried calling back they would just put me on hold! It ended up being down to the very last minute. I had to leave them my keys and run to the airport. The guy that came had never towed a Chevy Volt and he didn’t know where the tow hook was for my car. I gave him the number to my roadside assistance for them to deal w/​it since I had to leave to the airport. In the end my car was delivered safely to the dealer but not after a ton of fighting and frustration.
